This is my 3rd stay here, the property is beautiful so much attention to detail. The staff is warm and welcoming and the bathrobe is the best!
-
Very good location and great breakfast Wi-Fi didn’t work properly, the room door couldn’t be locked, ringing late at night and in the morning

There is some issue with the mattresses, I think it is time to replace them. But the major issue is the parking, we were notified couple of hours before our arrival that there is no parking space and we had to park one kilometer from the hotel, and walk in freezing cold weather.

View from room was great Overall exclusive Aesthetic was nice Foul smell Difficulties to reaching the room Spider webs was found in the room

The property was very nice including our room’s decor. Bed was very comfortable and we had a nice view. BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, GREAT ROOM- EXCEPT our room (#25) which was a room off the main building in an older (100 year old) building. Inside the bathroom, which had been renovated/ modernized, there was the most UNBELIEVABLE STENCH coming from the bathroom. It seemed most concentrated in that area. So strong, in fact, we both got headaches and still feel sick at our stomachs a day later. What could the source of the UNGODLY stench have been? The concierge mentioned former tenants on a lower floor having plumbing/pipe issues years before (not sure if this is the case), and we thought maybe a gas leak?, the maid came and tried to remedy the smells with spray, just made it worse and more sickening with a sweet smell over a sewagey smell. I'm still smelling the putrid smell in my mind and feel like it's permeated my clothes. We were on the top floor of that building. There is definitely a piping/plumbing issue that needs to be addressed.

The sofa in our suite plus a few of the upholstered chairs in their front breakfast area need re-cushioning or refreshing altogether - Their seat cushions allowed u to sink in the middle. Not too comfy, but also not the case for every chair.
-
wifi is extremely weak - bed was a little sunken.

Just across the bridge from old town and absolutely beautiful place to stay. Their restaurant boat on the river was magical when during dinner the boat left dock and went up and down river giving us a different view from the river. Can’t think of anything that would have made the experience better.

Everything! Beautiful and very nice staff. Beautiful location. N/A

Way too much furniture in our suite. Hard to navigate so much furniture. Couldn’t open the closet door fully as it hit furniture. Hot in bedroom and bathroom as the air conditioning unit was in the living room. To exit the parking had to get hotel staff to come out and lower the barrier.
-
Location and room size. The facilities need to be updated and the furniture and carpets were worn out.
-
The room was 5-star luxury on all aspects. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and elevated accessories. We loved our spacious corner balcony room with an amazing view of the Neckar River, castle and old town. Incredibly charming area. Nothing

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location with the view of the Heidelberg Castle with the River and Old Town is just amazing. The Staff is excellent. On short notice they were able to make arrangements for 3 rooms (2 connecting) for friends. By far the Best Hotel in Heidelberg. Everything was excellent.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. I loved everything about it. Very classy, comfortable, and luxurious. Check-in was very pleasant; I was warmly greeted, made comfortable, and the manger helped me with dinner reservations-- the restaurant (Nepomuk) was perfect for what I wanted. The bed and linens were very comfortable, and the robe and towels plush. The balcony was great. The view of the castle, bridge, and old town from the room and balcony were spectacular. The bathroom was huge. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was a surprise-- I expected a continental buffet breakfast, but instead was seated and presented with a 3-tiered tray of a variety of delicious things, and offered eggs and coffee. Exceptional service from the staff throughout my stay. Air conditioning was appreciated and worked fairly well, and the exterior windows & door do a great job of keeping out the street noise. It was an expensive room (for me) but a great value!
