The view from our window. The staff! The cleanliness! Everything

I'm so impressed with the impeccable cleanliness of the place. The staff's welcoming gestures truly made me feel right at home. Its prime location offers such breathtaking views! I couldn't ask for a better spot to unwind and recharge. This experience has been absolutely delightful and I can't wait to come back again. I would like to share a small observation regarding my recent stay. The attic room, while having a certain charm, proved to be a bit challenging. The sloping ceilings did cause some unexpected bumps during our visit. Additionally, the rooms were on the smaller side, although they were quite cozy. I hope this feedback is helpful for future guests considering this accommodation.

Beautiful old hotel on the river, on the edge of the Altstadt, with a short walk to the Alte Brucke and heart of the Altstadt. We had a room on the top floor. The ceiling sloped down (had to be careful not to crack a skull whenever I turned around), but the view of the river and the Heidelberger Schloss wad fantastic. It was a great value for the location and quality of the room. The staff was also extremely helpful and kind.

Hotel staff was super nice, friendly, and accommodating. Unloading and loading the luggage in front of hotel was excellent. Rooms were gorgeous. Location of hotel was superb. Would go there again. Highly recommend! Needed to park in city parking garage. Cheapest one is $16 per 24h.

Great hotel and staff, good location.

The hotel is small but very charming. Our room looked out over the Nekar River and the view was lovely. It is in a great location to see historic sites. The buffet breakfast in the lower level was very good. Being a small hotel, there is not someone 24/7 at the desk but they work to accommodate you if you are arriving outside of their hours. The hallways are narrow and can feel a little cramped. This hotel is not for people who want a concierge and cocktail lounge.

It was interesting to have a single set of pillows and duvet for one on a double bed :/ If you are at room close to the main road, get ready to be shaken when a heavy vehicle passes by, which is occasionally. Plus, a fridge in room would be good.

The location was perfect, right next to the river and one block away from the main street in the old town. Rooms were beautifully furnished with high ceilings - very romantic. Bathroom was nice and modern. Staff was super helpful and very responsive and helped my partner check in before me since my flight was delayed. A/C could have been a bit stronger, but we visited when temps were 33-34C (92F+). They did have a standing fan in the room prior to our arrival which helped.

The parking is a nightmare. The parking garage is a bit far - about 7 minutes walk. The price isnt too bad - about 16€

Annie at the front desk was wonderful! She was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to walk around Heidelberg and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the quaint building as well. Parking was difficult

The hotel staff was excellent, and the hotel's location affords an easy walk to the downtown area. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, breakfast was fantastic, and we would definitely stay there again!

Awesome location They didn’t make up the room or change towels during a 2 night stay

1, The location is quite good. It is close the old bridge and also convenient to go the tourist points and restaurants. 2, I love my room. It is big and clean. I could see the beautiful river view from the window. 3, The staffs are good but their working time are short compared to other hotels. Everything is fine.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The Hotel is close the the old town center. It is very clean and the room was well kept. The room was very small with barely enough space to put down and open a suitcase. Some of the rooms face towards a somewhat busy street, so that you have to keep the windows shut for a good nights rest.

The welcome from reception was very warm. They broadly respected my desire to speak German. We are very familiar with Heidelberg, so did not need much guidance. The room was a good size and with three windows, it had great views across the river and across to Philosopher's Way on the opposite bank. Breakfast was excellent. It looks like there is a dedicated member of staff looking after it, and she was helpful and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently situated, being near the centre of town, and on a bus route direct to the Main Railway Station. I have attached to this review the views from two of the three windows in the room. I might say two things. Firstly, reception is not manned all the time. The hotel is quite small, and I guess they cannot justify the cost. But, if you arrive later, make sure you have a plan. Secondly, being near a bus stop where buses run late, our room, at least, was subject to noise from revellers. I will balance this by saying I would be happy to have that room again.
