There was a dirty washcloth left on top of the shower curtain rod, the vent fan was filthy the tub stained and the tub faucet kept dripping even after being turned all the way off.

Sheets had stains and hairs on the sheets when we were checking the bed. Room never cleaned for the 4 nights that we were there. Breakfast was ok until this morning: No forks, no meat, only one juice option and no coffee. I normally stay at Comfort Inn for the spacious rooms but this one had small rooms. My second thought was that I should have booked the Hampton Inn next door instead.

Very clean room, great size for price. Quiet halls and great breakfast options. Professional and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The hot tub is too high for a senior to climb over the side. The floor of the hot tub is too slippery. Had to shower holding the grab bar the entire time.

The staff were not helpful. I got charged a $50 fee… that was supposed to be credited back. Never happened. When i tried checking out I was ignored but had two small children with me so just had to leave. It was just an odd experience. Breakfast was a mess. Not enough room, food, or organization.

Pool and hottub were closed. No sign was up to say why. We were not informed at check in that they were closed. I admit we didn't ask if they were open we just assumed they were. Room was clean bur pillows on bed were somewhat lumpy.

The week before I booked my reservation, I called the motel and spoke to the manager specifically asking if the shuttle could drop my wife off at the mall and she replied that would be no problem so I booked the room. The next week when we arrived and checked in they refused to drop her off at the mall. We will not be staying at this property again. And the breakfast wasnt that good either.

One of the comforters on one of the beds had a huge rip n exposed the lining. This needs replaced. When u turned on the shower a lot of the water continued to come out of the faucet instead of the shower head. Needs repaired.

Pros: Room was a good size. shower/tub was big. Small soap bars & toilet paper furnished upon request. Hallways smell nice & lemony (too bad room was not as clean as the hall smelled). Breakfast (scrambled egg, sausage links, bread, yogurt, cereal, waffle) provided. Plenty of parking. Lobby desk staff provided good customer service.

I absolutely loved the two king bed room! I loved that it had a separate room and I absolutely loved the big bathtub. Great value and great location real close by the mall. I didn't like how the bathroom sink drips when you run the faucet, we had to use all of our towels to put underneath to soak up the water but the front desk was very nice and gave us some extra towels. They said the maintenance worker was not there at the time. But I think what bothered me the most is when my son dropped a toy underneath the couch and when I shined the flashlight underneath the couch and it was disgusting under there, it looks like it hasn't been vacuumed underneath the couch in months. Then my older son lost an earbud so we started looking around the bed and behind the bed and it was disgusting back there too. Furniture definitely needs to be moved around and vacuumed. First night I had to rinse the tub out because there were black hairs in it.

The staff was friendly, and the location was ideal for our visit. Unfortunately, the room itself was lacking. It felt outdated and could have been cleaned more thoroughly. We chose not to sit on the couch because it had noticeable stains. On a positive note, the breakfast was good. Overall, this is one of those hotels where you get what you pay for.

Everyone at the front desk was friendly and welcoming during check-in, and the housekeeping staff was just as helpful when I needed a towel replaced. The beds were soft and comfortable, and the room was clean, spacious, and nicely refreshed. The bathtub was almost hot-tub sized, and it felt wonderful to soak in it after a long day of travel.

The toilet was not working and she came into the room and fixed it temporarily, however, the toilet wasn’t working like I told her from the beginning. She offered nothing for me having to flush by filing the ice bucket with water and dumping it into the toilet. I told her that also! No compassion, empathy…nothing!! I guess it did not matter how my stay was as long as she got that rate and my deposit!

I booked this hotel based on amenities mentioned on Expedia 3 weeks prior to my arrival for what included with the stay on Expedia … "shuttle service to the Gaylord Texan & back and surrounding areas within a 5 mile distance". You've made updates to expedia NOW, but when I booked my reservations it was advertised and upon arrival it was stil advertised on Expedia that your property offered complimentary shuttle service to these certain locations. When I arrived and asked for the shuttle, you deny the service! Then after I bring it to your attention, you remove it from Expedia... It was and is the entire reason I selected your property. I could have and would have Chosen to Stay at the HAMPTON INN Property directly next door & only 20 STEPS for only a few dollars more, a clearly superior property and experience which includes the complemetary shuttle services aforementioned included in their nitely rates. If you’re gonna NOT accept or change YOUR OWN policies then you’ve got to change it everywhere you advertise and accept responsibility for what you've advertised when it is asked for for those folks that based thier decision to select your property ask for it at their stay! IT IS the DEFINITION OF INTEGRITY Not cool & disrespectful to deny people what they thought they bought based upon your own advertisments. Say what you will do, then do what you say! Some minor inconveniences, like a broken shower rod, missing coffee on days housekeeping didn’t do the room, but decent breakfast and nice to have a little fitness room and pool.

We have stayed here multiple times over the past couple of years and have always enjoyed our stay. The staff is very accommodating when we ask to stay in our "usual" room 116.

We had to switch rooms because the door frame was broken on our room…. The room we switched to was OK but asked her was not very clean. Cheap hotel… Got the job done as we just needed a place to sleep.

As a family when we travel, we always stay at this hotel. They recently did an upgrade/renovation and is wonderful. It is quite and safe location. Very closed by the Grapevine Outlet and other shopping areas. Room was very clean and comfortable bed. I will always go to this hotel we love it.

Room had a weird smell. Bathroom shower curtain rod was falling off the wall so could not shut the shower curtains. Rust around the tub, furniture was old.

coffee on wall in room. phone didnt work. fridge didn't work. Told front desk he kept saying it takes time. gave it a long time. He came up and checked it and said he would tell maintenance in the morning I explained we had just bought alot of cold groceries that would ruin. But nothing was done! We paid too much for all our food to ruin! He first said all rooms were full but then said if a reservation didn't show we could have their fridge. Why couldn't he switch them? Why do they get a working one and we don't when we have kids alot of food and we're here first? It's just not ok and I do not feel that we were treated like valued customers. Our cold food totalled $62!.we leave tomorrow and we needed that food for our kids to be able to have food for our long trip tomorrow! Now they have nothing and we have to put out even more money! I'm extremely upset about it! And even if management were to offer us a deduction on the room, which we expect at this point, it will take several days to reappear on our card! This is just NOT ok!

We stayed in room 421. Our tub/shower combo was messed up, but nothing to biggie. Bathroom door was missing the latch for door to actually stay closed.

I reported this on another site and when my daughter a minor, went to turn in the key the next day the manager thought it right to CONFRONT her on the subject. I went in and confronted him and advised him to never do that. Never speak to someone's child, question them, especially without the parent there.

The hotel was under renovations, which was not specified when I booked it. It was just messy, and the ice dispenser didn’t work on our floor. (We had to try 3 different floors until we found an ice dispenser that worked. Our bathroom door did not have a handle. The pullout bed was very uncomfortable. The staff at the desk were all friendly and helpful, and the breakfast servers were accommodating and kind.

Nothing in that hotel works. The laundry service is out & front desk did not even know about it. The elevator makes a bad noise and sounds like it’s about to give out on you. Breakfast was nasty. Eggs had water in them. Do not waste your money on them. Also the 4th floor was all wrapped up in plastic because they were painting they were still putting people on that floor with all those paint fumes and everything was covered up.

I called for airport shuttle and was told it could take up to 30 mins. After an hour I called back and was told it would be coming soon and they would call me when it was on its way. After another 30 mins I called the hotel and was told the same thing. I waited another 30 mins and finally took a taxi. I never received a phone call from the shuttle. The hotel needs updating as furniture was very worn, plastic on carpet in hallways. Would not stay there again.

I was on a business trip and staying here was convenient. Upon my arrival, i noticed a young woman standing in the lounging area in the lobby. She was talking on the phone unconcerned about me standing at the front desk waiting to check it. I was there for 4 clock minutes before two men walked in. All of a sudden she flew over there so fast, it was as if she was wearing skates. I felt slighted to say the least. Needless to say, the men went on in but that forced her to assist me. That greeting set the tone for my week stay. The breakfast was standard powdered eggs and sausage. Thw room was clean however the doorknob was completely missing from the door. Thats all i have to say.

The hotel was dirty. When I checked in I just thought alot of people had come through, but it would get cleaned the next day. It did not. I spent 3 nights and the same trash on the floors and the elevators remained. Also, my room wasn't cleaned well and the trash from the previous occupants was still in the room.

They were doing renovations while we were there. They gave us no notice and it smelled like paint fumes and the employees were sitting around in the lobby eating and chatting

This hotel is doing some painting. The room we asked for was not available so we were moved to a floor that was still being painted. The hallway was covered in plastic. Later, there was a burning smell coming from the whole hall. When we called the front desk, they just said there were no alarms so they didn't worry about it. It smelled all night. No one ever came to look at the issue.

This is a great property. It is what it is and it’s very good hotel in an excellent area. We usually stay at a hotel chain we have rewards with. This compares nicely to those in the same price range.

I've stayed at the Comfort Suites twice in the past two weeks. One room needed TLC in the bathroom, where the shower rod had been repositioned twice without them even patching the previous holes. My second checkin I was give an room in much better condition. Overall, for the price, I would recommend the property.

Room was ok. The chair to the desk looked like it was a throw away off the street. We showed the chair to the clerk hoping to get a different one, but he said all the chairs looked like that. I didn’t want to sit in it. We stayed 3 days and were told they don’t clean until the 4th day. We had to bring the dirty towels to the front desk to get clean towels. The staff was friendly.

I loved the bathtub in the bathroom and so did my kids..Breakfast was ok, but overall it was clean not to expensive and convenient to our stay.

The desk chair was so worn it looked like it was picked up off of the side of the road. There were literal globs of hard stuff on the desk, tv stand and night stand. The lack of a night stand/table on one side of the bed was very inconvenient. On the plus side the staff was pleasant, it was inexpensive and close to where we needed to be.

The building is hopefully going through renovations not sure if it’s going to renovations. It was a bit of a mess. There was bugs in the room ants mainly but the staff was really nice and very kind. Not sure I would stay there again, but definitely if it is under renovations then yeah I would probably go back just because the staff was really cool

The lady at the check in counter wrote the wrong room number on my key envelope then yelled my correct room number across the lobby to me, which made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

Not sure why this hotel has so many positive reviews; and based on that we went ahead and booked it. It really needs a management overhaul and the reflects on the facility and staff. Heater not working, missing smoke detector and really old and worn out furniture, staff not doing room service leaves no desire to return.

The furniture was old and peeling, terrible! The 1st floor bathrooms had limited toilet tissue and no paper towels, terrible!

Property is in extreme need of upgrading. The room looked like it hasn’t been renovated since 1990. Dingy white shower curtains , leaky shower faucets, walls with putty that need to be painted. We stayed one night and cancelled the remaining reservations. The front staff member was very understanding and empathetic, says they just took over property and working hard to make changes. The hotel should be closed u til renovations are made and then reopen. The pictures on website are not the photos of the actual hotel

It was an overall pleasing stay. Breakfast was decent, room was nice, sofas in dining area needs to be replaced and they never brought clean towels or made the beds. Stayed for 4 days & 3 nights and I had to keep asking for clean towels. Also worker couldn’t really understand anything I was saying.

This hotel gives your chain a bad name. The staff is fine but it is in terrible condition. Beds, shower rods, toilets, all upholstery, lamps-/everything is broken, ripped or threadbare. Stayed here about 2 yr add to ago and it was much better. Would not stay here again unless I knew for certain some money was spent on refurbishing.

This motel is in need of some serious renovations. The office chair in our room was very worn, the bathtub faucet ran a steady stream the whole time we were there. I pointed this out to the desk clerk when we checked out.

The chair that was at the desk in our room was completely worn out with most of the faux leather already off. The built in benches at the front lobby were the same way and need to be replaced. Breakfast was ok but not as good as some other Comfort Suites we have stayed at. Overall not a great experience!

Friendly, quiet, nice bathroom, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Little things like old chair and lighting could use improvement but overall a good quality at a decent price and good staff. Consistent with their other properties that I have stayed at around the Dallas area. I would stay there again.

The mattress on the fold out bed was stained and needed to be trashed and replaced. The air conditioning units were a bit noisy and confusing to operate as they had a separate thermostat also. Positive was the large beds Plus fold-out mattress. Negative was the declining condition of the aging property. Very polite staff.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They are remodeling so there was plastic sheeting in the lobby but it didn’t really affect anything. Breakfast includes waffle maker, eggs and delicious sausage. Coffee’s not great. Bed was comfortable with lots of good pillows. Water pressure in shower is excellent and hot. I didn’t get a chance to soak in the huge en-suite jacuzzi tub but love the idea of it. TV had cable, HBO, sports and Spanish stations. I never heard any other guests when I was in my room. Price was great and probably reflected the remodeling mess. I’d stay there again.
