Our room was recently renovated- looked like it was done by a handyman- not professionally painted - restroom was done by amateur- staff had to be ordered to help us with the luggage cart - he was standing there watching a lady struggling with the cart - tried to talk with the facility to inquire as to traffic issues with the streets or if the facility was under repair or renovation, could not get the foreign call center to provide the phone number to the facility we would be staying at - overall very frustrating trying to get basic information

The entire staff was friendly from the time we checked in till the time we checked out. Coffee and water was available all day which was nice. The morning breakfast had a big variety. Coffee, juice, milk and water were offered. Breakfast included cereal, bagels, muffins and yogurt with all the fixings. As well as, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. It seems like the bacon and ham was only offered on Saturday. However, making your own waffle was a plus! The hotel also has an indoor gym and an outdoor pool but we didn't have time to use it. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was moderately quiet. The hotel is at a great location off I-35 and close to downtown. We exceptionally enjoyed our stay., biscuits and gravy. It seems like the bacon and ham was only offered on Saturday. However, making your own waffle was a plus! The hotel also has an indoor gym and an outdoor pool but we didn't have time to use it. This hotel has a good location in Georgetown. This older property was clean and the staff helpful. This property is pet friendly; We don’t have pets. The air conditioning system could use an update.

The elevator was right next to our room. While we could hear it it wasn’t overwhelming until the morning and then it was kind of loud.

I wish I would’ve booked a hotel further away that was better. Absolutely not worth the astounding price I paid of $331 per night bc of a concert in town - which I wasn’t attending. The AC had bugs crawling in it and I came home with bug bites in my legs. The room was damp and smelled and we couldn’t breathe at night because of the stale air. I would neee stay here again. The staff was beyond rude and not helpful. And I don’t write bad reviews. I’ve never given a 2 star review for anything ever.

AC didnt cool the room much,. Breakfast was ok I guess. Juice machine was not working right so either you got water, or a little juice mixed with water.

The staff was EXCELLENT! So nice and accommodating, called to see if we needed anything. We were there for an early morning event so they had breakfast ready early for our group. Would recommend to friends and would stay there again.

The room itself was not bad, except for the large cockroach, the Shower water pressure was low and the breakfast was disappointing. The location is great, close to Highway and Close to the Square in Georgetown. The room itself was quiet and clean.

Everything was spic and span! It is close to the freeway. So far, nothing.

it was ok but not run like a Best Western at all Reception staff (Nihall) was SO RUDE and horribly unprofessional. Doesn’t seem to have any concern at all with American customer service culture. Acts like he is being paid to just sit there and do nothing. Doesn’t understand he works in customer service. Had to call BW customer service to get help for them to remind him to do his job. 1/10, horrible.

Most everything was great. There was one very important problem. The mattress in room 225 was clearly worn out. Replacement is the only fix.

Very clean, updated, staff was good, breakfast was great and smelled wonderful. The whole place smelled wonderful. We will be back. I only have one thing and that is it needed to be painted in a few spots. Like around doors. The elevator door and the breakfast area door. But that was a very small thing. Everything else was great.

There were bedbugs. We could barely sleep from being bitten all night. Took some cheerios cereal in a cup with us for the ride and it had larvae in it.

The staff were wonderful, they just went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The location was perfect, close to the highway but tucked away enough to not hear a lot of noise. The location felt safe, I was not worried walking outside at night or concerned about my vehicle being broken into. The river was just across the street, with a beautiful walking path and gorgeous views. Breakfast was great, they have the coffee ready for the very early risers… they even arranged for us to use the indoor pool at their other property around the corner. The water pressure In the shower was amazing, I would 1000% stay again. N/A

Got another room that was not as bad, but very doggish. Both rooms windows were bolted shut, so we couldn't get ANY fresh air. My wife actually ended up having a horrible breathing attack and had to go to the hospital and we couldn't use the second day we'd reserved. I was able to leave the hospital once my wife was stable, went to check out early and get our things. I told desk what had happened and we needed to check out early, and they said "Sorry your wife got sick, but Expedia says no refunds." So the terrible rooms may have caused or contributed to my wife's breathing attack, and they tell us to suck it? Gee, thanks a lot. Screw this place, avoid it at all costs. It's clear it's fallen way, way down and smells like dog rescue that rarely gets cleaned.

We used to stay here when our daughter was in college there 2013 to 2017. So, this was our first time back since then. It appears that is has not been kept up or updated since then. It was a little disappointing.

It was very clean. Staff was very nice. Beds and pillows are comfortable. For the $$ it was a great deal! The ONLY thing that was subpar was the breakfast. Biscuits look good but no taste. Scrambled eggs weren't good. But cleanliness and comfort are most important to me

Georgetown is my favorite city in Texas and this hotel is my favorite to stay at when in town. It is within walking distance to the downtown square and right next to the Blue Hole Park.

The staff where great. The only thing is the AC issue. It gets reallt hot in the rooms. We had three different rooms and all three the AC didnt blow enough cold air. Either than that the hotel is great for the price.

Overall great experience for our overnight stay. It seemed like an older property, but it was well maintained. The breakfast options were great, even offering actual whole eggs versus liquid scrambled eggs. I just wish the pre-made eggs, sausage, and biscuits were hotter. We would stay here again.

Check in was great but.. seared co broach in the bathtub and used soap bar on shower shelf. Towels were thick but stiff and almost crunchy. Breakfast had lots of fresh fruit which is a plus for us. Quiet area

Checked in and was given a first floor room, I never stay on first floor, asked to move nothing available. Went to room rested for awhile went to dinner came back around 7:30, one one side is exercise room on other side was a man and lady that were irate at something, the walls were paper thin, when I had enough went to front desk and asked to be moved. Clerk called manager and we were moved to the other hall still on first floor. Beside elevator. All night I thought a baby was crying, the elevator. Man upstairs stomped around until late. Over 200. Charge for rooms with noise , never again

The fan never turned off and was loud even though I put the fan in the “off” setting. I tried the control on the wall and same thing, only cold air. I got the device to stop by pushing the reset button on the plug. The fridge ran loud as well so I pulled its plug. The first room we had was directly across from the elevator. At night time the elevator would open and close every five minutes and was squeaky every time it opened and closed. They did allow to move me and my family to a different room the next morning. They slipped the key under the door. The down side of the second room was that the alarm clock went off at 1 am in the morning. There was no way to tell it was off. I had to unplug the clock. I did not sleep. Breakfast was good. Service was good. Overall I would not stay there again.

Our Royal suite with in room Jacuzzi was great, except when the heater kicked out in the middle of the freezing night. Thankfully the heater in the living room worked and with it cranked up we were fine. Still enjoyed our stay.

I asked him why they didn’t clean it and he looks up on the computer saying we had our do not disturb sign on. We definitely did not. The breakfast was anything but good. I rarely write negative reviews, but this venue deserved it.

The hotel is very close to the Georgetown market square shops and restaurants and the grounds are well maintained and not run down at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The reason I rated it good overall and not excellent was the king bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We like a firm bed, but this was hard.

I recommend start breakfast at 6:00 as others hotels. I could not eat my breakfast any day (2) because the breakfast time started at 7:am

We went out and returned around 7:30 pm. The same young man stated that our original room was ready. My wife went back to the third floor as the man evidently needed the room were had unpacked in. She reported the room still smelled as a strong disinfectant had been used. We really didn’t want to pack up and move. We finally stated we weren’t moving. We were not compensated for the room rate difference. Also, we never understood why we needed to move. I have stayed at this hotel many times but I doubt I will ever book there again. I was glad we only had one nights stay. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

After check in we went to our room. We opened the door to a wave of air. We went to the air conditioning unit and the thermostat said 72. However it felt a lot hotter than 72. We turned the air on to start cooling the room. After an hour it was still very hot. We called the front desk and they came up to look at the unit. They did something to try to reset the unit and told us it should start cooling off soon. About 30 min later we went to dinner. Came back to the room it was still super hot. Called the front desk and told them our room was still hot. They gave us a different room across the hall. We went to the new room opened the door to the exact same situation a wave of hot air. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel in town. When we got to our room in the new hotel we walked in to cool room. The thermostat said it was 72 which was comfortable. I believe the hotel rooms at the Best Western had to be close to 80 degrees. Will never go back to that hotel again. Would not recommend at all!

Worst “full” breakfast I ever had. Powdered scrambled eggs that were like rubber, sausage links that I don’t think were actually meat, biscuits uncooked on the inside and watered down gravy. I think at the end, they wrap it up and serve it again the next day.

Extremely good. Very good experience.

The housekeeping staff could be more proactive. The shower ran out of body soap and it was not replenished.

Great location and breakfast!

The room we stayed had a connecting door to the next room, but there was no insulation between the rooms and there was no carpet under the door. There were 3 people in the room next to us that were talking. They weren’t yelling, just talking, but it was as if they were in the room with us. The walls were super thin. So, it’s not about the people, the building has no sound insulation.

Shower clogged TV. Not working Breakfast quite bad cold eggs, really tight space, one couldn’t to food. Good coffee

The Air conditioner is not cold enough. Took overnight to cool down and it was not even hot outside.

Very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was good. Bed comfy. Not much of a view, but quiet away fro highway.

Surprised such high reviews. I travel and stay in many hotels and would rate this hotel more low 7's. Felt like a cheap, old, hotel. Questioned the elevator every time I got in it. Price of $95 was worth I suppose.

I would definitely recommend the presidential suite with the jacuzzi and the giant four-post bed.

The location was convenient and the service was great. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our neighbors were really noisy but it was not worth addressing.
