Reviews
The Sinclair Hotel is a historic, art deco property with modern updates and high-tech features, offering a unique and luxurious stay. While guests appreciate the hotel's central location, cleanliness, and friendly staff, some have experienced issues with valet parking, room noise, and inconsistent service.
- Historic art deco property with modern updates
- Central location and walking distance to attractions
- Valet parking issues and long wait times
- Room noise, particularly from elevators and hallways

Valet parking was slow. Food was good.

Disappointed with our stay. Rooms are extremely small and the bathroom even smaller. Only one person fits in the bathroom and the shower is like a square glass small too. Not worth the price. It's in a very congested area and it's hard to see the valet. I complained because my room smelled like smoke and no one followed up with me. We had a drink at the bar this is not the most pleasant thing
- 5/5
I love that they offer a glass of champagne to offer a warm welcome during check in! Everyone is very accommodating. Its close to everything good restaurants and entertainments, we enjoy our walk at night around the vicinity, lots of cool places to see around!

The vibe is so neat! Much better than a standard hotel. So much design went in to preserving the original building. Norhing

Amazing service our entire trip. Loved the vibe of the hotel and location was fabulous. Highly recommend!

Valet is a long slog. Apparently it’s quite far away and the poor guys have to run their butts off !! 15-25 min to get your car. Now I had a steak from Wickid butcher. Amazing…….but the scallops. Oh my got I say by the toilet for hours worn abject nausea waiting for the chunks. Do not EVER order the scallops. They tasted like they had been preserved in Formaldehyde backed up with turpentine! AWFUL. Take them off the menu, Chef! It’s an embarrassment for an amazing property and an absolutely amazing steak that you offer! Do not ever serve them again!
- 4/5
Everything about the stay was amazing. The only downside, if I had to mention one, would be the check-in process. It took quite a while to get checked in, and while some wait is understandable, it did not help that only one person was handling check-ins while the other staff member was only assisting with bags. This created unnecessary delays and frustration, especially when the only check-in employee was tied up for about 30 minutes helping another guest sort out his reservation situation.
- 5/5
I would definitely stay there again.

The check-in staff were friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciated and made for a positive first impression. However, the room itself fell short in several areas. The bed was very worn down and far too soft, offering little to no support, which made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The pillows were extremely flat and also provided no support, adding to the discomfort. Additionally, the room was only stocked with two towels and two washcloths, which didn’t feel sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, while the staff was kind and helpful, the lack of comfort in the room made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay. Management should sleep a night to get a real feel of the mattress.

everything about this property was excellent, starting with the best check in experience by Michel (she was the best). all staff and accommodations were great, comfortable. Nice location for walking to everything in town. will stay there again when we go back!!!

We like the valet staff and the staff at the Wicked Butcher. My booking was changed at the facility from what I booked to another room. Even though they issued me credits and complimentary discounts, I didn't like that my booking was not honored.

Nice room but noisey corridors, I think we heard housekeeping talking and banging doors early both mornings. housekeeping didn’t turn up until 5.30pm on our second day when we were getting ready for dinner so the room didn’t get cleaned, service wasn’t great. It took 2 days of chasing to get wines glasses in our room.

Good place, nice design, great location. Convenient for 2 couples or family of three
- 5/5
This was the best hotel we have stayed in in a long time. Employees were super nice and helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable. We were very pleased!
- 5/5
The architecture, design and technology. The price for valet overnight and how expensive the restaurant connected to the hotel was.

Everything was fantastic. Matthew was great at arrival and provided a great welcome! The staff at the rooftop restaurant were fabulous and everything about the hotel could not have been better!
- 5/5
It was amazing the water pressure could be better but the staff was super helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere and great option to stay in Fort Worth
- 5/5
Definitely recommend staying here if you’re considering. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank You Sinclair!

However, Michel at the front desk was an absolute delight. Loved her! The Wicked Butcher restaurant attached to the front lobby was excellent for dinner and breakfast with exceptional service. The rooftop bar was turned into a sushi restaurant which was disappointing. Thankfully the hotel is in a great location so plenty of other restaurants just across the street and live music at Sundance Square. So overall just ok.

Great service and beautiful hotel. We had trouble with no hot water in the shower Sunday morning, however, everything else was amazing.
- 5/5
All the staff were very courteous and accommodating to our needs

Staff was friendly, room was immaculate, plus a wonderful view of downtown and the location was perfect for NYE
- 5/5
Excellent Experience
- 5/5
Everyone from the moment we walked in was smiling and helpful! Immaculate room!! Hotel smells great too!
- 3/5
Beginning to look a little tired. Window blinds fraying, in-mirror bathroom electronics broken. Some odd decor choices, e.g. no rugs for faux wood floors, which became slippery as one exited the shower. Beautiful art deco building but now offering a 3 star experience at a five star cost.
- 5/5
Very nice property and convenient location.
- 5/5
Highly recommended, bedroom so clean and standard, there customers Service pretty good & helpful.

Hotel overall was great
- 5/5
Our room was extremely clean and the staff was amazing!
- 5/5
Everything was great. The rooms are all automated with a touch screen which was fun.
- 5/5
Nice clean and quiet hotel. Walkable to a lot of places.
- 2/5
The tech in the room malfunction and kept turning ALL the light on full brightness. Happened 4 times from 2 - 4 am. Front desk didn’t seem to understand the level of frustration from not being able to sleep.
- 5/5
Great, comfortable bed and excellent service from hotel staff. Breakfast was also excellent. Ideal location for Sundance Square.
- 5/5
Location - staff was amazing - nice amenities
- 4/5
Room and Lobby were quite nice
- 3/5
It’s incredible that they charge $50 for valet daily for service like this. The beds are super soft and are so concave that I had to barricade myself with pillows to prevent myself from rolling onto the floor. A “technology-forward room” sounds great if everything works. It’s frustrating if everything doesn’t. Having to call for ice is annoying.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and the room was even better.
- 5/5
10/10 experience
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend and come back next time I’m in the DFW area! The room was spotless and has so many cool features from the electric lights, curtains, shade and shower! There was a really cool feature in the bathroom mirror where you can listen to music, browse the town and check the weather while getting ready! The staff were also amazing, along with the valet attendants. Check it out for yourself. You won’t regret it.
- 5/5
Wonderful service from our arrival to our departure!! Staff was amazing. Will definitely be back
- 4/5
Close to my business meeting
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Food downstairs in both restaurants was top notch.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel
- 5/5
Awesome place!!!! Perfect location downtown near everything!
- 4/5
$50/night for valet is a little extreme. Room was smaller than expected. The desk and chair was pointless as i could not pull the chair out enough to sit before it hit the bed. Bed and pillows were better than most. Shower temp control was a little erratic mid shower.
- 5/5
Amazing room, helpful staff! And so convenient to all of downtown Fort Worth! All of the amazing technology in the room was next level, digital light and shower controls, along with touch screen in the bathroom mirror. All of the retained art deco charm mixed with modern amenities, makes this hotel high recommended!
- 5/5
Quick business trip and wanted a central location. Hotel was very clean and recently renovated. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
this is a "smart" hotel. which is incredibly annoying. i even had to program the shower. no thank you. the whole place is a hassle.
- 5/5
Cool hotel!! Love the design, convenience and cleanliness! Favorite place to stay doentown!
- 4/5
Some of the “smart” capabilities of the room didn’t work, but overall good stay.
- 2/5
I have stayed here before and it was great. This time the valet was too busy talking to help load the items onto the cart. No one offered to take the bags to the room. Breakfast is good but only 2 options for sweeteners. I asked the manager and was told it was ultimately their decision to stock only two. I informed her that I wouldn’t be eating at the restaurant until more healthy options like Truvia were provided. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was nice as always.
- 5/5
Everything exceeded my expectations! Can’t wait to go back!
- 5/5
Highly recommend it was an experience they will forever remember.
- 5/5
Went for my wedding night and they treated us to breakfast and a bottle of champagne. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. Not sure it was as nice as the price, but comfortable and clean. Very visually appealing.
- 5/5
Great spot would stay again
- 3/5
One thing which we didn’t like it was the view from the window. It was the brick wall which was quite uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Loved the shower in our room. Really cool tech with the lighting and electric curtains. A/C blew cold. Cool atmosphere with the art deco style. Roof top bar views were great. Would love to visit again…
- 5/5
It was a great stay and will be back again
- 5/5
Absolutely one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Texas! Yancy was the first front desk associate that assisted my cousin and myself for our visit and she was by far the most amazing and helpful person ever!!! She made the start of our trip wonderful . Our room was literally jaw dropping amazing!!! The valet gentlemen were all super friendly and very respectful! We will be returning back and referring others for stay .
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
The billing transparency is terrible. I was charged $800 additional fee apart from the booking fee from Expedia
- 4/5
Really enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
The property was well maintained and in a really walkable area with good dining options nearby.
- 5/5
The Autograph Collection never fails. The staff was amazing, as always. Whether we’re staying at the Adolphus in Dallas or the Sinclair in Fort Worth, we know we will be taken care of and have plenty to do within walking distance.
- 5/5
Great place. Not walkable from the stock yards but easy to grab a Uber.. a little loud at night but that’s to be expected down town.
- 5/5
Very historic hotel with tons of charm and modern amenities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great location, walk to sun dance square. Tons of bars and restaurants.
- 5/5
Wonderful property with a great restaurant
- 5/5
The hotel is a nice upscale hotel.
- 5/5
Overall very nice rooms. Property was boutique style which was nice for the occasion. I travel to FW frequently and thought I’d try something new. The only thing that turned me off was I called the front desk to ask what time did the bar close because I wanted to grab a drink with family who traveled there to watch my daughter perform at a big concert. We were informed that we still had 30 minutes so we thought that was great because it was late and we didn’t want to go far. When we got down to the bar, they refused to serve us and said even though the bar was open, they stop serving 30 minutes before. They didn’t care that I had not been given that information and made us leave. Was actually rude about it. That was very poor service to me. Because if that I will not return.
- 5/5
bed very comfortable, foods tasty
- 3/5
It’s very convenient and close to everything. The hotel overall is nice but it’s very underwhelming. I felt like I paid too much for too little. I could have gotten a bigger room with more amenities somewhere else in Fort Worth. I don’t know if I’d go back.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful hotel, great bed, the only thing I didn’t like was the carpet in the foyer, it looked dirty and for such a beautiful hotel and seeing the carpet when you walk in is an eye sore. Loved everything else.
- 4/5
Very restful room and bedding but having to use valet was inconvenient.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Love the touch screen capabilities throughout the room. The shower was wonderful! The smart mirror was a great surprise! Staff was friendly and and was very quick and polite. I would love to come back!
- 5/5
Loved the historic ambience. Staff was very attentive and service oriented.
- 5/5
super nice hotel
- 5/5
Interesting historic art deco building in the heart of Sundance Square. The ultra high-tech room is a little over the top but was nice. Service from guest relations was excellent! Breakfast service and staff were also great!
- 5/5
We LOVED the Sinclair!!
- 5/5
Excellent facilities, clean room, exceptional staff. The only problem we encountered was very noisy crowds/traffic on Friday and Saturday night.
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay
- 5/5
Stayed overnight on the Fourth Of July, accessible to the downtown festivities, professional staff, clean, updated and trendy. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and wonderful food. We spent our wedding night there and had a great experience.
- 5/5
The Sinclair is located next to Sundance Square. We had a nice time walking around the area. The hotel is beautiful and the lobby smells amazing! Everyone was really nice, and the automated showers, curtains and lights were cool.
- 4/5
Great area, very easy to walk for coffee, dinner, etc.
- 5/5
The suite was very spacious and clean. There are a lot of nice tech touches in their rooms. Touch screens control lighting, window shades, and room temperature. There were two nice size TVs with easy interfaces. The bed was comfortable and linens were nice quality. The bathroom was beautiful and had nice amenities including a bidet and a very modern shower with electronics that control water pressure, temperature and LED lighting. We had dinner at The Wicked Butcher. The food was well prepared and the staff were attentive. Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. Cooked perfectly and nice portions. The hotel is located in a safe and nice area. Beautiful architecture and lots of small shops and restaurants. We enjoyed walking around and there is an area nearby with fountains that children were playing while parents enjoyed live music from a Mariachi band. We enjoyed our stay at The Sinclair and you will too!
- 3/5
Nice but rooms are very small
- 4/5
Very comfortable. Nice bar and restaurant and what you’d expect at an autograph hotel. A lot of tech to even open curtains and use shower which is not ideal. Shouldn’t have to take 5mins to figure out how to turn a shower on
- 5/5
Amazing property & they upgraded us for our wedding night which was very awesome
- 4/5
The only negative was the drink service in the bar. Avoid the Sinclair signature cocktail. It was not drinkable due to its bitterness. Despite the waitress’ bringing simple syrup, it was far too bitter to drink for anyone in my party to drink, and definitely not worth $20.
- 5/5
It's a cool building in a cooler part of Fort Worth.
- 5/5
Beautiful historic place. Best hotel stay ive ever had !
- 5/5
They have valet parking. The hotel is amazing. It truly pampers you in so many ways. The lights drapes and shades are all touch screen controled. If you want a romantic mood set just press the button. Lights dim, shades and curtains close. It has other settings too. The shower is also touch screen controled. Make the lighting any color you want. Set the percise water temp digitally. Enjoy one of the three shower heads. The mirror can play music, show you the weather, news things to do in the area, etc. I look forward to staying hear again.
- 4/5
Cool old hotel in the center of downtown. The rooms are small, but they’re kind of funky. The staff was great. Only bad thing was the rooftop bar was closed.
- 3/5
Front desk staff representative from New Jersey was welcoming and helpful. However, note that you must use the valet with each and every use of your vehicle (and they were awful - our vehicle was dented) because your vehicle is parked in some nearby high rise, there is no ice available unless you contact room service, and even though we paid extra for three of us in a room, housekeeping didn't give us enough amenities (water, soap, etc.) to function. Our front desk man did help us when he could. There is no consistency with housekeeping either. Room was over-technologized. Too too much technology for the sake of technology in these small rooms. Just let me turn the light on or off, don't make me go through a touch pad to activate system, then hit it twice, then wait, to turn a light off. Geez. The bed was not comfortable either, as we had backaches every day after waking. Lavazza coffee pods great, but fake creamer and no stevia. No real place to gather in "lobby" - the one table available was always busy. Location is close to restaurants and downtown activities. Top floor was closed and construction was daily distraction. I just expected more from an historic and high profile property. If you are curious, stop in for a gander of the architectural features that have been restored and find a roomier and guest-friendlier place to stay.
- 5/5
Al good
- 4/5
Room service took forever 1 1/2 hours
- 4/5
The room furnishings are luxurious and the bathroom is state of the art. All the lights and the shower are operated electronically. more guidance on how to operate the system might be useful, especially for first time users. The desk/bar alcove is all black and should be more illuminated. The restaurant serves breakfast untill 11 am which is nice.
- 5/5
Smart powered throughout . Very friendly staff
- 5/5
Great location and walking distance to Bass Hall.
- 5/5
Excellent service! Very clean. Loved our stay.
- 5/5
Loved our stay
- 5/5
The welcome waffles were great. The room is swanky. The staff at the front desk is kind and fu
- 5/5
This hotel was amazingggggg!!! Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary champagne. The room was absolutely stunning. Definitely will be booking a stay again soon
- 5/5
Made our first trip to Fort Worth incredibly memorable. Thank you for being such a fantastic property with incredible staff - except the female manager of the restaurant. She needs a new job.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Loved this place
- 2/5
I would say you’re better off staying at a chain hotel like a holiday inn. Overall i felt my stay was overpriced and not an experience that matched the hotel price point. I wouldn’t refer anyone to stay here. Parking is $50 on top of the hotel stay which is outrageous. Then the room isn’t anything special.
- 5/5
Always a good bet well located great staff of people restaurants in close proximity Trinity River walking area only about five blocks away great restaurant on site for dinner, breakfast, etc.
- 4/5
Bed could have been more comfortable seemed like an old style mattress. Late night valet was gone from stand for at least 30-40 minutes. I wasn’t aware of a $150 surcharge either. I booked through Hotels.com
- 5/5
First time going to this hotel and I will for sure be back!!
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
It is a beautiful place with updated technologies. We will stay there again!
- 5/5
Great hotel and so nice! Very close to Sundance Square.
- 5/5
Nice visit right in Sundance Square. Good service. Nice restaurant. They had a great gym on the second floor. Very modern with smart room technology.
- 5/5
This hotel is everything you see in the pictures and more. I will stay here every time I visit from now on.
- 5/5
It was just awesome my wife and i were having date night and watched the super bowl.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Great place to stay near Sundance square. Lot to do. Hotel was great. The main reason we booked here was the roof top bar. Which was closed. Wish we would have known. Could have saved some money and booked elsewhere.
- 5/5
Great visit at a wonderful hotel.
- 5/5
Super friendly and courteous staff! Rooms were clean, room service was great! Valet was fast. All around great stay! We will stay here again!
- 4/5
Very nice.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and rooms. The ataff us very criendly and accomodating. Many closeby restaurants and shopping.
- 4/5
The night we stayed, the hotel guests around us were very loud and slamming doors throughout the night so we did not get a good night’s rest otherwise the hotel was fine.
- 5/5
I loved my room, especially the mirror in the restroom. You can listen to music and everything is electric. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and plaza. If you have a vehicle, you can valet, unless you find a cheaper parking garage. Valet was $50. I will definitely stay here again
- 3/5
Pretty building but overpriced rooms.
- 5/5
There was complimentary beverages and dessert, valet was punctual and very helpful, and the room was gorgeous! My family really loved everything. The only downside was the adjoining room next to ours, a couple was arguing extremely loudly around 1 am and even slammed the room door at one point, so we did notice we could hear other guests easily. Not the property’s fault at all though, I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in Dallas
- 5/5
Best staff
- 2/5
Hotel room was tiny for the amount of money. The rooms can hear everything going on in hallway. And I’m sure everyone can hear what’s going on inside. The bed is right by the door. 9th anniversary and was honestly, disappointed.
- 5/5
Absolutely love this hotel and all its amenities already booked another stay
- 2/5
Absolutely not worth the price. Poorly staffed, elevators unbelievable slow, outrageous valet parking charges, drapes would not open/close and extra items added to my bill that I had to have removed.
- 5/5
Liked everything
- 5/5
Would absolutely recommend for a girls trip. However the valet was $55 and took forever to get your car despite being repeatedly told it would be under 15 minutes and it was not
- 1/5
Horrible service
- 5/5
Great vibe. Great location. Great restaurant. Proximity to Reata, Bass Hall and shopping.
- 5/5
Lovely historically renovated with class. Fully enjoyed the stay. Internet lighting and ambiance was nice.
- 5/5
Good stay.
- 5/5
Every one was super friendly and courteous, the room was perfect .. stayed 2 days .. the only thing I have to say is that wished they would had cleaned our room the second day
- 5/5
Loved It! We only wish we stayed longer! The staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond to help us when our flight was cancled and our credit cards were frozen. They gave us food vouchers to help and it was so amazing! Great location. Amazing rooms. Good food!
- 5/5
I was especially impressed with all the valets, from late night to early morning and even though it was really cold always happy to be there!
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed at stay at The Sinclair. It is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the Bass. Our breakfast at The Wicked Butcher was delicious and the staff at the hotel was very attentive.
- 5/5
Very well-maintained property in the heart of Fort Worth. Convenience to Sundance Square and not far from Stockades. The latest technology in the rooms made for a fun diversion from typical hotel rooms.
- 5/5
Amazing stay- amazing hotel!!! Perfect location!!!
- 5/5
Beautiful revisioning of a 1930’s office building into a unique retro themed hotel. I really enjoyed the combination of the 30’s styling with totally modern conveniences in the room. Touchpad controls for lights, curtains, shower, and room temperature. Bluetooth connectivity to the tv and even the built in screen in the bathroom mirror. The food and drinks in the restaurant were well prepped and delivered. Prices commensurate with the setting. The service was attentive and timely. One small glitch at check in( due to computer software) was immediately rectified with grace and generosity. The location is PERFECT for a downtown Fort Worth stay, within walking distance of museums, Bass Hall, shopping , and dining. Valet parking was quick and attentive. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend The Sinclair for your Fort Worth stay.
- 5/5
Very nice staff , rooms clean , roof top was amezing and everything in the room was modern and most importantly the bed was great!!
- 5/5
Beautiful property with fantastic amenities & comfortable bedding. Love this hotel.
- 5/5
Gorgeous hotel with helpful and friendly staff! The bed was very comfortable and the atmosphere was professional and clean! Loved our stay!
