The environment was just perfect from the staff to the rooms. The staff deserves 10 stars across the board. I mean everyone so polite, kind, and professional. I will definitely be back as many times as possible. I would like to thank you all. My room was excellent and the cleaning staff did a great job as well. I also want to point out that the staff got alone with each other and they had a lot respect for each other.

Excellent breakfast! Very nice hotel. There was apparently a birthday pool party happening while we stayed. There was a group of 10+ kids in the pool, and they were screaming at the top of their lungs. The parents were screaming at the kids. The walls were vibrating, you could hear the screams throughout the entire lobby area. I ended up taking my kid back to our room due to the overwhelming noise (im a mom, i get kids are having fun, but it was entirely too loud, and no respect for others). The next morning i promised my kiddo we would go back to the pool when it was more quiet, however they kept the pool "closed for maintenance" the entire next day. I also paid extra for a balcony room with a lake view, and was placed in a room on the 2nd floor with only a view of the roof & trees. When i mentioned it to the hotel i was told there was nothing they could do because i booked through expedia. I will not waste my money on a lake view next time.

This was a very nice hotel especially for the price being less than most in that area. Breakfast was not included, but I would rather pay a cheaper price, and eat where I want or not. My only complaint about this hotel room, is the lighting is horrible. Its so dark even in the bathroom very difficult to put on makeup. Overall so clean and nice.

Great location, quiet at night. Good parking facilities. The lake right behind is great for a walk and to get out a bit during your stay. The ground floor lounge is big and spacious( unlike most other hotels which just have a few tables and chairs and a small bar at times) There’s pool tables, many big dinning tables and chairs, great spot to socialize or just relax enjoying your drink. The rooms are clean, with streaming TVs and walk in shower bathrooms. Very friendly staff.

Rooms were very nice. The bartender was really nice and stayed open for our large group tha got in late. The shuttle bus left us stranded though. They said they’d come back in 40 minutes. We waited for an hour and 45 minutes before somebody at the hotel said they weren’t coming.

The breakfast wasn't worth the price. Also, my card was charged for 100 plus for a dinner we never ate. Needs a better system as far as people eating and charges being made to rooms. The balcony was nice so was the lady up front.

I love the fact my teenage sons were able to go down to play on the pool table. They were also able to use the wait room. The Restaurant and Bar was a perfect place for me and my husband . To sneak away and have some alone time. This hotel had something for Everyone. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks

The staff here were welcoming, friendly, & kind. I could get my necklace to latch so I asked one of the ladies and they helped me with no issues. Front desk greeted me every time I walked it. I needed extra towels they can right up to the room. I asked if there was a microwave I can use…,they set one up in my room. I will stay here every time I’m in the area.

The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like quality toiletries, a spacious desk, and plenty of outlets for charging my devices. My room also had a fantastic view of the lake, which made for a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient — close to both DFW Airport and downtown Dallas, but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. I especially liked the nearby walking trails and how easy it was to get around the area. Amenities were excellent. The pool area was clean and relaxing, and the on-site restaurant served a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. The fitness center was also well-equipped for a hotel gym. Overall, this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the Dallas area. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend the DoubleTree Farmers Branch. The service, comfort, and attention to detail truly stand out. I’ll definitely be returning!

We enjoyed our stay for July 4th weekend. This is not our first time so we were happy to be back.

We were assigned to a handicap-accessible room, which came with a larger shower but no countertop and very poor lighting. The biggest disappointment was the view—our window overlooked a service area instead of the lake, even though the hotel was clearly not full. Dinner at the bar was decent; the brisket tacos had good flavor but were a bit fatty. The highlight of our stay was Troy, the bartender, who always delivers outstanding service and cocktails. His Colorado Bulldogs were the best we’ve had. Overall, the location and bar service were excellent, but the room assignment and overall experience left room for improvement.

Very quiet and safe location. Staff was friendly and provided great service. The only issue I had was that the WiFi is absolutely trash. I brought my Xbox console hoping to play my video game during my stay and turned out the hotel WiFi wasn’t fast enough for gaming. If you plan on gaming during your stay I recommend you book somewhere else. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is very nice both the inside and outside. The staff was very friendly when we checked in. We had no issues besides the air conditioner not really kicking on. By the time we got back to our room it was late and just dealt with it. No big deal. I would definitely stay here again!

Guests were inviting people over the pool area and had a party which went on until midnight with loud music . Food was terrible people were bring dinner and breakfast in from other places. The walls must not be insulated well because everything could be heard in the rooms when the toilet flush, tv , conversations.

On top of this, the weather was 91 degrees and the ENTIRE air conditioning went out on the hotel, 5/17/25. We were never offered any free breakfast or even an apology!! This was supposed to be a fun weekend get away to sightsee and enjoy but we were miserable the entire time due to lack of sleep!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Also the keenex only had 2 tissues so the room was not fully prepped after the last occupatant. Which puts into question how clean the rooms really are. Front desk was not welcoming low energy. Check in was fast and cookies are always nice. The balcony and peaceful Lakeview are my only reason to rebook.

Hotel was good. However, Bar/Restaurant personnel needs to be more attentive to customers. After a long trip, I was planning to dine at the hotel restaurant, however, after waiting for some time, I was ignored by the person at the Bar. He didn't even acknowledge my presence. I desired to leave and dine at a local restaurant.

This is always my go spot when I just want to get away and clear my mind. I love this spot because of the lake.

I guess you get what you pay for, It’s good for the price, and it’s really close go the attractions ; but the carpet has a bad smell, specially in the hallways, like damp.

Housekerpi g came to our door at 9:12 amand told us "checkout". We rushed around and got downstairs and complained that we thought it was 12 pm. The manager said it was 12 but that the lady from housekeeping did not speak English so all she could say was "checkout". All we got was an appology and told they would let us go back upstairs and take a shower but our tide was already there because we had called them when we were told to checkout. What a fiasco. An expensive fiasco.

We had a very great stay at this location! We checked in on Thanksgiving in the late evening and there wasn’t a lot of people there. Our room was lovely with a nice patio and lake view. The room was perfect - spacious enough for us to not feel too closed in. Great quiet area and easy access to highways. We went to six flags over texas, did some black friday shopping at grapevine mills and went to a show on saturday night at Silo in Dallas. We will definitely stay here again!

I booked this room on Hotels.com for one night and it was paid in full. When I checked in, the guy at the front desk who was completely clueless said I owed another $63.10. I showed him the paid receipt from Hotels.com and he said he would to “investigate” it further and said he would have to escort me up to my room since he couldn’t officially check me in and give me a key. He also had previously charged my card for what he said was the incidentals charge but ended up being $63.10. Finally he just gave me a key after I continued to stand there at 10:30 pm for approx 10-15 minutes and said he would figure it out later. This guy was totally inept and should have not have been working the front desk. I stopped by the front desk when checking out and talked to a manager who assured me the $63.10 was a mistake and would be reversed. We’ll see. Also I paid for a King size bed and got 2 queen size beds on top of all of that

Property and room was very nice. The only problem was the bed is on a platform and the edge of the platform stuck out. My husband banged his shin on the the corner several times. I put the ottoman that was in the room at the corner so he wouldn't bang his shins anymore. That solved the problem but I would suggest they change that aspect of the bed.

We fly in to watch the soccer game at At&T stadium and with so so many hotel options, I relied on reviews. And they were spot on!! The staff was great check in smooth- and the welcome cookies and water hit the spot after a long day. Our room was very clean and the beds and bedding very comfortable. The area is convenient to the toll roads. They have a Buffy style breakfast at the hotel, but we choose to go to a popular café 2 miles from the hotel (Starwood cafe ) great brunch options as well dinner in the near by arts District. A plus is that this hotel check out is at noon. Thanks doubletree for a great stay.

Over all I rated this hotel stay a 8/10! This property was great, and I definitely will be returning. Staff communicated properly & professional with it! Location of property is in a very nice area, property was very clean! I didn’t order food, but the dinning area and bar was available every night I stayed. The room was amazing , I had a balcony view! The water was soo beautiful in the morning & at night! I did love the fact that this property had a refrigerator in the room! The po was very nice & had a giant mirror down stairs in the lobby to take pics in, lol! The only con was the luggage carriers, yes it’s only 2 for now. But I know for sure they will get more. Book a room here, you want be disappointed!

When I arrived and went to my room it was very hot. They quickly got a maintenance man up to take care of it, but I was appalled while he was banging around on it that when he took out the air filter there was like an inch of dust on it. I have never seen an air filter so dirty. Ultimately he got the air conditioner working again, but it was going to take too long to cool down and since it was late they kindly moved me to another room. They have a breakfast buffet option that you can pay for in the morning. The lady that runs it is very friendly and helpful, though doesn’t know much English. However, when I went to get out some oatmeal from the vat it was blue on top! I told a different lady nearby and she also didn’t seem to understand me very much but she just stirred the oatmeal and smiled. Needless to say I didn’t get oatmeal. Overall, I think the hotel management just needs to work a little hard to keep a cleaner and better environment.
