The hotel room was large and the staff pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The room could have done with some upkeep- peeling wallpaper, chipped/cracked bathroom fixtures, way too much deodorized scent, etc.

The elevator was out of order so we had to walk through the back hallways to the service elevator. We got trapped on our floor because we couldn't get back to the service elevator because the door to it locks automatically and requires staff access. We had to call the front desk multiple times to reach someone to come help us. We didn't even stay the night due to all the hassle.

I liked the location and how clean it smelled throughout the hotel. They taxed on so many charges for me brining my dogs when that wasn’t included when I booked. It’s as if this is a high end fancy hotel and it really isn’t

Nothing I recently stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and was disappointed by how a smoke alarm situation was handled. There was a clear miscommunication between staff and guests regarding the alarm, which caused unnecessary confusion and concern. Better coordination and clearer communication during situations like this would greatly improve the guest experience. The hotel itself was old and short staffed . had a musty smell and not clean, but the handling of this incident left a negative impression.VERY DISAPPOINTING

Very nice facility overall with a very pleasant scent as you enter. High ceiling lobby gives a very positive welcome. The only issues I had was the room can use some carpet upgrade as they’re old and smelly. The other is staffing. It seems like hotel has problems hiring or cutting costs. Checking in line was very slow, rooms weren’t ready as promised, coffee snack bar was very slow (only one person working). I would go back, but hope they improve 8n those two areas.

The carpet throughout the hotel is dingy. They have 4 elevators. Only one works. We found out the hard way when trying to get an elevator and it takes more than 15 minutes. The hotel lobby is the only updated part of the hotel. It's not worth the price.

The stay was not what we expected. The guy at the front desk charge our card incorrectly and we had to wait for that to be fixed. Also the $50 hold is still on out account. We will not be back

Rooms are run down and tired. Electrical sockets didn’t work, carpets were dirty, mattresses soft and room was not well cleaned. Hampton across the street is far better (I switched mid stay)

Our first room we were assigned had a flood in the bathroom, it took over 4 hours to get someone to even look at it. After all that time a manager finally found another room for us. We are supposed to get credit for one night. He said that it had to go through Expedia. I hope I don’t have to fight for this.

The hotel rooms are a little dated (furniture and carpeting), however the service was outstanding. Alex and Asia took very good care of us when there was an issue with our room. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. Will come back to stay if we travel back to Dallas.

Our stay was nice. The only issue was the quality of the food in the restaurant. It was overpriced because of the cheap ingredients used and the cook had no idea what he was doing. I had the chili, which practically had a whole jar of pepper dumped in it, and the so called take on a Cuban sandwich. The ingredients were subpar for an $18 sandwich and it should not have been on a stale chibatta bun.

Hotel was good, my only complaint is the room i booked was the executive suite but the picture on expedia was a presidential suite. With that being said it was not what i expected, the Hotel manager explained and offered free breakfast in the restaurant for my family for our entire stay. I recommend staying at this hotel,just make sure you book from hotel site.

Elevators were not working properly and the stairwell doors were locked (which is a fire hazard so this should never be the case) and we had to use the service elevators.

I will say that I booked a cheaper room at a very reasonable price. Maybe higher priced rooms are better. If I were to stay here I again it would only be if I considered staying in a better suite.

I booked my stay here because when I called to ask about their pet fee for an emotional support animal they said there was not one for ESA. I get there and they tell me it’s going to be $50 a night and I stayed there 2 nights so that was disappointing. I couldn’t cancel because I had already paid and it was so late for me to go look for something else. Nothing special about the rooms really, small and kind of old. I didn’t try their amenities. It was decent price but the $100 pet fee just made it not worth it for me.

The room had a bad smell, the phone didn’t work. I had to manually call the front desk from my cell phone. I asked for late check out (4:00pm) and the housekeeper tried to kick me out of the room at 10:00am. Overall horrible experience I will not book again

Location was perfect for my needs, and is in a safe area just outside the loop extremely accessible to major freeways. I stayed three nights and never saw a maid, however, I did not request service and towels were available at the desk. I will definitely stay here again.

Old room with a threadbare and dirty upholstery on the chair and stained carpet. Bed was very hard and could feel every spring in the mattress. Room smelled musty and hot/humid, A/C did not work well. I had a recent stay at the Renaissance in Richardson that was fabulous and the reason for my selecting this hotel. Not an equal experience at all.

We decided to stay at this hotel after our wedding. When I called a few day prior to discuss our check-in I spoke with Crystal. When she found out I was the bride she went out of her way to accommodate our crazy schedule and to make sure when he finally checked in that everything was super smooth. The room was on a high floor with views overlooking the city and part of the pool. It was beautiful. The bed was so incredibly comfortable. We took a lot of very close forts me and cozy naps. It was awesome. We love this please. We had many options of places to stay after the wedding, but we stayed here for NYE 2018 and had such a wonderful memory, that we decided it was the right place for us after the wedding. We will definitely be back to stay here. Thank you Crystal (and Chyna) for making our stay so smooth and enhancing our special day. The restaurant was fabulous, the buffet breakfast was delicious, and all the staff we interacted with were incredibly friendly and professional. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel and beautiful room! Easy check in and out. My husband and I did run into a few issues: scalding hot water with no cold water, paper thin walls, and the front desk were a bit difficult to speak with as they were not clear with any additional charges or these issues we had. For example, they did not explain the additional $40 charge that I was surprised with, and they did not explain why or when the water issue would be resolved (it never was resolved). Beautiful and memorable stay, but I would not come back or recommend to others.

Decent stay. Pretty from the outside and lobby- old and outdated in the rooms. Towels we had were orange and black from other peoples make up and looked like it hadn’t even been washed… carpet was sticky and gross… beds were clean and comfortable though

The chair in the room are dirty they should clean them we arrived to our room the ac was not working we had to call they tried to fix it but they end up sending us to another room again chair where dirty the bathroom has no fan so it get stuffy.
