Brisa Pacific Hotel Encinitas

Great hotel for a budget traveler. Rooms are very clean and big enough. Lack light if you need. Breakfast is lame.

It was okay! It’s a place to stay near town and the beach. It’s nothing special though and I probably won’t be back.

The housekeeping staff was very friendly, but one day our room was not serviced. We were out for about five hours and returned around 3:00 p.m. to find it untouched. Since we planned to stay in for the rest of the day, I exchanged the towels and emptied the trash myself. I was told housekeeping prioritizes checkout rooms first, but I was surprised our room had not been serviced despite being vacant for several hours. We did not use the pool or breakfast, but appreciated having a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and small refrigerator in the room, which made it easy to bring our own breakfast and snacks. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, and I understand they are doing their best while finishing the remodel. One frustration was that two of the room lights were motion-activated and turned off automatically. Twice, the bathroom light shut off while it was in use, which was inconvenient. I appreciate sustainability efforts, but automatic shutoffs in the bathroom were frustrating. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is dog-friendly, within walking distance of great restaurants and downtown Encinitas, and just a short distance from the beach.

The location was great, near the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was pet friendly. We had to ask for someone to come fix the TV and to bring the hair dryer and iron and ironing board that were supposed to be in the room. The in-room coffee maker did not work. To be fair, it could be that these things could have been due to the fact that they were in the process of painting and doing some refurbishing.

The staff was nice enough. The room was dirty. We were told it was newly renovated but I guess that means it has new flooring and shower. The bed was old and the sheets were gross. You could feel the springs in the mattress.

Most rooms do not have closet or hangers. No closet or hangers. The breakfast was just cereal and apples, and the coffee was awful. They were working on the floors in the hallways. Should have offered a discount for the inconvenience.

It was clean and a great location. We can tell they were doing some upgrades which is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower had great water pressure and got real hot. The one thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast. All they had was cold breakfast stuff. I was expecting a bit more for breakfast. Something better than nothing.

I enjoyed my stay here. The location is wonderful, and the property has been renovated well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Rooms are recently remodeled/upgraded, very nice. We were located on the back side of the building, so we had a nice view of the lawn/garden... the rooms facing the parking lot would not be so nice. Great location! Walk to restaurants. Hotel was very quiet at night. Staff is super helpful. Breakfast was pretty much standard issue. They are working on the hallways/corridors for a much needed upgrade, All in all, there was nothing negative about this hotel, they are not skimping on maintenance which is nice to see.

For the "economy" factor, this property is great. I used to live in Encinitas, and the location can't be beat (well, unless you mind the occasional train going by). It's close to the beach (5 mins walk) and excellent walking distance to several great dining/coffee options. The room was clean; the bed was comfortable; the parking was always available. Breakfast could do better, but then again, there are SO MANY awesome options around for that. Super shoutout to the staff! Everyone was lovely and very accommodating. Thank you!
