Great place

The only thing future guests should be aware of is that this is a downtown property. Depending on the night, there may be street noise, live music, or downtown nightlife activity that is beyond the hotel’s control. If you’re a light sleeper, consider bringing noise-canceling headphones. During my stay there was significant street noise from a live band. Edgar at the front desk was kind enough to move me to another room at no additional charge and did everything he could to help. The noise was not caused by the hotel, but by activity occurring downtown. It’s easy to judge a hotel when everything goes right. The true measure is how they respond when something goes wrong. Stanton House handled the situation professionally, and I would stay there again.

Stanton House if definitely a vibe. This is my second time being here and I’d definitely recommend this hotel. All the staff are great and they have great amenities. I’ll definitely be back!

The regular rooms have amazing high ceilings and the beds are wonderful. Parking used to be great for a downtown hotel with self parking and a nightly charge. Now they've gone to valet only which makes me feel forced to stay in this area and not come and go freely like before. After fees and taxes, valet becomes as expensive as a meal for 2 and its just gotten out of hand. There is no reason to stay here anymore. It has become pretentious and stuffy and this will be my last stay at what used to be my favorite place in El Paso.

What an amazing gem of a property! My wife and I were in town for a show and wanted a nice place to rest up. I was highly impressed by the entire experience from the moment that we pulled up to when we rolled out. The front desk and valet staff was friendly and attentive. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. The frosted glass shower was an attraction in and of itself. The bed was comfy. Zero complaints! We’ll definitely be heading back next time we are in town.

Great location, right in the middle of city centre El Paso! Easy to find, with a prominent street presence. Good marks for cleanliness too, both in my room and in the common areas of the hotel. The decor and design was stylish, although possibly a touch old-fashioned for some tastes. Really comfortable bed; effective air conditioning; spacious bathroom. My room was at the rear of the hotel, overlooking the roof of a neighbouring building and an alleyway. The alleyway sometimes got noisy at night, waking me up, and one morning I was awoken at 6.00am by several minutes of what sounded like metallic shrieking. My stay wasn't as restful as I'd hoped.

Everything. The staff, the facilities, the room and the food.

The location was very easy to find with GPS. Valet was very quick and easy (and car came back perfect) and honestly cheap for daily use. The room was pristine, bed very comfortable. Minibar and coffee area very nice. Bathtub and shower PHENOMENAL. Front desk/concierge was extremely accommodating, very polite and helpful. They were also very accommodating to our dog which goes a very long way with us. The restaurant is also a 10/10 for all meal types. Even the water was pristine and pure. I wish we could have stayed longer if not for scheduling. Will definitely be recommending the Stanton House to anyone visiting El Paso.

No one was there to respond to the door when I came from a long delayed trip tired and exhausted!!! It was about 2 am. I got a callback 38 minutes later when I was on my way to another hotel. The lady was apologetic. Don’t get me wrong, I would still go but will make sure I call ahead of time.

Lighting controls in my room were bizarre - impossible to turn lights off from the bed even though there was a switch there.

Front staff we checked in didn’t know what they were doing a lot. Credit card machine was not working, etc. took us about 20 to 30 minutes to check. Otherwise, the hotel was amazing.

The room was comfy and overall clean. I will say that they need to work on the carpets, maybe remove them and switch to hard flooring. The surrounding businesses are a bit loud at times, but wasn’t really a problem. There are lots of places to eat and really close to venues and museums, definitely a great location. Parking is expensive if you park nearby. The hotel does offer valet at a reasonable price but I don’t like anyone driving my vehicles. Overall I rate this hotel 5 stars and excellent!! There was a desk up against the right side of the bed, so whoever had that side had a hard time getting in and out of bed. And there was a huge open space on the other side of the room? Made no sense why everything was bunched up on one side. Some of the lights were burned out, and the toiletries were not filled in the shower. The decor in the lobby, lounge and restaurant was really beautiful. There was no one there, which was strange. We were the only ones at the bar for happy hour. Left and went to have a drink down the street. Came back to have dinner at the hotel and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The spa Blush in the basement is really nice. The staff were amazing and I ended up spending the whole day down there because our room was so cold I couldn’t warm up. I did order lunch from the spa and it took an hour for a Bloody Mary and bowl of soup. But that had nothing to do with the spa. The staff at the hotel were all extremely kind, which makes me feel bad to say we didn’t like the hotel.

Loved its location in historic downtown. Tue hotel was quiet, impeccably clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in the restaurant. Many pros overall. Didn’t love that parking was $25 for guests on top of the room charge.

We booked one night and we will definitely be back. Amazing service and beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. Drinks at the bar were good as well. Recommend 100% for a couples date night or if you are here to visit.

Truly one of the very best hotel experiences we have EVER had. This hotel is immaculate from head to toe with unprecedented privacy and no noise from surrounding rooms or guests. Each staff member truly went above and beyond for us every single time we encountered them.

It’s a nice boutique hotel.

Hotel is far too overpriced compared to all the others in the area. Does not have a microwave ,and was very dirty. Staff gave an uninviting atmosphere, and didn’t meet expectations definitely will not be coming back.

unique property it’s situated in an old furniture store than turned to a sears. Great location.

The bed was probably the best bed I have ever slept in!
