SpringHill Suites by Marriott El Paso

This hotel will be really nice once the renovations are completed. The room we stayed in was renovated and was clean and comfortable. The only issue i have is old furniture out back everywhere including the sidewalk area which seemed like a potential hazard. It seems like all if the old furniture could have been stored away from the hotel premises in the parking lot. But with that being said, I would definitely stay here again. Its also in close proximity to wet and wild and restaurants and stores. Nice location and good area.

But the walls are thin we heard kids screaming and yelling at midnight and jumping above us 😐 Plus the ice machine did not work on the 3rd floor, all in all a good area close to restaurants and Walmart! Only 10 min from Wet N Wild

El staff es super amable, esta muy tranquilo y es muy seguro, están remodelando las habitaciones, el desayuno es bueno, en general me agrada, ya me he quedado en varias ocasiones y volvería nuevamente.

construction is on going. new room was remodeled but bath and sink areas are not or not yet. 1 elevator was out of order and made it a bit of a wait sometimes to get to the upper floors. breakfast is ok but nothing to look forward to. parking is limited and fills up the lot after 6pm.

I wish they had breakfast meat options - the only protein option they had were eggs. Was looking forward to bacon or sausages, but neither were offered.

In fairness hotel was under some renovations during my stay so it’s hard to comment on cleanliness. The room seemed clean and updated but the bath area was not updated. The breakfast was okay with scrambled eggs and a choice of meat but only toast and packaged muffins, no bagels or English muffins. Oatmeal was available. So breakfast was okay if you’re not into a big breakfast. Overall it’s a good hotel especially if you get a good price.

Springhill suites is doing some remodeling. We had stayed here before and we’re very happy with it which is why we booked again. The front desk when we first arrived was a very nice young man who took great care of us as we were retired. We were out all day the next day, and when we were returned, We found that our room had not been cleaned or beds made up. I had to take our dirty towels and glasses downstairs to trade them out and was told they just didn’t know what happened. The beds were made the next day but again no clean glasses. The beds were very comfortable, and the complementary breakfast buffet was better during the weekdays than on the weekends. Great location.

Safest area to stay in El Paso. Security to monitor parking lot. Hot breakfast selection was great along with continental style options available. Room layout was spacious and comfortable.

I loved the location and the services The water had to be turned off, at first it was supposed to be an hour, then it turned into two and we weren't notified that it turned into two hours.

I didn’t use any amenities the property is under renovation so they have ear plugs and two waters when you get to the room with a note to pardon the renovation. Two of the front desk staff really great and welcoming the others not at all and cleaning staff and maintenance guy were rude and not polite and wouldn’t respond to any kind of hello or anything.

We arrive at 2am and was given 2 different rooms on the 1st floor and both the showered weee very nasty. I took a video and showed it to the front desk guy and he gave us a nicer room on the 4th floor. Thank you.

Breakfast was ok, other Marriott locations have been better. We were in room 218, noisy water pipes, ac was unable to be adjusted so room was hot at night, pillows on the couch were stained, pool was dirty and had lots of leaves in it.

Didn’t appreciate having to pay to park. Very irritating.

I didn’t like that when my husband slipped in the shower went to front desk and got no help. Should have called 911.

The rooms were roomy and nice looking. The air unit was placed at the far end of the room and couldn’t cool the entire space, so it was hot unless you were directly by it. Also they are the only hotel I’ve been to that doesn’t offer complimentary coffee. They even refused to make a pot of decaf at breakfast. So this older lady with a heart condition didn’t get to relax with coffee to start her day. The pool had trash in it from the overfilling can. There wasn’t enough shade, we had our umbrellas and was burning. No towels by the pool even told the front office and in the morning still no towels. The chairs in the pic are those lounge chairs but in reality they are well used uncomfortable sitting chairs which burnt sitting in them unless you had something over it.

Wouldn’t know. We called to let them know we were running late and they said no problem. When we showed up, no one was at the desk and no one answered the doorbell. Paid for a night and didn’t get to stay there. Tried calling the next day and left a message for the manager to call us. Never received a call back. Horrible customer service.

It was convenient for our planned event. The beds were very comfortable There was construction being done at the hotel and even though the hotel was practically empty, we were given a room adjacent to the construction. For the most part during the day wasn’t a problem because we were gone all day but they continued working until after 9 pm. When I contacted the night manager he denied any work was being done. I finally got him to meet me at the room they were working at and the worker apologized. The next night they worked until 8 pm when we arrived at the hotel. Additionally the ceiling on one of the elevators collapsed so the elevator was out of service. Unfortunately the other elevator would not open because the broken elevator door was open. Finally the manager went upstairs and brought down the working elevator. This wouldn’t have been a problem except my wife has a difficult time with stairs.

I stay here every month for business and every time I’ve had stellar service and a great experience. Staff is incredibly kind, helpful and professional. Property is clean and breakfast is yummy! Highly recommend.

My room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced over my 3 night stay. I had to go to reception to grab some . Carpets on the hallways are dirty. I cant believe Marriot allows this faults on the brand regulations.

The only thing I don’t like about the property is a staff They are extremely rude. They did not help me with connecting to the Wi-Fi which I had trouble. Rude customer service not sure why they have people working in places like this

Perfectly set on to way to Tucson. Clean, comfortable and a friendly Staff. Jammed in with a Fairfield Inn. Shared parking and poor parking lot lighting.

Parking requires a $5 per day fee, which despite Expedia showing a "real price" wasn't included, and there didn't seem to be any real reason for this except to make more money and hide the actual cost of a stay as every hotel is required by code to have X number of parking spaces for each room, so it's just another corporate shell game. I doubt that they even bother to enforce it, so maybe that's on me too. Staff was friendly and efficient, no complaints there, and the hotel was clean. I didn't use the exercise room or pool so I can't comment about those.

Even though I hung my towels up to dry, they were replaced each day so not so eco-friendly. Not unique as I find this to be true at most places I've been to.

Our family selected this hotel for family members from out of town to use over a 2-day memorial service. It was a good choice for 4 families including one with 4 young kids, one with a teenager and the other adults. Breakfast, particularly the first day was good. For some reason they eliminated the Chiobani yogurt, scones and blueberries the second day.

The stay was great and the room was nice. I did prepay through booking.com and at the time of check-in, I was asked to insert my card, which i thought was for incidentials. My credit card declined the transaction and since I had to call the bank to clear it, I put in my debit card. They charged the entire stay again to my debit card! I asked why they had charged me again, it seemed like the lady that was checking me in was in training. They told me they were refunding my card. I've been out $640, which was $100 more than what I had already paid on booking.com, on a pending transaction that hasn't cleared for 5 days now. Make sure they are validating your booking.com stay. Also, the breakfast is ok but it was crowded every day so we opted to go elsewhere for breakfast 2 of the 4 mornings we were there.

Loved it! The pool was relaxing, staff made it quick and easy to check in, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

The rooms were very dirty. The first room, there were splatters of something all over the couch and tons of spots on the couch. I have littles that have to sleep on the couch so I talked to the gentleman at the front desk and he immediately moved me to a new room. The couch was cleaner- still a spot on the couch but I thought it would be okay. My kids saw a medicine cup with pink stuff still in it on the back of the TV, there were peanuts all over the floor by the dresser the TV was on. I walked by one of the beds and heard crinkling so I moved the dust ruffle and found a bag of chips spilled on the floor! I told the same gentleman and showed pictures. He took the pictures of the pictures and said he would talk to the housekeeping manager. My kids and I were exhausted, we opted to stay in the 2nd room as the beds at least looked clean and we were exhausted from driving 12 hours. I used to work for Marriott. I was very surprised at the lack of cleanliness. I was also very surprised the only solution offered was to move me to another dirty room- there was no real resolution to the problem and we stayed in a very unhygienic room! Marriott standards definitely were not upheld here!

Check-in was quick and easy I got to the room. There was no Netflix feature on the TV although there was a feature on the remote a shower in the handicap room had bars on it that were not conducive to exiting or entering the shower therefore as a handicap person, I was not able to bathe. It’s very unfortunate Dated room. I’m sure it was really nice when it was built.

Nice hotel, but it is starting to age quite a bit. Needs a refresh pretty bad. Towels are tired, my room had cracked glass in the window, the only elliptical machine in the gym was broken, etc. with that being said, the price was low, and the breakfast/amenities were sufficient for my needs.

The property is well located, close to amenities. However, the public spaces in the building are not clean and the staff not readily available. Overall, we would not recommend and we will choose a different place to stay next time.

Warm welcome, easy to book, large spacious well planned rooms. Bed was ultra comfortable.

The front desk ladies were awesome. They have great customer service, super polite, and just an overall great attitude.

The TV wasn’t working. We arrived late so there wasn’t staff to help fixing the tv. They should make sure everything is working before renting the room. My stay there was very disappointing.

We stayed for one night in the middle of a road trip. The room we were in was run down and dirty. The couch was stained and no one wanted to touch it and it was very uncomfortable for my kids to sleep on. The worst part was that the hotel played their outside music all night long and we could hear it very clearly in our room. It woke us up repeatedly, which was not good because we had a long drive the next day. The bathroom door stuck so bad that my daughter almost couldn’t get out. The guy at the front desk when we checked in was very off putting. He basically handed us our key and that was all. He didn’t even tell us what room we would be in or anything about the hotel’s amenities. We paid over 200.00 for the room for one night and we were so disgusted and disappointed and tired! It was not at all what we expect from a Springhill Suites property.

The room needs to be remodeled. Several tiles were loose and the carpet had stains. Sheets and towels were clean.

The place was great. Nice and fancy looking. Clean. Quiet. Parking was alright. Breakfast was alright. Walmart across the street. And a variety of restaurants very close by. Ate at Leo's Mexican food restaurant, recommended. The price, food, and people were all good. The only thing I didn't like was that I wasn't made aware there would be a parking fee and a $20 reimbursable fee that is mandatory just in case you took something and/or something happened to the room. Would recommend and have and will stay again.

This was a great home base for seeing Carlsbad Caverns to the East and White Sands to the Northeast in one weekend. This was the quietest and nicest place we've stayed at during 5 hotel stays in the last year. We always choose 3 star hotels. Room architecture helped bl9ck bed from hallway noise.0

The sheets and bedding was clean and we were generally comfortable. The fold out couch was very dirty with old food and big stains on the mattress. The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room. I expected there to be two tvs in a big room like that. I wish they had a 2 king bed option vs the 2 queen. The staff was helpful. We really needed to have some things dry cleaned and pressed but were told dry cleaning had staffing issues and were not going to be able to do any, yet they had the paperwork and a bag in the room and offered it online so we expected to use it.

The staff was friendly and breakfast was good!

New hotel. Great design and layout. Excellent breakfast foods. Comfortable bed. Only concern is they went a little cheap on plumbing so the shower wasn't so great.

The room was spacious which was a plus, however the tv wasn’t working. The couch in the living area had huge stains all over it so we did not sit on the couch due to the uncleanliness of it. Staff was amazing. Super accommodating. If the room we had was just cleaner with a working tv, we would’ve enjoyed our stay more.

Good maintenance

Early check in provided. Friendly staff and a good breakfast in the morning. Pool side view, just wish we could have utilized it as it was winter when we stayed. Will definitely book here again.

Comfortable and convenient to shopping/dining options. Room sells musty though.

The place was ok - nothing special. Free breakfast and parking was a plus. The chair in the room was broken along with worn out sofa/bed in living area. The bedroom had lots of wasted space and it could have been better utilized - with perhaps a comfy chair, table and lamp. The whole place needed better lighting. The housekeepers were extremely nice!!

The front desk person was fruendly and helpful!

The morning breakfast was very limited unlike the one at the same hotel in the East. It lacked some basic products like bagels, pastry, white bread and so on. It has two elevators but just one was working. On the positive side, the zone around is quiet at night and stores and restaurants are nearby. Not sure if we will stay again there in the future.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The room was spacious. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Have stayed here multiple times and will continue to stay here when in town.

Excellent service

My experience here was somewhat unpleasant. Our first night here, the light in the restroom went out. I understand those need replacement ever so often. I informed the front desk and they replaced it. The problem with this situation is that the maintenance guy left a mess behind. Next issue: the bath tissue was like sandpaper. I don't need to explain the repercussions behind that (pun intended). Our last night here, there was an issue with the water. The entire area lost water due to some issues in the city. Now I understand that is totally out of their control, but what is in their control is letting the guests know of the issue and asking if we need anything in the meantime. They didn't bother to offer anything. I would call the front desk to ask for updates, and they would not pick up.

The handicap room looked like a hospital room. If someone require a room with walk in shower and a hospital feel then this would be awesome, but I did not requested a handicap room, so I did not find it pleasant.

Very limited parking.

Outdated, room looked worn and dated. Mattress was not comfortable. And they charge for parking???

There was wads of black hair in the shower, dirty glasses in the sink. And it hadn't been vacuumed
