Days Inn by Wyndham Dover Downtown

It was just terrible at check in had to check out 5 minutes after. The carpet was dirty and so were the sheets. The doors were hard to open and they had to break it in. The receptionist was rude and yelled that we were not going to get a refund when we returned the keys. Will not recommend. Had to find another place

Absolutely AWFUL!!! I wouldn't stay at this place if you paid me. Walked to the room, opened the door and was inundated by an ash tray smell except that the ash tray was the entire room as if 1,000 people had been chain smoking for 1,000 years in there non-stop. The room was filthy from what I could see in the 10 seconds I walked in. I turned around and went right back to the front desk, asked for a refund (which they wouldn't give me) and went to a a different hotel. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

Bathroom needed some work on floor tile and bathroom door could not shut. Also leg broken on coffee table. Needs some TLC. Tv needed to be fixed. Walls in living room needs some repairs we

Catfish Hotel. This is not a Wyndham property and I am reporting to them. We did not stay and I am still waiting for my refund. Disgusting property that rents rooms by the hour.

I wouldn’t know I accidentally booked this hotel when I was meaning to book in Dover New Hampshire hoping to get refunded from Expedia….

This hotel desperately needs to get remodeling. I accidently booked this hotel, I didn't look at reviews before booking (I usually never do it). Good things: clean bedroom sheets, hot water in the shower. Everything else was looking super old- furniture, cabinets, all room. Breakfast did not exist. Owned should invest some money in this place if they want to stay in the business.

I couldn't even bring myself to stay here. As soon as I open the door the first thing I seen was dirty hand prints all over the bass of the bed. Then I seen a bug crawl under the mattress so I pull off the blanket to see wholes in the sheets. I asked for a smoke free room and that room smelled of nothing but cigarettes and uncleaned carpets. The door couldn't even lock properly with men hanging outside. I was just passing through and that was terrible. The manager said he wouldn't refund my money because I pulled the blankets off, which someone needed to because that whole bed need to be tossed out with bug and dirt all in it. It is clear that that place doesn't get cleaned and if just for drug addicts and kids trying to get a cheap quickie which lord please dont.... lay down and carry more home then bedbugs....

When I reported these issues and requested a different room, the front desk employee insisted on inspecting the room first. During the inspection, I invited him to smell the refrigerator himself, but he denied there was any odor despite it being obvious to us. My mother, who was staying nearby, came into the room and independently confirmed the smell. The employee initially refused to move us, stating that because we had sat on the beds, the room could no longer be rented to another guest. Only after I began taking photos and videos was another room offered. Unfortunately, the replacement room was only slightly better. It also lacked a smoke alarm and had several maintenance issues, including a broken shower rod, a broken light fixture sitting on a shelf, exposed nails where an iron holder had been ripped from the wall, and multiple bugs. The condition of both rooms and the handling of our concerns fell far below what I would expect from a Wyndham branded property. The missing smoke alarms in both rooms were particularly concerning from a safety standpoint.

The room that I rented had roaches. There was a roach in the bed with me. The towels had hair in them. The tub was rusted and the tv didn’t work.

DO NOT STAY in this horrible place. Pay $10 more and go to a nice place. There is a TV in room but no channels. I asked manager to fix it, she said she would and never did. The sink drain is broken so water doesn't drain and couldn't be used. I asked mger to fix and she said she would and never did. There are cobwebs on the base bed and bugs in the microwave. There was no glass dish in microwave so couldnt turn food. They allow pets in every room but have old, dirty carpet in rooms. The bathroom floor is tile but sticky. The sheets were dirty so I had to put my own blanket on top of bed to sleep on. Cars race on the main road. The furniture is scratched and gouged. The rooms smell moldy and musty, probably because of the old, nasty carpet. Breakfast is bagel or cereal, no cream cheese. The staff is rude and not helpful, they say Yes, yes Ill do it and then do nothing. Don't stay here.

Don’t go there the pictures not the same and the place smells bad and the toilet was sanaged sink was broken and it was just not clean and the fridge was dirty

Room was pretty run down but didn't hear much noise pretty much only there to sleep on race weekend!

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed infested with bugs and priced at $750 for two nights which I could’ve stayed at a decent hotel not this awful place

The cleaning lady was nice. Location was great. The floor to our room was definitely not clean or mopped previously. The toilet was shaking when I tried to use it. Television or phone didnt work bed was bad. Furniture was bad cigarette burns everywhere . No microwave in our room. When we went for complementary breakfast it was bread and cereal. Bed frame/ posts were sticking out from under it on both sides i tripped and bruised my ankle.

The only plus is the staff was very helpul and nice. The property however, is very low quality. My first room before I had to move due to a bathroom issue, had multiple lights that did not work, the refrigerator was not even plugged in, and the TV did not work. The staff again did what they could to help in all cases, but the property is in dire need of upgrades to the rooms.

So we spent the night in the second room with no couch or ability to sit or television. The grounds were so disgusting. There was a previous guest is chicken leftovers in the fridge for who knows how long that we discovered, which I guess was a hidden bonus, but I think it was months old if you get my drift. This is a drug den and my husband found a tick in the bathroom. Don't stay here! I swear I'm not exaggerating. I don't leave reviews like this - ever! My son called me in the morning and said "well, thankfully we survived the night!" and was very serious (he's autistic and is very direct). There was poop smeared on the shower. This is bad.
