    Hair left on shower wall and curtain. Room was damp/muggy. Sheets were wet. Room and hallway smelled. Buildup of dust on edges and corners of hallway carpet. Charged way more than I originally booked the room for with an ADDITIONAL $50 for "incidentals" charged. Nothing was damaged or stolen.

    The breakfast was okay. The sliced pineapple was dry and the food selection was limited. There were no folding luggage racks to hold suitcases off the floor and the closet was too small. Amenities such as bars of soap were skimpy. The window curtains would not close completely and we were on the ground floor.

    Breakfast was ok. Rude/Unprofessional Staff. I booked via online booking.com When I arrived staff told me I had to pay $25 fee per pet. I have two so $50 plus another refundable fee $50. total $100 extra on top of the $120 for 1night i booked online. I never got my $50 back. I was looking for a Budget Friendly Stay. I booked online so i dont have to pay when i arrive. All Thess UNDISCLOSED fees and Rude staff made my stay awful. I was given a dirty room with no blanket/cover on it. Also had a bad stench/smell of Cigarette. I could have stayed at a motel and had cleaner and nicer experience. I had to request a new room. Bad bad $200 total for 1night and rude staff.

    The room smelled like smoke and musty damp. The entire property likely needs a redo. We brought out dog so maybe they put us in the dog friendly room that were gross. I wouldn't stay again but it was one of only two hotels in the area that allowed pets.

    We stayed here for a total of three nights. Overall, the hotel was good. The floors in the room were a bit sticky. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stay here every year for Dupree. See ya next year!!

    We liked that the staff was nice and willing to accommodate us from 2 queen beds to a king size bed. They upgraded our room to a suite although there was a $20.00 charge per night. The entire hotel smelled awful! The room was not well cleaned the couches were nasty dirty and the carpets were also very dirty and the smell was awful. The sink in the bathroom was so far back that I could not reach it comfortably to brush teeth or wash face. I am 5'1" and I don't usually have this problem. There was a maxi pad under the desk against the wall even after they came in to clean the room. When they "cleaned the room" they didn't vacuum or remove washcloths from shower. There was no coffee when we went down (twice). They ran out of gravy and did not replace.

    The room and bathroom was very spacious and very clean! The continental breakfast was stellar: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, bagels, cereals, juices, fresh fruit and yogurt, and best of all, WAFFLES! There was a texas shaped waffle iron that spins to flip over, and another waffle iron that split up the waffles into circles! Gotta love the hot maple syrup and fresh fruit for toppings! Of course ALL of the condiments were present, including whipped cream for the waffles! The bed was too hard for my liking, but wasn't bad enough to lower the score a star since everything else in the room was excellent ?

    Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was clean but bathtub had some hair in it. Lots of banging from the hallway in the morning, and someone next door with a very loud TV that kept me up. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but the pillows were nice. Couldn’t figure out the TV until the last morning so would’ve been nice to have more information than a sticker on the back of the remote (1 of 2). I did not eat breakfast so I cannot comment but it did smell good.

    Horrible issue with conflicting information about what size dogs were allowed at this hotel. Information from Expedia, Bring Fido app, national La Quinta website, and Denton website all different. And when I got to the hotel I was treated poorly from the desk clerk because his supposed paperwork was entirely different from all that I had researched. None of the sites had listed a 60 lb weight limit as his paperwork stated and I have a Great Dane that exceeds that. After having a long exhausting travel day I was almost denied a room although I had talked to the same front desk person the day before and nothing was mentioned about this 60 lb weight limit.     I am very disappinted in this hotel. 2 minutes after booking I realized that I had made a reservation at the wrong city. I immediately tried to cancel and they would not make an exception. Therefore i paid for the room. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but this was not exceptible to me. Im also in management and sometimes you do have to make an exception. Im a regular traveler, and I will not be staying at this La Quinta in Denton.

    The property was nice and you could tell it had been well. Kept. The breakfast was it was good. The problem was the elevator it was out. My entire stay, you had to column, walkie talkies for someone to send an elevator up to you. My bathroom had a leak where water went all over the floor. The mirror in my rooms was crooked the air conditioner. I worked sometime and sometimes it didn't. I just think that there are some maintenance issues that need some assistance

    Upon first arriving,I found out my double queen bed room was swapped for a king bed so my two sons had to sleep on pallets on the floor. Not sure if that was La Quinta's fault or hotelsdotcom, but I booked it 6 months in advance. Then the TV didn't work correctly. Then the elevator went out. Just overall not a good stay. The front desk agent was awesome though and tried his best with all these things that were beyond his control.

    Room was comfortable but the breakfast was not very appetizing. I accidentally dropped my cup of coffee and made a mess. I let the front desk know and asked for supplies to clean it up, but the young man gave me a dirty look and didn’t say a word. I waited and nothing so I just went back to my room.     Price was reasonable but you get what you pay for. The room was small, muggy which felt gross. Everything like bedding and carpets felt wet from the mugginess. We had to keep AC on super high to help with the muggy feeling and smell. Carpets in room and hallway were old and super worn and freyed. The neighborhood seemed a little sketch but we were fine. The staff were not rude but also weren’t very friendly. The rooms worked for this trip but we will not use again.

    DO NOT STAY HERE. We checked out a day early so that we would not interfere with the people smoking things throughout our floor after sleeping on wet sheets. Both Expedia and the hotel refuse to refund us for the night we didn’t use. They prioritize their patrons who don't follow the rules in their rooms over guests just trying to spend time with family in the area. Disgusting. I’ll let the corporate office know of their staff's choices today. And even though I’ve spent about $5,000 through Expedia this year alone- I’m done. They don’t care either.

    They had a good breakfast. I was very disappointed in the WiFi. It was terrible! Only 1 signal. We couldn’t watch tv because it wouldn’t work properly. So there was nothing on that. My son brought his game and we thought we could watch movies on it. WiFi was horrible! The tv needs updating. They are very small. The carpet in there needs pulling up. It’s dirty and holds an odor and out dated. The rooms were really small. We flew in town for a graduation. This was our first time staying at one of these. Probably my last. We were there 3 nights and 4 days.

    This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a motel. Around 10:00 AM, a staff member (who refused to give his name) accused us of missing a coffee pot in the room, which was completely false. When I asked for the key to check the room myself, he refused. There was nothing missing, but he made us wait on purpose. What made it worse was his attitude—he didn’t even show basic respect toward us as customers. The whole situation was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and disappointing. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

    Issues with tv set up and not having the proper remote control for each tv. The team responded when callled that the tv’s were not working. They changed the mode of HDMI, the tv’s came on, but when I turned them on this morning they would not. I called the front desk and no one has responded to get them working. When I went to the front desk, I received an indifferent attitude, but no offer to get the tv’s running. It would appear YOU have a management problem. I have done business with La quinta for 30 plus years, my recent experience since Wyndham took over makes me realize my need to change hotels.

    Not a single machine in the gym powered on/worked properly. I booked this hotel for that amenity so that was very disappointing. I got a room next to the elevator and I could hear the elevator door singing all day and evening. Annoying. Other than that tho it’s a great hotel in a busy shopping area with lots of food and shopping options just minutes away.

    Less than 1/2 mile away on the roof of abandon building several homeless people camped out. Also walking up and down the street near the hotel, but not on the property that I noticed.

    Hotel smelled like chemicals. Floors were filthy in the hallway. Mirror in bathroom interfered with the faucet operation. Front desk staff were wearing t-shirts that looked like they just picked them off the floor. Pool area looked like a cave…..never stay at this place again or recommend this place to anyone to stay at…

    Asked for early check in and they did accommodate but only after the front desk told us we were too early (2pm). Front desk clerk was not friendly, no smile, no greeting; he seemed like we were interrupting his day. No hot water in lobby for tea. Toilet seat in hotel room was dirty. Bed was comfortable!

    Bathroom sink faucet handle hits the mirror, so either mirror too low, or counter too high when installed. Also the the drain plug in sink inoperative. No grab bars in the tub/shower area. But, overall a pleasant experience. 2 tvs in room very nice also. Could be a lamp in corner by sofa/sitting area.
