SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas Central Expressway

The property is nice and clean and the staff is great. The reason I could not give 5 stars is that I heard about every car going down Central Expressway all night.

The room was clean, and smelled clean, AC worked amazing the check was fast. It is about a 20 minute drive to the airport though, but it’s close to a lot of shopping and restaurants.

Located next to the highway and our room faced the Highway, you could hear the traffic noise all night long. Window treatments are too short and do not block the sun. There is a shade cover underneath too, but that is transparent too. Bed was comfy and room was spacious but -Glad I was only there one night because it was difficult to sleep.

The room was spacious and clean but the traffic noise outside was crazy. They drag race up and down the expressway all night.

Was in a nice part of Dallas. I completely underestimated how loud the expressway would be though, at ALL times of day/night. Poor sleep was the result.

Check in was easy and the room was big enough for 3 adults and 2 kids. The trundle bed was a major plus! There could have been more lighting in the main part of the room.

I love that there was a divider in the room so while I was sleeping my husband still have the lights on at the desk and it was blocked off. And didnt disturb me. I also liked the swivel t.v, and the kitchenette set up. And never have I been in such a clean room. Water pressure was poor and only Luke warm water

I got in late (after midnight) and had to switch my room three time because there were plumbing and other issues. My final room didn’t have towels or soap but I was so tired at that point I just stayed. The night manager was very rude on top of that.

The staff member I encountered on Sunday morning was horrible. Unfocused, inept and very unprofessional. She made my stay unbearable.

Horrible front desk service extending my stay. The young lady was ill-equipped to work under pressure and double charged me for snacks that I paid in cash. I found a charge for a same amount on my credit card for $20.

Staff was friendly, we requested cleaning service daily but no cleaning service came on the first day when we arrived back to our room 6:30 pm day two they had just started cleaning the room and bringing new towels. Weird hour to be cleaning ( in the evening) but we were glad to see them show up. Everything else was fine. It was a good price.

The room was very comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a small issue with a squeaky chair and it was handled quickly. Breakfast is good, especially when they put out the biscuit sandwiches. I do not typically care for hotel coffee, but theirs is good AND they put out actual half and half and not the fake creamer crap. We always stay at this hotel when visiting family in this area for these reasons and more..

Easy access from central. Clean rooms. Breakfast fresh. The sad news - our car was broken into over night. The desk help told us the manager would send us a video from the cameras for our insurance but haven't received it yet. There is no parking in line sight of the front desk area. That part was very disappointing after a very clean, restful stay.

My truck was stolen Tuesday evening from the West side of the hotel. Havecameras but where I was parked there aren’t any cameras. Who adds cameras to a property and not cover the whole site. I feel like it’s a theft ring. My co worker had his truck stolen from another hotel just 4 miles south of this hotel.

Excellent mid-price property. Staff was particulary friendly, accommodating and helpful (especially Gerald at the front desk, who helped me get my TV working!) Only major complaints were (1) A/C in my room was extremely noisy, and (2) beakfast assortment was very disappointing.

Water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent. After complaining to front desk nothing was done. Also, the room was not cleaned even though I was out from 8am to 4pm. Second floor room facing highway - it felt like the window was not there. Constant noise from the highway.

First time staying here and loved it. Customer service was excellent, room was spotless, bed was very comfy, and even though I was next to the highway, it was quiet enough that I had no issues sleeping. Great experience and would definitely stay again and recommend!

Everything about this location was on point!! Excellent choice for short or long stay!! The fitness center was not accessible for a couple of days and sometime the elevator floor was scuffed up with foot or rack tracks.

The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful and answered any question that I may have needed help I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again and would receive my family and friends to stay here as well thank you for the stay There was nothing to not like

I ask for full service for room to be cleaned. The bathroom door was not working properly, kept getting stuck. The water from shower were leaking all over restroom floor. The toilet were stopped up. Icebox were not cool enough.

The building itself looks new and has good reviews so we chose this location. However, after we checked in and received our room keys, and we entered the room it was a mess. Trash in the container, melted ice in the ice bucket. Dirty towels on the bathroom floor. It was obvious that housekeeping didn’t alert the front desk. We had to haul our luggage back to the front desk to get keys for another suite!

On top of that, the hotel is located right off a major highway, so noise was a constant issue, especially at night. Overall, the lack of hospitality, basic comfort, and cleanliness made this stay underwhelming. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

Lobby and halls were extremely hot. No air conditioning turned on. Breakfast below average. Front desk clerk didn’t have any idea where to park to access building for handicapped. Ice machine on our floor 2 not working. However the room was very large and nice and rate was reasonable.

everything was good expect for the fact that we went to a concert and carpooled with some friends, came back to their car being STOLEN and no employee called the cops. they have a “security” and he didn’t do anything we told the front desk lady and she didn’t want to give us the name of the manager and kept laughing while talking to us like if it was funny.

The hot tub wasn’t working and no one emailed text or called us to let us know before we arrived and that’s what we were really looking forward to. the room was clean, but the cabinets and woodwork could use a remodel. Very nice breakfast!

My air conditioner did not work, I told the front office and no one ever came. They offered me a new room when I got back in around 12. It was just too late to move and I was exhausted after being on my feet all day coaching!

Everything felt run down with a coat of paint. The linen was stained. He water temp was warm at best. There was a smell of must. It was def not a Marriott style property we are use to. Waste of money!

Hotel is nice-suite room and sm kitchen great. Area very questionable. A sign saying take all valuables from car was a tip off. Used the on site laundry but machines used quarters only. Was told to walk to nearby store for change-not happening in this neiborhood! Hotel needs to update how machines accept payment OR have a $ machine in laundry room OR keep change at front desk.

Then checking out - we were on the 4 th floor leaving at 5:45 AM with 6 bags all weighting over 50 lbs both elevators were shutdown for repairs or maintenance. Thankful the man on duty carried them down for us .

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Kourtney and Matt were incredibly helpful and made my experience so enjoyable. Their friendly and attentive service really stood out. The hotel was clean, well-kept, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to others!

I arrived and my room wasn’t ready. It was around 5pm. We were told to return later. I received a phone call that the room was ready about 20 minutes later. This was after a 10 hour drive to Dallas.
