OK, the room was average at best. The air conditioner was either too cold and freezing or when it’s cycled off the room was too hot. The mini fridge didn’t work so we complained about that they came in replace the mini fridge with another mini fridge that didn’t work, which wouldn’t be a normal concern, but my husband had just had surgery and we needed to keep ice packs cold and it just wasn’t happening so luckily we had a cooler with us and had to fill it to the top with ice to be able to keep his ice packs cold, the staff was accommodating but inept. The breakfast was your average boring, hotel, breakfast and cold.

Really nice staff checked in at 11pm after a long roadtrip and they made it super easy and fast and the room was perfect and clean 10/10 stay

The beds and pillows were very tired and in need of being replaced. Everything else was fine and the front desk staff was great.

The room smelled really clean, the bed was nice and comfortable, after an early morning walk our door stopped working due to weak batteries, the hotel clerk changed the batteries at 4am without waiting for the maintenance crew to do it the next morning, I really appreciated that.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall the property was very well kept. Breakfast was your normal hotel breakfast buffet. The room was just ok. The bed was hard and you could tell it was 2 twin beds put together because my husbands side was lower than mine along with a hump in the middle. Found hair in the shower and on the floor in the corners. Carpet had several stains. The shower was also very slick.

This hotel needs to be updated. It’s showing age. Only one working elevator the 4 days we were there. The location is prime and the hotel should reflect the neighborhood.

Rooms smell a bit musky - probably the carpet is either over used, not cleaned very well or there’s moisture elsewhere. I looked at a second room and it was similar. Stayed 2 nights and the room was not cleaned or made up during our stay. The receptionist was very helpful. We did not try the breakfast but had a look and seemed average. I think it’s an ok place if you’re just looking for a room to stay and nothing fancy.

If you like using yoga mats, I’d recommend bringing one since the gym doesn’t provide them. Overall, the gym was great and I was still able to get my workouts in during my free time. I tend to do more yoga/Pilates-style movements, so I definitely noticed the mat was missing. The gym was clean, although unfortunately the treadmills weren’t working during our stay. They did have a really nice Peloton bike that I was able to use instead. The staff were very friendly, and I would definitely stay here again. Great location as well!

They use free parking passes for outdoor parking and have a "patrol car" that checks in that. And the parking spaces are not wide, if you know what i mean!

I have stayed here many times. There are 2 elevators. Only twice in the last 5 years have both elevators worked. With 5 floors and the number of rooms there, both elevators need to be working!! Not a hotel for me anymore!!

Both were good. Staff was friendly especially daytime staff. I didn’t notice until later but my recipe showed my address as Las Vegas instead of San Angelo, Texas!

Excellent hotel to stay with your family

elevator was out of use, my room wasn’t cleaned during my stay and the fridge had the previous guests food items in it when I checked in.

Parking was easy and accessible! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Breakfast was hot and stayed stocked and the indoor pool was clean and well kept. We spent most of our time there! I’d definitely stay here again when in the area!

The ice maker didn't work and the girl working desk when we checked out didn't care to be there but otherwise the stay was fine and I would probably book again.

Overall our stay was great. The only thing I would have preferred is to have daily service to the room for fresh towels, empty trash, and make beds. Breakfast was adequate and the facility was nice and clean. We didn’t have much interaction with the staff so no issues. I would stay there again but perhaps ask for a minimum towel exchange each day.

I needed a *printed* receipt, but was unable to obtain one at this time, because I had an appointment to be at. I had to phone in later in the day and have them e-mail me one.

It then took the desk clerk over an hour to problem solve and trouble shoot the check in. Once she did she only make the reservation for 1 night instead of the 5 nights. This hotel is extremely incompetent. I have stayed here many times and there is always something wrong. This first time the tomeir was in flushed and there was human feces in the toilet. They only provide housekeeping every 7 days. One stay i was there for over 10 days and never had the floor vacuumed durning that time. The second time i stayed the charging ports and phones didn’t work. The finally time the water pressure was horrible. There is a much.nicer hotel up the street called the mockingbird hotel It’s only a few more dollars more a night. They have housekeeping daily, everything woks and it’s super cute with super friendly staff.and champagne every afternoon Do not stay at tho Hampton or HolyonnGsrden inn . despite not having my reservation for the 3rh- 8th. They have changed my credit card for every night. Now i will probably have to spend three days on the phone just to get the money back. Reports DO NOt Stay here!

We have stayed here twice and loved it. Room size was perfect. Room was clean as was hotel. Easy parking and convenient location. Only issue on first stay was elevators were not working for several hours the night my husband got out of hospital from an outpatient surgery, so he was stuck in the room. There was no note or explanation from hotel until a note appeared at midnight. I understand these things happen, and we did stay there again for postop appointment. Overall very nice and we will stay here anytime we are in the area.

We love staying here! Unfortunately on this visit, we did not have our room cleaned for the entire 3 night stay. They told us we “denied service” which was not true. In addition, our room had some issues with stains on the carpet and a bedside outlet that wasn’t working.

The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good and the wifi fine. My only complaint was that the two treadmills were out of order and the temperature in the fitness room was 76 degrees and no way to lower it. The weigh selection was great. There were two exercise bikes and two ellipticals, and a wonderful pool.

Our room was very clean and housekeeping stopped by almost daily, which is unheard of these days. There was fruit infused water, coffee and cookies offered every afternoon in the lobby, which was appreciated. The hotel is very updated as well. The breakfast had great hot offerings. Regarding the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and there was comfortable furniture. Towels were a bit crispy and the bed linens could be softer, though. The location was convenient to highways as well as shopping and dining. We felt safe in the area. We will definitely seek to return to this hotel on our next visit.

From the moment we arrived everything was cleaned and looked to be very well taken care of. The front desk staff was super friendly. The only “complaint” was the indoor pool was super cold. It might need to be upgraded to have some sort of way to sort of heat the water. The breakfast was top notch. Choices for everyone. Will definitely stay again when we return to Dallas.

The lobby and most parts of the rooms were nice & redone, some parts were a shabby like the lamp shades and bathroom vanity and tub were a little beat up. Only one small trash can in bathroom (none elsewhere in the room), no tissues, no lotion, no water in the convenient store downstairs. It was fine for the cost and it was clean with a nice breakfast. I give it a 3.5, but they don't have 1/2 stars.

BED BUGS!!!! We came home with bed bugs and a rash. Two cars were broken into in the parking lot while we were there one night.

More low carb breakfast options would be nice

Room was clean, but poorly stocked. Accidents happen, but we were only supplied with one wash cloth and a very tiny bit of body wash. We had to request more because housekeeping didn't visit us at all during our three night stay. The morning after our first night, we did have the DND sign on the door, but we removed it expecting housekeeping after two nights, per the signage in the room. The water pressure was absolutely abysmal. Low flow fixtures should not accompany low pressure supply. We had to use our hands to form a dam to collect water on top of our heads in order to get everything wet. On our last morning as we were checking out, we also noticed at least three vehicles were broken into with smashed windows, and unfortunately it looked like it was up to the poor patrons to handle police/insurance claims on their own. Breakfast was a good rotation with different offerings each day. The fried eggs and bacon were our favorite, but the sausage patties and links were good on the other two days. Everything else was pretty typical. The indoor pool was a disappointment since it was not heated at all, so we didn't get to enjoy it. Our absolute biggest complaint was the water pressure in the room though.

Room was clean, but we asked to be situated away from the elevator and were placed at the very first room as soon as you get off the elevator. Thhat didn't make me happy.

The first room they tried to give us clearly had been tampered with. The door knob/door frame on the outside had damage almost like someone tried to pry the door open. There was a huge gap where you could see the inside of the latch without even opening the door. Someone very easily could put something in the gap and opened the door without a key. The second room, the AC/Heater did not work. The room stayed at 70 the entire time regardless of what you tried to set on the wall thermostat. There were stained all over the chair and carpet. The elevator was out 2 different times, once in the evening when we arrived and then again the next morning. The room itself did not feel clean, it was poorly remolded with wallpaper peeling, gaps in the baseboards and flooring, missing caulk, etc. Most of the plugs also didn’t work and were so worn out that our phone chargers wouldn’t even stay plugged in, they fell out because the outlets were so loose. The pillows were useless because even with 2-3 stacked on each other it felt like you were laying flat on the mattress without anything at all.

minor downside being the toilet seat was broken and im not quite sure how that got overlooked while prepping the room. but just a minor inconvenience. it did also take the shower a while to warm up, but it was a cold weekend so that and the number of other guests may be a factor. overall though, things were good enough for my short stay.

The food was not fresh and healthy

We enjoyed the room, and the staff was competent and courteous. The indoor pool and workout room were well-maintained. Overall the hotel was very clean, speciaaly the shower and bathroom. We have to knock off points for the ridiculously narrow parking spaces, made worse by the fact that this particular hotel is a magnet for horrible parkers. We had to twist our bodies into painful shapes to get in and out of our vehicle, and we were fortunate to find no dings or scrapes from the cars parked next to us. Minor points off for configuring the breakfast buffet into a U shape, which seriously limited the number of people who could access any item at a given time.

Walking in the front door, the lobby, breakfast room and common areas were very nice. The room was spacious, and well decorated. However, I was there for three nights and not once did the AC work. The room, for me, at 73-76 degrees was way to hot and uncomfortable. I was never back to the room until midnight or later of I'd forget about the AC problem and the room would be very hot when I returned. Also, the hand soap in the shower was missing. I figure that was OK, the cleaning service would take care of it the next day then I see a message that they only come in every other day. OK, no problem, Friday it'll get replaced along with all new towels. No. They did come in on Friday and I had to leave Saturday morning at 6 am. So at 1 am, in a hot room, with no hand soap in the shower and all towels dirty I packed, selected the least wet towel from the floor so it would be dry in a few hours, and went to bed. Ordinarily I would've called for help, but at mid-night or later every night, and having been gone since 7ish every morning, that to me was too late to get help. I would give this property another visit, but I would be more critical right from the start if I found any room issues.

The bed was not that comfortable. The grout in the shower was moldy, and I saw some holes in the shower tile. The toilet bolt caps were dirty. In addition, the breakfast was not good. I am comparing this to my previous Hampton Inn stays.

This hotel 8s definitely covering up mold with caulk. This placed reaked so bad that i went through an entire can of air freshener. I stayed there earlier this year and it smelled. It was convenient to where and what i needed to do, so thought the first time may have been a fluke. No sir, its definitely MOLD in the building. No more stays there...and if you feel sick, youll know why.

My bill is wrong supposed to be $ 269 plus trip insurance made it $289. It also said free parking, charge of $ 5.00 pulled from card. The whole reason i went with this hotel.

Sink in room whistled like train when in use. Shower floor was scratched and severely discolored. Room spelled musty. Door frame to room was damaged as if jaws of life had been used to open it at one point. Fingernail polish stains all over the room desk.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in the area. Very clean and has all the amenities you need. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided are very good quality, I was impressed. Room was large and had a good layout. I like that it is very close to shopping a restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great! Lots of options not just carton eggs and precooked bacon. Parking was very convenient. Would definitely recommend.

I sent them an email that I wasn’t checking in until the next day since I could make it, when I arrived they said it was a no show and canceled my reservation. They told me I could no longer stay because they were sold out.

Sliding door to restroom was in need of maintenance. Every other day room cleaning , but if you have your do not disturb sign up one day, they will not shift your cleaning to the following day. Breakfast was one of the better ones we’ve seen from a chain hotel.

This is my 3rd visit to Hampton Inn in the last month and this one disappointed me. I had a 2 night stayed and front desk staff would could be a better friendly. Next day left the room early and returned by 2 and the room was bot cleaned. Rest for about an hour and left again, the cleaning crew was across my room. My tought was, I next... return to the room late about 10 pm and the room was not cleaned. In comparison with other properties that I had sttayed recently this one doest compare to the other one. In a couple o months need to return but will select this property.

started off rough, ac not working slept the first night very hot, ac broken. It was fixed at 10am the following day, door lock broken, and Refrigerator broken. Both items fixed by 4pm the next day.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times due to the friendly staff, comfort of the hotel, the clean room and clean bedding, and they provide an amazing and healthy breakfast spread! Always a wonderful stay!

I reserved a king bed and one was not available. They offered two queen beds, which I accepted. When I got to my room, it was a handicap room with the in adequate bathtub shower unit. Had a defective diverter valve and not much water flow went to the spray head for the shower. The sink faucet leaked and water would run onto the floor. The body wash dispenser pump was defective. The bathroom was not as clean as it should’ve been. There were some hair and some dirt and a few spots. They parsley fixed the faucet leak where it did not run onto the floor and installed a new body wash pump.

The hotel is dated and basic and the rate reflected that. We needed no frills and hotel fit our needs - room is clean; breakfast is provided; parking is available and free. They provided room cleaning every other day and ran out of towels when I asked for some on the day they didn’t clean our room. But I appreciated them finding some later and delivered to our room. Would stay again, if we are in the area.

The lounge chair had visible crumbs on it when I first accessed the room. Also, the AC would go off and on and make a “rattling” noise for about a minute at a time. May want to check that out. Good breakfast and helpful staff, though.

I normally stay at luxury hotels, but I decided to give the Hampton Inn & Suites a try. Honestly, it just wasn’t a great experience. The rate was over $400 for two nights, which felt way too high for what you get. The room itself didn’t feel fresh or well-kept. The walls were noticeably dirty, and overall, it just didn’t have that clean or comfortable feel you expect at that price point. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not worth the cost. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The parking spots were way too narrow. No one could fit when opening the doors to our parked car. Was over charged and also room had broken equipment.

Very comfortable and clean room, very quiet space, easy access to many places in Dallas

Our stay was exceptional. Truly a fine representation of Dallas for visitors. We came opening day of the State Fair, and it was packed. The team was ready. From front desk, to house keeping, and breakfast, was by far the nicest experience I had with hotel food prep staff in my years of travel.

The property was very clean and stylish. Our room was very comfortable with a nice walk in shower. The complementary breakfast was delicious. We really like the fact that it is just a short walk to the Walnut Hill station of the DART train station.

This property was overall updated and modern. It was convenient located next to the expressway. Breakfast was also good.

The room had an unpleasant smell. The air conditioning was not the best. The TV didn't have any apps like netflix or youtube. The gentlemen at the front desk was not very friendly. The bathroom was dirty. The shampoo and conditioner were not very good at all.

The room is clean. The only thing is the indoor pool is not room heated. But its ok.

Paper wrap on a coffee stir won me over. Bathroom shower shampoo bottles I believe can be on the opposite side of the water faucet, making it spacious for a bigger person to freely move around without hitting the bottles.

The different cookies several times a week and that the property right next door has a restaurant for dining.

The accessible room where we were first, the shower head did not work properly. In addition to that, there was a roach inside the tub. The front desk was very accommodating and switched our room and comped that night.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good about every single member of the staff there. The breakfast was ample and the kitchen staff kept everything stocked up (and did so with a smile). The hotel was very clean and the soap, shampoo, and lotion bottles were full up. My only ding (and so the 4 stars) is that we often stay in Hampton Inn & Suites and have noticed that they are in need of updates. This one was no exception. Things are nicked, the interiors are dated, the rugs are not quite spotless - Hilton, it's time to update these brand of hotels! Over all, we would stay here again if it wasn't for the need for an update.

Try your absolute best to not stay here. This Hampton was NOT built by quality investors, or run by management correctly in any form. There is a difference between a corporate entity and franchise entity and this property runs below the quality threshold of either entities. If possible stay elsewhere, 100% of the staff act like foreigners and pick and choose who they will delibirately sabatoge. Book directly if you can to receive a survey from Hilton and sink them to the depth of the threshold and they can lose their flag as a Hampton.

Nice, clean, bed was good for this price point

This hotel was okay for the price. Great location for our needs to visit family. However, it is very well used! Bathroom sink was cracked, toilet seat was worn to the wood, alarm clock could not be set, fridge was not working when we arrived and I mentioned it to front desk person. He said he would find maintenance man. I never heard from him. We pulled out fridge ourselves and got it working. It was very hot while we were there and the AC kept up nicely! Breakfast area was kept full and clean!

We were in a walker & cane and asked for a room close to elevator. He gave us a room at the very end of the hall for us to use the exit at the end. But there was no handicap parking, no ramp and difficult for me to get up and down steep step up.

The lady at the counter seems to not kno nothing

Unfortunately, our stay was quite stressful. We had to move rooms three separate times due to air conditioning issues and other maintenance concerns. Each room we were assigned struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, which made it difficult for our family—especially with a child who uses a wheelchair—to rest and recharge between busy days. During our second night, we discovered some leftover personal items under the bed, which left us uncertain about how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Additionally, a false fire alarm prompted our family to evacuate unexpectedly, with my husband needing to carry our daughter down four flights of stairs. Thankfully, it wasn’t a real emergency, but it was a tough experience nonetheless. While some staff members did their best to assist us and offer alternatives, our final room was smaller and not as well-suited to our daughter’s needs. The shower had some issues as well, which added to the inconvenience. We’re grateful for the efforts of the staff who tried to help, but we hope the hotel takes steps to improve temperature control, room preparation, and support for families with accessibility needs.

The rooms were filthy, the furniture was disgusting and it smelled like cigarette.

It was great. The bathtub had some cosmetic defects. I did not get the room cleaned entirely as I had requested. The breakfast was great, very quiet hotel.

They said the pool would be open the next day but it was not and we asked every day and we were told the same thing everytime.

Great room! Spacious. They were constantly cleaning around the hotel. Breakfast until 10 was great. One downside is the app to do laundry. They require you to add funds to an account instead of just billing your card as you use the machine. The machines also had the wrong cost on them.

If I wasn't insistent; I would have been charged twice. Room was ok, not so clean and very tight quarters for a double queen. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Ok stay overall.

I disliked the smell of urine I woke up to. It was definitely coming from the carpet. I noticed it after I checked in, in the middle of the night and early am and the smell of recent cleaned hotel room had worn off. As I only stayed for one night, I did not have time to complain or change rooms.

Stay was ok - just had a strange woman approach our car outside wham we parked outside which was alarming to us and then a straggler charging their phone in breakfast area the next morning from outside

Clean, safe, updated, comfortable

Overall the hotel and room was very good. We have stayed here quite a few times. This time the room had a heavy smell like the air is not fresh.

The front desk staff was not very helpful from check in to check out. Every interaction seemed to be an inconvenience to them. My stay was 5 nights and in retrospect I would select the hotel right next to this one.

Everything was clean, staff really friendly

Staff were nice and room was clean. EV chargers worked and other people respected that those spots were meant for charging. The pool was a bit chilly even though it’s indoors.

The area around the front desk upon entry apparently had suffered a water event, because towels were all over the floor. It did not present well. The temperature in that area, and in all the halls, was colder than necessary. It was hard to read the floor numbers on the elevator panel.

The location of this property was excellent. Our room was very clean. The only complaint I have would be the non working outlets on one side of the bed. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay and would return.

Have had BAD experience staying there. I stay there because it’s close to the Dr office. This stay the water pressure in shower was BAD! Previous stay placed me in an accessible room! Which I did not need!!!!

Very clean. The room was well-designed, with multiple outlets and USB ports. Breakfast was very good, with many options. The only negatives were the desk light bulb being out and the alarm being defective- unable to set the correct time. We were advised to download the Hilton app, which we did, and then to open a link, which did not work (“unable to link with server”).

Very clean, nice layout and design of studio room, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
