Good, clean place to stay when convenience to the airport is important.

The suite was wonderful. I enjoyed staying there.

Quick stay for a layover on a late flight. Room was super nice efficient and clean. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Super easy and helpful stay. I’d absolutely stay again.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is nice to be treated well when you are traveling. It sometimes can be stressful and this hotel takes away any extra travel related stress.

The property was absolutely beautiful - and so conveniently located! Our room was very well appointed. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Our meal was prepared exactly as ordered and it was delicious. The bar prices for wine and spirits were too high. A pour of a mid-level bourbon was more than twice what it would be off premises and the wine prices were about 50% higher than typical. By the time we added the gratuity to our check, we spent over $125 for their loaded hamburger, a salad with salmon on it, a glass of wine and a pour of bourbon.

We had a cancellation of our flight leaving Dallas. We chose this hotel for the location. The price was outrageous but we were desperate. The restaurant stays open until 11 pm. We had buffalo wings and flatbread pizzas. They were excellent. Also service was great too.

For as expensive as this one night was the sheets were so scratchy. Bed mattress could have been replaced

Despite the nonstop stream of guests, they handled every interaction with poise, patience, and precision. They didn’t just manage the chaos, they made us feel like we were their priority. Even knowing delays were inevitable under such unusual circumstances, they still expedited every request they could. Whether it was providing toiletries we couldn’t access in our checked bags, bringing extra towels, arranging an in‑room fridge, or accommodating a late checkout to better align with our rescheduled flight, they ensured we were comfortable and cared for. The only flaw in our stay came from room service, and even that became an example of how well the staff handles adversity. With the hotel and restaurant overwhelmed by displaced travelers, we expected longer wait times. After several check‑ins over four hours, we learned our order had been lost. But the recovery was outstanding. The team remade the meal, rushed it to our room, comped the entire order, and even added a few extras as an apology. Manager Glen personally came to apologize, which spoke volumes about their commitment to hospitality. Breakfast the next morning arrived right on time, was delicious, and the coffee was excellent, a perfect reset. Even with the kitchen’s misstep, the way the staff responded showcased the hotel’s culture of grace, professionalism, and genuine guest care. Considering the extraordinary circumstances, the experience couldn’t have been handled better. The Grand Hyatt DFW team turned a chaotic travel disruption into a stay we’ll remember for all the right reasons.

Everything was above and beyond. We had some strange happening before 1am.. the side bed lights came on several times for several seconds, several times, then stopped for about 15 minutes, then at 1am they came on and didn't shut off by themselves at all. I got up and turned them off a day on several times a day they never ca.e on again that I noticed. It was pretty weird.

This was a perfect location for our one night layover in DFW. The property exceeded our expectations, it has been newly remodeled and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful from checking in and out to ordering breakfast and lunch. The food here was also excellent. After checkout we had several hours until our next flight; there is a very large and comfortable lounge in the hotel where we could relax until it was time to catch our flight We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the decor and lighting in the room and the hotel overall. Would definitely stay here again if I have a layover in Dallas. My husband said he heard people talking and laughing loudly in the hallway in the middle of the night. It seems the doors are not very soundproof. Similar with the bathroom doors. When sitting on the toilet, you hear people talking in the room as loud as if they were in the bathroom with you.

However, my experience late at night was disappointing. I arrived at 10:15 pm and the main restaurant was already closed, with only the bar open. There was no 24-hour full menu service, only a very limited late-night menu that was both unappealing and overpriced. For a Grand Hyatt, and especially for an airport hotel where guests arrive at all hours, this is a significant gap. This is an area that clearly needs improvement.

We arrived at midnight.Service was still excellent. Room is lovely.

Location was great a check in was easy. Very clean and spacious rooms. Elevators are a nightmare. Took forever to get our bags to the rooms secondary to slow elevators. Staff was also trying to cut ahead of us to get on elevators or squeezing into a full elevator pushing us against the side uncomfortably.

Room appointments were outstanding, from the automated shades to all the accent lighting. well done!

We stay at the Grand Hyatt at least 3-4 times a year as we travel back and forth between the US and Australia. This is the first time we have had connectivity problems. We also found the new dining room to be underwhelming and the chairs are ridiculously heavy.

I very clearly asked for a room not far from the elevator. He said it was very close. It was in fact at the end of the long hall. I have three kids and 6 pieces of luggage. Pushing them down the carpet was extremely frustrating as I knew the wheel on one heavy large bag was not working well. We otherwise slept well and the rooms were clean. It’s my third stay in as many weeks. I would appreciate hand pump soap rather than wasting a whole bar of soap for a one night stay. Seems so wasteful.

Location in airport, restaurant, food - all were excellent however - see below When did Hyatt decide to remove cotton sheets and replace with microfiber? Horrendously hot and uncomfortable. Felt like we were wrapped in clingfilm. Could not sleep at all. Another annoying issue - I counted 8 blinking lights in the room when dark (hvac, tv, clock radio, automatic drapes, fire alarm, smoke detector etc etc) that lit up the room like a Christmas tree. A very expensive sleepless night.

The room was absolutely impeccable and awesome. I was disappointed that when I walked up to book the room, she gave me the on-site price which was $80 cheaper than Expedia. Other than that, it was great.

Property is dirty and not well maintained. Staff are rude and condescending. Although they don’t tell you before you book, the hotel is under construction. Major work being carried out. Loud banging and drilling going on all day long. To be avoided.

Due to delays, we missed our last flight connection and was able to book a lovely room at the Grand Hyatt in Terminal E, and the airport tram was easy transportation. We didn't have our luggage so reception kindly provided a 'kit" including toothbrushes and paste, plus the shower was very nice for weary travelers. Staff was great and we had a tasty late dinner in the bar lounge, which was still open. We had a very early check-out so didn't try breakfast, which wasn't included in our rate anyway.

We were put next to ice machine and it was noisy - not just when people used it but all night long

So for this one night bomb, I paid full price of close to $600. I know I am transient so my concerns were dismissed. This is not Hyatt Grand, but a Grand Hyatt Fleecing!! They should be ashamed -

Property is undergoing large renovations so watch for noise. Suggest call them first and ask for a room away from construction if poaaible. Also they shut all water off todau from 7am-4pm. They dont tell you this when booking room or when checking in. Staff friendly and doing what they can

Lots of renovation which makes lobby, restaurant, and bar kinda blah. But the service remains excellent and access to airport by elevator makes this place an easy choice.

The room was spacious and well equipped. It was great to have a massive window. The window blinds raise automatically when you emerge the room. There is a pool deck on the roof. Great for spending some time watching planes. The lobby & bar/restaurant was undergoing renos during our stay. A make shift bar area was set up in a Conference room. However the service was great and we had a lovely cheese board.

Hotel was great, especially the location right in the terminal. Took the stress out of our early morning flight knowing we did not have to worry about driving in early morning traffic. The one issue I had was finding the hotel. There are signs indicating where it is, but very hard to follow given the complicated roads weaving through the different terminals. I also was not aware there are 3 different Hyatts on DFW. Went to the wrong one first. Then had a very difficult time finding the right one. You have to park in the D Terminal parking and then use the bridge on the 3rd level to walk across to the main terminal. Once we figured this out everything went smoothly. More signs or a email message with instructions would be helpful.

They had construction going non but at night when we were trying to sleep. Like 11:00 pm. Had to call security hour and a half later it stopped. Everything else great.

I love this property as long as I’m not put in the conference room with the Murphy bed, which has happened twice in my four stays there.

The lobby and restaurant under reconstrution (for another month or 2) so had to pay additional $30. for room srvice ( or could have eaten off reduced menue in basement conferencd center which wasn't inviting. Still love the Hotel & staff).

It was under remodeling so very confusing. But to make all the plans for pick up for my flight and then be stranded? (i need wheelchair service. I had never had trouble before) The front desk girl had to take me down to the airport! She was very kind. But construction work should not affect the service i kexpect from a Grand Hyatt.

We arrived and the electricity was out in multiple parts of the property. After hours of waiting, we explained we could not get ready for a 5am flight without electricity, so they finally moved us into a room with electricity. Lots of construction and had to wade through plastic barriers on the elevators to access the rooms

The Grand Hyatt at DFW is great, especially if you like watching airplanes take-off and land. I had a runway view with a huge window and could just sit there to my heart's content. The restaurant is very good, though a little pricey like most airport restaurants. Connected to Terminal D, so since my flight was out of D30, it was super convienent.

The property is connected directly to the airport and the link option for transportation makes it easy to find your terminal.

Service was excellent and the property was very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our dining experience was great - wonderful service and atmosphere. We would have liked to see more variety in the dining options and price range on the menu, however all menu items that we ordered were excellent.

Shame I couldn’t stay longer

Everything is great; however, if you have small children it is a little difficult. Mainly the room did not have a fridge to use to store children’s juices. It has a stocked mini bar. The convenience and concierge service was amazing.

Very nice hotel, amenities, location. The beds & sheets were so comfortable. Clean bathroom with wonderful Balmain products. Easy check-in & check-out. I love that it's right there with DFW. So convenient.

A quick layover to catch an early flight. The convenience of not having to leave the airport is definitely worth paying a bit more. Staff were friendly and helpful.

So convenient to walk from international terminal straight to the lobby. We requested a roll away and it was waiting for us at the room as requested. Well appointed room. Significant dust was our only concern due to dust mite allergy.
