The staff was friendly The fact that you have to turn on the ac for the smell to go away is unreal, imagine every time you get out the room you have to take your room key because they provide you only 1 key, for you to come right back to a room with a uncomfortable scent. Construction was happening in the building or building next door, but was annoying because we wanted to rest. I tried canceling my stay they didn’t allow us to, so we suffered the remaining stay. They did change room for us, and I appreciate the effort of doing so, the cleaners was loud in the morning as we was still sleeping. Breakfast is noted 3/10 But overall the only good part about it was the front desk, because they wanted to provide the best service they could but I could tell they couldn’t bypass certain things. I hope you guys make better efforts so you won’t lose your so call 4stars.

Location is just perfect. Clean room, varied breakfast. Indescribably patient and kind staff from reception, restaurant to SPA. Thank you for front desk help in communication and understanding why our flight reservation was canceled twice, at least we made it....

a perfect place to stay !

It seemed impossible to shower without spraying water all over the whole bathroom with how it was set up. And the drains were so clogged that it took a while for the water to go down. On top of that, the water seemed to rapidly fluctuate from scalding hot to very cold which made showering a bit unpleasant.

The pool top view was awesome, and the afternoon tea each day was a bonus. Our room had a nice view down to the sea. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. Very handy to many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores. (Also a number of Pharmacys across the road and around the corner!) The room was a little noisy being on the 5th floor and on the corner. Noise from scooters and cars into the late night during, Sunday through to Thursday nights, earplugs helped. Could also hear noisy neighbours on the first night talking till very late, was disappointing.

We had a wonderful time. Everyone. There went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. And set up any the trips or taxis. We could not stay any longer. That's the only problem we could have stayed for months. We love this place.

Overall beautiful

Super location - 2 blocks from beach. Dozens of restaurants within one block, covering over 15 different ethnicities of cuisine. Nice rooftop pool and afternoon tea. Super breakfast. Couldn’t have found a better value.

It’s a stunning hotel with tons of food, shopping, and public transport in the basement. Our AC wasn’t great so our room was warm.

Excellent location. Not right on the main strip but only a few blocks from the beach and very close to some excellent coffee shops and restaurants. Staff was very professional and welcoming. We also got massages in the hotel as they had a really good deal running, and they were quite good as well. Breakfast was buffet style and had options for everyone. Really impressed. Can't actually think of anything.

This is a beautiful property. For some reason I was upgraded to the Presidential Suite and OMG - what a place. The balcony alone was huge with amazing sea views. The suite was stunning and the staff were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was quite vast with many many options. Location wise it was an easy short walk to the beach. We booked this hotel based on the reviews and the photos. We paid $195 per night for a luxurious panoramic view room. When we arrived they let us into a moldy rusty dirty room. Nothing like the pictures. The “panoramic windows” were so dirty you could barely see through them. When we complained they showed un another similar room on lower floor with mold and rust and old furniture. I’m not sure how any of it qualified for a premium $195/night room. More like $40. To be honest the whole hotel was nothing like the feeling you get from the listing. The hotel listing is highly misleading. Heavily photoshopped/ai-processed images of rooms as well as hotel interior. I’d say we were scammed. We didn’t stay there and they retained 50% of our money. They basically stole $480 from us.

Overall, the staff is smiling and trying to be polite. Unfortunately, we encountered several problems with the hotel regarding the level of service. Lack of soap in the room, towels that were long overdue for a refresh, late check-in, and when we received the keys to the room, despite being promised, they forgot to bring us our luggage. But the staff is smiling and courteous and makes a great effort to bridge the gap. The breakfast is not in line with the standard of the hotel as it is defined. There is no coffee machine at breakfast and if you want coffee - you have to pay for it. We find ourselves finishing breakfast and going to a nearby cafe for coffee. Any hotel that defines itself at such a star level, and also at a not particularly cheap price, provide free coffee to its guests. The service at breakfast also did not meet the needs. You have to take the cutlery yourself from the waiters' stand, the tables are not set.

The room was quite comfortable. Good air conditioning and WiFi. I used the spa services, particularly their full body, foot massage and shampoo services. It was heavenly. The breakfast options were incredible. We only spent one night, but it was a delightful respite. Close to the beach, we enjoyed the cool breeze and our smoothie drinks. Having a clear glass window between the bathroom (by the toilet) and the bedroom seemed somewhat strange. Good there was a curtain that could be drawn over the window for privacy. We asked for the front desk to arrange for us a river ship to better view the Fire Breathing Dragon Bridge. The staff were great in arranging for it, but in the end, we found it was not worth it. Our view was obstructed by other boats and the whole thing lasted about 5 minutes. Not really worth the effort.
