    The front desk attendant was really friendly. We’ve dealt with her several times and it was nice to see her there again. The AC was cold; Room was decently clean. The hallway was hot, the lobby was hot, the pillows were tiny compared to the last 4 times we stayed. There was no trash can in the room and the ice machine was broken. There was also a rat box in the room, the balcony door was unlocked, and the pullout couch was ripped in places. We also had some crumpled towels which seem peculiar and there was a sizeable gap at the front door of the room that seemed unsafe. Our neighbors were also super loud all night.

    The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Stains on the carpet floor and an older hotel; however, the kitchen staff, cleaning staff, and the check in/check out staff made the stay special.

    The room we were assigned to smelled musty and like pets had been in there. The staff was quick to reassign us to another room that was very pleasant (and next to where other family members were staying). The staff, including housekeeping and maintenance folks, were very friendly. Our TV screen was only lit on the right half of the screen. I reported this to the staff the first night we were there (we stayed two nights total), but the TV was not changed out. Also on the second morning, I went down the lobby at about 7:30 am and the complimentary coffee was lukewarm.

    In my humble opinion, I truly enjoyed the stay. There’s not a lot of negative. Other than the breakfast was expensive n definitely not enjoyable. For $26.00 I could have a bad ass breakfast at Andy’s kitchen just saying. N the bar was not stocked properly, you should always prepare especially for a long weekend as it memirial weekend. But staff was great. Thank you. Will be back in September for training.

    We stayed there while we visit the Third Coast Church which was also an amazing experience and event. The hotel rooms were very clean, quiet, comfortable, and had great customer relations with Sandra who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful while we stayed there on the 27,28 of March. We will definitely return to see Sandra she made us feel at home especially when it came to the kids. The hotel is near restaurants, shopping centers, very convenient, near A&M university, and beach etc. thank you 😊 be blessed

    The exterior & interior of the hotel was great. Well lit parking area & the lobby had a great atmosphere. U fortune tel the hallway from the third floor was hot & humid. The room was great except for the roof area where the soffit llights were the ceiling paper was peeling & the exhaust fan in the restroom wasn’t properly installed leaving a gap. It rained our last morning there & the tv signal kept buffering. Other than that the stay was great & customer service was awesome.

I had to stay as I don’t drive at night and had to find arrangements for the rest of my trip. I wasn’t the only one who left due to the conditions

    Check-in was good, but once coming into the room and setting our stuff down we saw there was cosmetic damage in our room. Sat down on the bed and 3 HUGE roaches came out from underneath the pillows. Needless to say I couldn’t sleep, and had to be up at 5:30 am. Will not be returning, never again.

Not like Corpus is a bustling metropolis…not even half the parking places had cars in them the whole time we were there. No continental breakfast. Will not stay there again.

    We booked connecting rooms and when we arrived none were available. We wanted to change one room from a king size bed to one with double beds, and none were available. Personnel were very friendly, but the condition of hotel was not up to par. Ice machines were broken on two floors, hot coffee was not available at the Starbucks bar, only iced.

    Area is very commercial and dense with cheap shops. We thought we were going to a beach town, not this hotel - this is off a city freeway. Staff was nice untill we complained about the pool not being open. The pool is why we booked the place, it was all we wanted after working all day. They kept saying it needed to be swepted but it never opened, it was green. We ask for a refund on our second night but they said it was after 4p, so no. We had just gotten off work, this was our second night of no pool. We left to go somewhere else.

Staff was nice untill we complained about the pool not being open. The pool is why we booked the place, it was all we wanted after working all day. They kept saying it needed to be swepted but it never opened, it was green. We ask for a refund on our second night but they said it was after 4p, so no. The pull out bed had a large brown stain with no extra blankets in the room for the pull out bed. The ottoman for the pull out sofa bed was stained as well.

    Everything with just fine except there was no breakfast included even though the apps description states that breakfast is included. That is a very important factor for me since I enjoyed a good breakfast in the morning. I would suggest you would change your description of the property to meet the actual property offerings.

    The room was clean, the food was decent on the breakfast menu. We tried to report a belt that we thought we had forgotten, but just recently found so I notified the hotel of that.     The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly but likely understaffed. The pullout sofa in the room was disgusting and the hotel only had two top sheets to offer for bedding. We received vouchers for our breakfast but it was very busy and took a long time to get our food. The staff was doing the best they could to keep up.

    Bathtub didn’t have a stopper. No microwave, no hairdryer. Ice machine didn’t work, looked like the hotel was in the middle of renovation. Reserved online for 3 nights, we left after the 2nd night. The lady at the front desk said I needed to call Expedia to get comped for the 3rd night? Overall , it was not a good experience especially when we drove almost 400 miles to get there!!

    Overall this was a good stay. A few things I did not like was that the description said there should be a microwave in the room. I booked two rooms. One for my family and another for my parents. My parents had a microwave but I did not. The staff just explained that they don't have enough for all the rooms. I understand that it’s not something that is an option at this time but when someone pays specifically for a room that includes something, I expect it there. Thankfully my parents had a room with one but if they didn’t, then best believe the staff would be bringing one up for me. So for any people looking into this location, maybe call beforehand to ensure they add that in the room. The shower looked like it maybe needed an update but overall the room was very clean. It was big and spacious. Everything worked great. The TV was a bit hard to figure out because of the two remotes but eventually we figured it out. The location is not terrible but the surrounding areas look a bit ghetto. The two hotels next to it looked trashy but it’s very close to HEB and gas stations and food! Which I loved. The staff was friendly! When we checked out the staff was so sweet! Overall pretty happy with my stay! For the price and just for one night, it was a great stay!

    The front desk clerk and manager were very rude. The clerk was extremely unprofessional at check in and did not know what she was doing. I am easy going so this wasn’t a bother until there was a BIG issue with our room and she didn’t care and acted like we were bothering her. She just says “well, do you want a refund we have no rooms available”. The main unit in our room was blowing hot air. There was a portable ac unit in the room they were using to try to “fix” the problem. The portable unit was okay with me but the main wall unit was blowing very hot air even though it showed off which was a fire hazard and made the room very hot. She didn’t believe us. She tried to walk into the room while I was bathing my daughters. My husband blocked her so he could make sure we were decent. Her manager made her deal with it which was also unprofessional as the clerk then went on to say that he assaulted her. She shouldn’t be walking into rooms without making sure it’s okay. Her manager should have handled the situation as she was definitely not competent to handle issues. The cops then showed up where my husband had a conversation with them and they agreed with the room being hot but the manager still wanted us out so we had to leave. We had to drive back home 3 hours at night with our kids trip ruined since there were no hotels available anywhere in corpus. This was not okay and I expect a full refund. The staff there needs to learn how to handle issues appropriately.

    The reason to book this place was the brand name MARRIOT, living in this country sine 2003, travelled through east, west, north and south, never went through such a terrible situation. The front desk person was very unfriendly, felt like the property might be her own one, and even if that belongs to her she shouldn’t behave so unfairly. The first room allotted 103, was so stinky, un breathable and bed sheets dirty and looks like didn’t cleaned well, and moved to 2nd room 222, after getting their found out that A/C was not working and to call the front desk the phone was not working, and I went down stairs to inform and got a 3rd room finally 203, was tolerable even though TV was not working and I felt ashamed to complain to front desk because of her previous attitude! We checked out around 8:30 am and morning front desk lady was very friendly and behaved respectfully. We never had such a bad experience in past 22 years in this country, we stayed couple of times in MARRIOT in another states and many other places. The point is only to bring our concerns and it should not happen to anyone, thank you

Then even thought it was VERY empty they put me (single female) way down at the other end of the motel. Manager and front desk dressed in hoodies and unkept and very rude. I gave my key cards back within and hour and said I wouldn’t be staying there. They told me no refund, which was disappointing. Fine. Whatever. But it shows I didn’t check out until after 2am. So…bad experience all around. Who knows what they did with my room after I gave the keys back.

    - Expedia incorrectly listed the property as having a mobility accessible room with a sofa bed and bed available. The room I was given had ONE bed and no sofa bed. - when I brought this up with the staff, the attitude they gave me was discourteous and unhelpful. They implied that I was lying about needing a mobility accessible room when I asked to change to a room with 2 beds, and asked several times who needed this amenities. Then courtyard staff said Expedia needed out to resolve the issue of changing the room, as that was the only way getting a different room could happen. The attitude of the staff was unhelpful and their implying that I didn’t need a mobility accessible room at the front desk, in front of other guests, was unprofessional and unacceptable. -when Expedia reached out courtyard to resolve the matter, courtyard staff refused to answer the phone. Expedia tried calling for several minutes, while I sat freezing in a room with one bed and a heater that did not work - the low temp for the night was 29F - I eventually left the room and hotel, and was of there for less than an hour. I am thankful Expedia was able to secure a partial refund. The manner of the staff was horrible and something I have never encountered before. If when booking the room online, documentation is required proving why a mobility accessible room is needed, I happily would have done so online.

    Stayed for two nights. The hotel room was outdated. Very dim lighting in the rooms & there was not a full body mirror in the room. The only mirror was the restroom mirror so inconvenient for two people to get ready at the same time. Also they kept making excuses that they had a skeleton crew working so they didn’t have enough towels & they weren’t sure if they could clean the room upon request due to short staff. The air con vents were also full of dust. Stayed on the first floor so not sure if it was just my room or all the rooms.

    This is our favorite place to stay in Corpus. We have tried several other newer places, but the comfort and quiet doesn't compare. This Courtyard Marriott has better, more comfortable mattresses. They are not too soft or too hard. They are just right. It is always clean and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.

    The kids got in the pool and every single one came out with cuts on all toes did to sharp rocks told management said it was gonna get vacuumed the next day so went back to check the next day late evening and they still didn’t clean it plus roaches mold in bathroom phone in room wasnt connected didn’t have no cord I guess it was just for decoration food is OVER PRICED NEVER WILL I STAY HERE

    Roaches among the room/hallways. Ac was great in my room! The bed was comfty to me. The sofa beds NEED to be upgraded. The mattresses are about 10yrs old or more sith lots of stains. Cleanness was good. I dont agree with breakfast charges/pricing.

    It wasnt a great stay. 1st we get to our room and we found women's underwear on the side of the bed. The next thing was that there was no bartender available. We wanted to stay in. Other than that, everything was good.

    Bathroom was a little funny… the room was handicap so walk in shower and very accessible. Water did run out of area though. Room was clean and AC was on so it was very nice and welcoming!

    We notified the front desk shortly after checking in that we had to return home for an emergency and could not stay the night. Since we had not used the room in any way, I thought that we would/should not be charged. However, I was told that I would be charged. In my opinion, this is poor customer service and poor business.
