Quiet area and easy access to shopping, restaurants, and only a 10 minute drive to health clinics and hospitals in Iowa City. Friendly staff, adequate amenities, free parking. Breakfast was hot and always fresh.

We arrived late, around 12:30am, after calling the hotel to let them know. When we got there, we had to wait over an hour for the front desk clerk to come and check us in. We went all over the hotel looking for someone, and when he finally showed up, he was high. Also, when we went to take a shower, recognized they gave us no bath towels. I stay at Fairfields all the time. This one was terrible.

We didn’t stay! Expedia wouldn’t let us change our arrival date, just decided to keep the money they charged us. I cannot rate the property. The front desk agent was very nice. I also cancelled these reservations so I do not understand why I would be asked how my stay was. Do better Expedia!

Place could use some re-freshing.

AC didn’t work. Called front desk and they said they would be right up to fix. Instead I researched it and fixed it myself. Called the front desk and they stated they got too busy to help. While fixing the AC found cat/dog food around the AC and desk. Paper was peeling on bathroom wall, and rust in the bathroom. For $175 I would expect more.
