-
Great location close to most restaurants-but very expensive.
-
Very minimal breakfast

Each staff member we encountered were super friendly, helpful and well organized in their jobs. The bartenders were engaging with the patrons, which was nice. Breakfast was good, especially the grits!
-
Convenient to restaurants No chair in room, just a stool to watch TV - I have 10 screws and 2 rods fuzing my spine, so I was u comfortable when in the room.

The location is perfect for visiting Charleston! We were very pleased with everything.

Was a lovely experience and beautiful hotel

The Palmetto Hotel was a great place to stay at! It is located next to several great restaurants and close to the water. Our room was very clean and the room service was wonderful. The staff was so nice and helped us have an amazing stay!

After driving nearly 300 miles, that’s not exactly a warm welcome.

We loved our stay at the Palmetto!! Right when you walk in the staff greets you and the hotel just smells good! There are always drinks in the lobby- water and sweet tea! The room was exactly as pictured and the staff serviced the room multiple times a day which was very nice! The breakfast was minimal but what you’d expect for a continental breakfast- fruit, grits, pastries, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and yogurt parfaits. Would’ve loved to see some bagels and cream cheese or bacon or sausage but we had breakfast at the hotel 3/4 days of our stay so it was good enough to keep coming back! We also had several cocktails at the lobby bar: definitely try their espresso martini it is top notch! Overall we had a lovely stay and would certainly stay there again! Definitely recommend if you are thinking of booking!

Small boutique hotel, room was small but well appointed, could have used a dresser or more closet space. Continental Breakfast in lobby was quite nice. Staff and location very good!

Great location, very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful hotel, by far the best I’ve ever stayed in.

Great

Well decorated, excellent location Housekeeping was not thorough. One night they didn’t even come by the time we got back at 5 PM. Another day they did come but didn’t do a thorough job - bed untidy, room in general disarray. Our first night the roof started leaking in the bathroom and I tripped on the puddle, which is a big deal at 7 months pregnant. The AC was out in our room when we got there. We didn’t get any sleep. They fixed it all the next day, which we appreciated. The valet didn’t offer to help with bags or open the door. The breakfast was stale. These are fundamental things that basic hotels understand. Lacking these basics are particularly disappointing when you are paying close to $600 a night.
