Great experience, helpful staff, would stay here again.

Coming in the two front ladies were so nice and welcoming as well at check out. The hotel looks like it got remodeled so it looked clean and up kept. My only issue was the lamp shade in our room was dirty like coke was poured over it and our tub was also dirty looking and rusty . Was surprised since the rest of the hotel looks updated but seems the tub was skipped. Other than that everything else was good. Breakfast was good and the pool had clean towels to use.

Staff is welcoming. Clean atmosphere. Spacious room. Only thing that bothered us was the rattling of the AC when it would turn on & the connection outlet. We had a baby and he kept going towards it since it was visible. Definitely staying here again & would recommend it to family and friends.

Hotel and room was great. Check-in was great. I showed my support animal card for my dog and all was well. We paid for a late check out and went to the store came back and front desk was harassing me about my pet said we need to pay the pet fee of $75. I advised he was a service animal and she continued to be rude asking what service he could provide. I chose not to argue and advised the bentos he contacting the manager.

Elevator wasn’t working, check-in wasn’t friendly or helpful, air conditioner was loud and bedding for hide-away was missing.

Room didn’t have bedding for the sofa bed, and we had to retrieve it after we didn’t realize it at bedtime. Everything else was great!!

Room was very dated and run down. Pool and hot tube weren’t available at all. The staff members were very rude especially when asked about when the Pool and hut tube may be available. Huge hole in the ceiling in main floor. I would not recommend at all.

The elevator did not work. Waiting on the part. My room was on the third floor, so it was up to me haul all my stuff up three flights of stairs and down the next day. No help, no offer. It under construction. Not well kept. Extremely disappointed for a Holiday Inn. Stay at the Hampton Inn across the street.

Upon check-in, we were assigned a third-floor room, despite all elevators being out of service. This information was not disclosed prior to booking or arrival. After driving more than four hours, we arrived around 10:00 PM and had no choice but to carry all of our luggage up three flights of stairs. The stairwell situation raised significant safety concerns. One stairwell was closed due to repairs, leaving only a single stairwell accessible for the entire building. In addition, maintenance supplies and materials were stored in the stairwell, creating unnecessary hazards. Throughout the stay, the hallways had a strong paint odor, which caused me to develop a headache. The hot tub was also not operational, further reducing the amenities that were advertised and expected. The following morning, we had to be up by 5:00 AM and again carry our luggage down three flights of stairs. I have ongoing back issues, and this resulted in painful muscle spasms. With proper disclosure or accommodation, this physical strain could have been avoided. Given the lack of prior notification regarding inoperable elevators, limited and unsafe stairwell access, ongoing construction and paint fumes, and non-functioning amenities. I believe a rate adjustment or partial refund would have been appropriate. I would not recommend nor will I be staying here again.

Large room, clean, great location and value for an overnight stay. However, the dumpster was emptied at 6:15 am and was loud! Had to have woken up a lot of folks!

Though the room inself was nice, updated and clean, the bathtub did not have enough water pressure to allow the shower to come on and was lukewarm at best. We asked the front desk to comp or discount our stay and they said they could only comp a second night......we were going home that day so it did not help us. They did end up calling up to our room and letting us use one of the neighboring rooms to go and take a shower. This hotel is going through renovations, but the shower issue should have been fixed before guests arrived.

Elevator was not working! Selling a bottle of water for $3.25 a bottle was pretty unreasonable. Other hotels give it to you. I don’t expect anything for free but I do expect not being gouged!!

Great place to stay

The hotel is a great place to stay and close to restaurants. Unfortunately, we did not have a restful stay because of all of the noise from the room above us. Very loud feet noise until late and starting early. But we do understand that there’s really nothing the hotel can do about things like that.!

I booked the room for my 80-year-old parents who were taking a trip with my son, age 12. My dad was unaware of the pet fee and told the employee he would not book this hotel again. The hotel staff was emotionally unable to handle money comments from an old man and canceled their reservation on the spot—and told them if they ever came back, he would call security on them. My son was so upset over how rudely the employee spoke to his grandparents. We have relatives in the area and travel at least monthly. Not only will I never stay here, I hope you won’t either. It’s unthinkable to refuse to allow 80-yr-olds to use their paid reservation just because they think the cost is too high. Absolutely unthinkable.

Clean room it was alittle rust in the tub other than that it was good.

We stayed at room 306. I think it is because of the AC filter that was not well maintained. Every time we get back to the hotel, the room smells like dirty feet. The stairway AC also has the bad odor. Our shower room, above the shower tub, had molds.

Great place for a night stay. Plenty of eating and shopping places close by. Breakfast was delicious and everything was clean. Awesome customer service.

We had to move at 1 am to another room because the ceiling started to leak badly. Then, next night we couldn't sleep because a dog barked all night in the room just in front to ours. The hotel management wouldn't offer any kind of compensation.

Nice n clean

Room was hot when my 6yr old son and i checked in. I stay at hotels often for work and travel.

The staff was super helpful. I had booked for a wedding and they did everything possible to ensure I could get into my room and ready in time for the wedding. They really went above and beyond to help me out.

Property is about due for an update

I would never stay at the property again. The AC is my room was not working and it was so hot. The manager said since it’s so cold outside the AC’s don’t keep the rooms cool. I told I have been sweating all night. I didn’t pay almost $200 per night for a hot room. I filed a complaint and they said they would credit me for my room but now they don’t want to do that because my room was non-refundable. The internet is slower than a snail. Don’t waste your money staying at this hotel. Bad hotel.

Horrible place. The lady at the front desk said that she didn’t have the two queen beds that we booked for and said we could go to another hotel. She finally realized she had our room. Upon entering our room, we realized how hot it was. We tried to adjust the AC but it would not blow cold air. I called the front desk and she said she cannot do anything about it until tomorrow. How are we supposed to sleep in a hot room? This should’ve been checked by the housekeepers. I want my money back for this stay. This is unacceptable! I paid good money for a rom that I could get some rest in but it’s been a bad experience. Since I can’t get what I paid for, I want a full refund.

This hotel is ultra convenient. The breakfast buffet is really nice and has a good selection. The check in was fast but the desk clerk seemed a little frazzled. Rooms are huge and have good amenities and clean. Overall a very nice stay once again. Will come again

Check in staff was great. Got back to room and at 2-4 am a guest kept us awake slamming doors, screaming, yelling and carrying on. Called front desk only to be told they can’t do anything. One week later I’ve been overcharged $250 by this hotel. Had Orbitz step in to help. I’ve never had this much of a problem with a hotel.

Also, our coffee maker would not dispense hot water. 😩😩

All my luggage was stolen from yhe parking lot. Staff wouldn't let me see the security cameras.

Comfortable beds and nice hotel!

Check in was smooth, the customer service was exceptional. The Hotel was tidy however the halls smelled of wet clothes and the day manager the next day was rude and threatened to refuse to serve us breakfast although I had my 3 small children with me because I had no shoes on and didnt know you couldnt be down there with no shoes and there was no signage anywhere. I did go and get shoes but no matter who you are the approach is whats its about. She was RUDE!

Didn’t get a peaceful sleep because of a dog that was barking aot at night.

Me and my family really enjoyed the night we stayed there, my only complain is that the window roll up blinds didn't work, but besides that we had the rest we needed and a good breakfast. as a bonus the morning personal was very friendly.

The room was very nice and bed was comfortable. However, the bed was entirely too tall since I am only 4'7". I had to use the chair to get on the bed.

The staff were not very friendly or helpful. When we arrived there was no one at the desk, and when we needed something no one was ever at the front desk. We found a roach in our room. Pool was not that clean. Only thing good here was the breakfast.

Well first of all there were dead bugs in the room it was dusty mirror was dirty and they put me in a room where the top of the hotel sign was so that was our view after I asked for a gd room and the rate was higher than when I arrived and the front desk clerk had an excuse for everything will not be staying there again

Here's my summary: PROs: * Excellent, friendly, responsive service * Well-lit parking lot * Plenty of nearby shopping and dining, some of it accessible by walking * Spotlessly clean * Breakfast buffet had a good selection * Noon checkout * Comfortable bed, chairs, desk * Europlug outlets (Type C) available CONs: * Shower head was at my eye level (I'm 6'1"). * Hot tub wasn't heating the water (The front desk staff did their best to try to fix it). Anyway, this is definitely a hotel I would recommend to others and would return to.

This is our second time to stay at this hotel within three months, and the reason we chose to stay there again was because of the quality of our previous stay and the breakfast options. This time the elevator was broken the whole weekend we were there, so that was a bit of an inconvenience. We found something of value in the room and inquired if the previous guest had reported having left something and we were demanded that we hand it over! We do not believe that was the way to handle that situation!

Roaches in the bathroom. The safety lock was broken, and the elevator was also not working. I have a bad back, had I known, I wouldn’t have booked.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Burleson, TX was adequate, but one can't help but feel that this is an average hotel chain trying to appear as something more. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the vinyl flooring and high ceilings created a less than cozy atmosphere. Also, while the backlit mirror in the bathroom was a nice feature, the ceiling fan barely worked, and the tub had areas of obvious rust and damage that had been patched. The breakfast was decent, but we were disappointed that the pancake machine didn't work properly, and the attendant seemed disinterested in helping us and other guests who inquired about it. On a positive note, the desk clerk we checked in with was friendly and competent, and we did enjoy relaxing in the hotel's jacuzzi at the end of a long day's drive. Overall, with so many other options in the area at a similar price point, we would probably try another hotel when passing through next time.

Side note- The manager stated the all housekeepers were leaving at 12 (check out was at 1200). If they actually schedule the housekeepers to leave for the day at the same time as check out that is just bad management. 10/10 do NOT recommend this hotel.

All that aside the staff were friendly. Room issues: no hot water at night, made the desk aware at check out, so ?fix; older mattresses-overly squishy, beds very hard to get in and out of, definitely not disabled person friendly. Hotel and rooms have an odd unpleasant odor that doesn’t go away. Tv and it’s remote have no functional way to use the guide for channel information, very user unfriendly. Older ac/heating systems, no way to accurately adjust room temperature, have to wing it and hope you don’t freeze in the middle of the night. Much could be improved for the asking price of the room!

(1) First room had a leak in the bathroom, had to be moved to smaller room. (2) Widow blinds in the room would not raise. (3) Fridge (and it is a good fridge!) emitted a loud humming noise. This was minor. (4) Showers are awkward to operate.

Only complaint was that the lobby stunk like moldy wet carpet. The fans were on to help but didn't. Doors were open at the equipment area where elevator is, and that stunk. Every day walking in to the lobby it stunk.
