Though the lobby is ok and the staff helping me pleasant, this hotel is musty and water damaged, unfortunately. I could smell it on floors 2 and 3. 3 was the worst. My asthma was so bad, I had to flee my room at 9:00 at night and find another place to sleep. It wasn't a fun way to start off my vacation. Please professionally investigate and remediate the stucco siding for water intrusion and window failures which I saw. There happened to be a storm while I was there and water came in.

The door looks like someone tried to break in. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Outlets between beds do not work. Extremely unhappy with this room. I cannot recommend this hotel! There are no mattress covers, housekeeping never came to our room, so we had to chase folks down for towels. I called before I booked to ensure the pool/hot tub was functioning, as the hot tub was the reason I chose this hotel, I was assured they were "good to go" the day before...NOPE! The hot tub was broken! The elevator was also broken. I had to get new keys for our room 6, YES! 6 times, as they stopped working constantly. I was told that this was a common issue. We found a huge roach in our room. We were informed it was a water roach. I found 1 in the swimming pool area that lay dead on the floor the entire stay, it was never cleaned up! No apology, nothing, just ya, our pest man says we just have to deal with them!" Everywhere you looked, there were scuffs, ripped carpet, and just an overall poor-looking hotel. The staff did not smile, hardly speak, or offer any understanding regarding the hot tub, the bugs, our keys... nothing. We have stayed at numerous Comfort Inns, but this stay will make us second-guess our next stay..

Everything was fine other then they allowed from the bottom floor by elevators very loud pounding music that went on from atleast 5p to 10p. Had a bad miagraine so that was really annoying being able to hear it in wall loudly for hours on the 3rd floor.

The keycards didn’t work when I checked in even after going to the room twice. Maintenance finally let me in the room and said they were replacing the batteries. I showered quickly and left for an all day event. When I returned around 9:00 the key still didn’t work. Thank goodness my daughter and family were in the same hotel. I stayed in their room for several hours until my room was opened. I stayed in the room but there still wasn’t a working lock. My first visit to a hotel by myself as a 63 year old it was horrible. I should’ve known since the door jamb and door were both messed up where someone had tried to break in before.

The manager on site was absolutely stupendous and so understanding of being double charged. She deserves a gold star for service, friendliness, and making it so painless. I was double charged for my room and no one told me how to contact the manager.

Yes, they did not have internet access that worked. They also did not replace bath linens daily, for 2 adults we should have had more towels in the room. I had to ask for more towels.

For the last two times we've stayed here, the rooms we had were recently updated with new carpet and paint. We have stayed here several times because it is close to the relatives we visit, and it is the only property in the area that accepts pets.

The room was advertised as 2 queen size beds. The beds were full size. That made the sleeping arrangements uncomfortable. The A/C was the biggest issue. The unit would turn off every 5-10 minutes and wouldn't turn back on without having to adjust the settings. We called the front desk and they came to take a look but didn't really do anything outside of what we had already tried, so the issue was never resolved. Lastly the toilet wasn't flushing properly the water would just spin and not go anywhere. We had to call the front desk to ask for a plunger. After using the plunger it seemed to be fixed, but started acting up again later. This was enough of a negative experience that we will not be staying at Comfort Inn any longer.

We arrived late so we made peace with it but they later charged me extra for a towel that supposedly was way too dirty. The towel got dirty with their floor. That’s where we placed it. At the entrance of the bathroom. Just a shame.

Breakfast was lacking variety and fresh refills of items. Staff was helpful, but they were understaffed. Room was clean, but the exhaust fan didn't work in the restroom. Also didn't appreciate being given half pillows. Weird and unsatisfying. Air conditioner was sufficient but underwhelming on power/ volume.

Great location, overall clean facilities, decent breakfast and nice staff AC seemed kinda lacking to cool the room all the way and has a smell in one hallway but could’ve been something not due to hotel

This is my 4 visit to this hotel . Every visit the restrooms get worse and worse. This time the toilet kept clogging and the sink was a slow drain. Sorry but not returning.

I was sooooo disappointed in the quality of bedding provided. Basically were given just a SHEET to sleep with. It was horrible, uncomfortable. Definitely not the plush night’s stay I was expecting. The room was otherwise spacious and the amenities were good. Breakfast was great. Staff was amazingly friendly!!! Don’t cheap out on us!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the front desk staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful throughout our visit. The pool was clean and refreshing, and we appreciated the happy hour offered at the hotel bar. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel’s location in South Austin was convenient and made it easy to get around. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Austin!

I have been following up with the hotel for past 2 weeks. I don’t see any action from the hotel to refund my money. I have to loose my hard earned money because of some careless people at front desk . Never recommend this hotel to anyone. People please stay away from this property. Horrible customer service.

That said, the room itself exceeded expectations — it was spacious, very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with a good variety and great service from the staff. Overall, while the accommodations and morning service were impressive, the poor first impression at check-in did detract from the experience.

Our check in process was awful. Both people working the desk were very unhelpful, slow & gave us keys that didn’t work twice. The hotel is old, beat up & gross. I would never suggest for anyone to stay here.

Good location for Austin, if you don't want to stay in the hustle and bustle. Nice fast-growing suburban area with restaurants and shopping, also Stagecoach Park is lovely and a very short drive.

Clean room and great maid service. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and tasty. The only issue we had with this place was access to the entrance. It is not marked and hard to get to.

The facility is extremely dated. The pillows tiny, only 1 washcloth for 2 people. The bed was hard. The television was centered on a dividing wall. The "scrambled eggs" were awful.

Rooms were good , beds comfortable , and some of the front desk staff were ok, check in on the first day took a while for the young lady to show up at the front , it was around 9 pm , than on our 3rd day there was a young lady with short hair looked kind of butch , she was not friendly very rude n seemed in a bad mood , the housekeeping staff were great , the brkfst was ok, not a big variety n the same thing everyday , but over all we had a comfortable stay

Some of the staff were very nice, There was a cockroach in the toilet when I arrived. There was a laundry room but no source for change for the machines. Desk clerk said they didn't have any money on the premises. Washing machine took four dollars in quarters but didn't work. I was told they couldn't reimburse me. Housekeeping was awesome.

The lobby and surrounding area was old and dirty. The room was clean but definitely dated. Did have a good mattress and got good nights sleep.

Didn’t like the limit on back door access from parking area. Keys wouldn’t open it.

Worst experience of my life. Was robbed for almost $700 worth of products. Ransacked all our legal documents will never stay here again having to take measures to protect our identity in our company.

This was a repeat visit because the first time we were here the place was immaculate . This time you can see the wear and tear. Our room smelled muggy/mildewy. The bathroom looked like it probably flooded at one point. It was clean but there was some minor mold showing through . We were in 405 so it took forever to get hot water in shower. Beds were very comfy and room was clean but I think it needs a whole deep clean to get rid of mildew smell. The shower curtain was on its last thread. Literally. You couldn't shower with out causing a mess. The employees were awesome. Very nice . I visit Austin a lot so I may give it one more try.

The whole time I was there in my handicap room that we were there for an emergency on a family death we had no hot water

Hotel refused to refund a mistaken booking 5 months ahead of stay and made up a lie that it was Expedia preventing them from doing so. Expedia confirmed it was the responsibility of the hotel to grant approval. Duplicitous staff.

It was good. The bed were the best. Very comfortable.

Hotel was in very poor repair. Pool wasn’t heated and hot tub wasn’t working. Bother of them were being worked on to repair. Overall repair of the hotel was very poor.

What I disliked were the parking spaces; they were too small and needed more room for loading and unloading luggage. However, I appreciated that it was a dog-friendly facility.

We have stayed here several times over the last few years, since our two cats are welcome. The room was nice, but there are signs of wear that need to be addressed. The shower head looked like it needs to be cleaned, some trim on the walls was missing, and the carpet had a few small stains. But the room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, the breakfast was nice.

Best breakfast we have had from a hotel. Having 3 beds in a room was really nice.

The breakfast area was very well set up and decorated. The towels in the room were large and soft.

The front desk went out of their way to fix my reservation mix up. I was having a rough day, so this was double appreciated. Plus they had cookies and lemonade for the kids.

Hotel has clean rooms and good breakfast. Our saty invol ed waitinng two days to repair the toilet. Three days we had to go down to office because the card would demagnetize each day. We were on the fourth floor. While waiting for toilet repair we were told to use the lobby restroom. At 1;30 am this was inconvenient for two seniors. Weve stayed her 5 times. This was our worst experience. I say check that toilet flushes.

I was here for a wedding and it just wasn’t very clean and my room smelled very bad. Sheets and pillows smelled bad.

It was a very easy location to get to.

From the front desk staff to the custodial/house keeping staff, to the cooks for breakfast- every person I saw or spoke to was friendly, professional and appeared to be invested in making the property inviting and welcoming. Bravo!!

Was a great room for the price

The lounge and customer service was good BUT there was a nasty musky smell coming from the room we stayed in. We only stayed a night and left. Wouldn’t recommend longer than that.

We requested early(1:00) check in when making the reservation and were toldwas told no problem. When we arrived manager said no but would allow a 2:00 vs 3:00 checkin so we waited in the lobby until 2:00. Pretty rude

Tried changing the aircon to heat to try and avoid hyperthermia but got a very strong burning smell do abandoned that plan and put layers on to sleep in! First and last time in Comfort Inn

Everything was fine for the exception of the room keys getting deactivated. Rooms were nice and clean, beds are comfortable location was excellent breakfast was decent. Staff was very attentive. Stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay again.

Have stayed at this hotel for years during the Lone Star Le Mans weekend at Circuit of the Americas. Staff always goes above and beyond. The hotel and its property is very well kept. Highly recommend this establishment!

Check in was fast and quick. Location was good. It was very neat and clean. Coffee maker in room didnt work contacted desk and brought a new piece to fit but still didnt work so just let it go and went down to lobby and some there but wasnt fresh. Pool and hot tub was good other then a younger couple making out in it and didnt care to see that while relaxing. We stayed in for awhile then just left. Overall it was closer to location we needed to be at the next morning but a bit pricey.

Our rooms were not ready upon arrival. We were told housekeeping was “still cleaning several rooms” so there was no way to know exactly when our rooms would be ready. This was well after the provided check-in time. Additionally, the heater was accidentally turned on in one of our rooms and the smell was vomit inducing. Our group collectively described the smell as “burnt urine.” We will not be a returning guest to this hotel.
