The host was such a lovely guy, he found us lost on the street because we couldn’t see the street signs. Then he showed us our room and the facilities. He had lots of things for us to do in Bruges (eat, do, see) which was super welcoming. The apartment itself was super super spacious. And super well decorated with lots of quirky Japanese decorations. We loved the charm of being in an old building that had been in the owners family since his children were young. Each day the owner laid out fresh baked goods as well as cheese and meat for us to eat before we headed out exploring for the day. He also took our dietary requirements into consideration which was lovely.

I was made to feel as welcomed as an old friend. The room was quite large and comfortable. It had a romantic feel to it. I'm 6'3" tall, and the shower was difficult to use for a tall person.

The breakfast was lovely. The house was beautiful and full of character, and our host was very accommodating. The only thing was that I did not like the shower, as you have to sit down. I was aware of this in advance though and it is a very minor complaint.

We had the best stay at B&B Jane! Hugo greeted us warmly with a beer and told us about Brugge and what to see while there. Our room was immaculate, so well decorated, large, bright and had ALL of the comforts....coffee, tea, milk, fruit, meats, etc. The bed was super comfortable as well. The bathroom was spacious, so bright with a large window and skylight and beyond clean. The breakfast was great and our table in our room was set up with all of the glassware and silverware. The location was quite central and just a quick walk to the main square. I could not recommend this place more, we will absolutely be back!

Very nice place and very nice owner. Breakfast was good also.

The Africa room is the best

Loved our stay. Hugo was a wonderful host. Room was large, we had the whole floor to ourselves. Breakfast was a nice bonus as were the bikes that were provided at no extra charge. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Exceeded expectations in every way! Nothing... everything was wonderful!

The loft bed was too high for us. Going up and down the spiral staircase was a bit dangerous for us, and the bed up where it was didn't feel safe for two older folks like us.
-
The shower is a bit inconvenient with no shower mount over the bath and the water temperature kept going up and down on its own.

Great place to stay! Liked everything

Very friendly host, and generous breakfast. The room was very large and comfortable.

Location is wonderful; easy to walk everywhere; quiet and quaint. Definitely recommend staying here. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Hugo was 1st class. Breakfast was delivered to our own dining room and was fresh every morning from local shops. The hotel was very close to the centre and the secure parking was 1min walk. Highly recommend. The room was Japanese themed and although very big and comfy the bed was very low. Minor detail really.

Hugo is very friendly and helpful. A lot of travelling tips were offered at arrival and location is ideal. Outside the busy area but very near the centre. Shower is small. So for tall and not very flexible people it would be a problem..

Absolutely lovely place! The teddy bears around were adorable (although the clown doll near the bath was a little unsettling!) and the host, Hugo - was a charm. Gave us recommendations for where to go; always had the fridge stocked with treats, and the breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bruges.

Amazing location, quiet, very clean apartment located in old traditional building. We had our room and living room available to use. The garage was just around the corner, which helps a lot. Hugo was very welcoming host, made our experience pleasant and comfortable. Everything was great
