Once built as a private mansion in 1869 and later in the hands of bankers, this magnificent 19th-century classical building has been renovated and converted into the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage. The hotel is just 165 ft from the market square and has free Wi-Fi. The Heritage Hotel offers its guests elegant, stylish rooms, all characterized by individual decoration, and nice soft furnishings with well furnished bathrooms. An iPad is available in each room. The house has a 14th-century old cellar with special arches, of which stones are now displayed at the museum of the archaeological society. Guests can enjoy regional dishes in the hotel's restaurant. Cozy restaurants, interesting museums, elegant shops and romantic carriages that take you through the city are only at walking distance. Boat rides on Brugge's famous canals show you the hidden corners of the city. The Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage has a pleasant and welcoming lounge with bar. Hotel was fine, we were on the 4th floor and the rooms never got cool so it was hard to sleep until early morning.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was extremely comfortable and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very kind, attentive, and always helpful throughout our stay. Nothing significant. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Great location, beautiful dining room & incredible food, both breakfast & dinner. Was very disappointing that the fires couldn’t be lit, it was snowing with a wind chill of -7° but when we were asked we were told no! Stairs are incredibly dangerous!
