Bel Reve Hotel

The bed was ok that's it. Room to hot. Window no catch and cut my finger trying to open or shut it by a nail as a handle. Sink minute. Carpet discusting all over the place walls discusting all over the place. Reception a junk yard. No amminities only kettle, t bags, sugar. No cup spoon or milk. Dull lights, mirror in bath room around a corner that was useless. Etc.

Nice welcome and check in. convenient location.Sheets clean and toilet clean. Cup issue resolved as only one supplied in a room for 5 and no spoon. Plenty of toilet roll supplied. I read reviews and knew what we were expecting but this is very very run down and needs complete renovation. Bathroom clean but shower full of mould.We paid a very low price so guess it's on us really. Window is awful and dangerous as it does not close and is in the path of the bunk bed ladder. Toilet while clean takes some work to actually flush. Carpets very worn and not particularly clean. It needs investment and time.

Location was good If this was a deluxe double I would hate to see a standard room. For the price I was not expecting the ritz but i was expecting something similar to the listing. The room we were given was nothing like the pictures, the walls were filthy with stains, the door was covered in what looked like spilled cola and the window had no handle so was stuck open all weekend.

Easy access to nearby shops etc and venues hotel could do with a lick of paint and decor very old fashioned showers need to be changed they are very similar to a beach shower and either cold or scorching hot doesn't move freely like other showers if you are not careful you will drench the floor communication with the owner is very limited if you have any issues windows also need proper handles instead of of wire pull.

I stayed here from 16 to 21 may 26. It's a nice hotel in a good location for the town centre and nightlife. There is a Morrisons Daily shop just around the corner that was very convenient. My room was a nice size with new bedding and towels, a nice TV and was very quiet day and night. The staff member at the hotel was always very helpful to me when I needed anything. Thanks very much for my stay.

The man who greeted me was lovely and polite The window in the room did not shut and they didn’t fix it on the first night as they said they would they only did it when I had to book somewhere else at 10.30pm at night. The bedding had tea stains and ink stains on it. The wall next to the kettle was covered in tea all spilt down the wall. The bathroom the shower tray, grout and tiles had mould on them. After I booked somewhere else they then offered a one day refund but it was too late I did give them from 3pm to 10.40pm to make the changes and they didn’t.
