The bathroom was not the cleanest, and during our stay no one came and exchanged towels or mopped the dirty floors.

Staff was very friendly, cleanliness seemed to be a priority, especially when I reported a spill I discovered in the elevator. They're response timw was prompt. No breakfast included, they do have a pantry with items to purchase.

I’ve grown tired of the mediocrity. I finally changed hotels on my last visit and it was way better - breakfast, clean rooms, nice televisions, great connections to apps. Here - it’s pretty much the opposite.

I absolutely love that the washers and dryers are free, it can often be difficult to do laundry when travelling for work,, Candlewood is always free and convenient. The beds are always comfortable, and the pillows are exceptional. Add all this on top of having the ability to fix a meal that isn't 100% microwavable and you have my business any time. I don't really have any complaints.

Everything is nice about the hotel and I like the idea in the lobby you care borrow essentials like pots games and even cell phone charger if you forget yours at home.

I booked the reservation via Hotels.com, but the manager says d it went through Expedia! I don’t know why! The hotel card keys never worked properly. Their credit card machine was not working. Staff was not very knowledgeable in questions we had. Driving in and out of the hotel was nearly impossible. Too much traffic there and no traffic light. ☹️

Good times were had. Really enjoyed talking to the cute girl at the check in desk.

The place was ok. The staff was nice. There is a strange odor on the third floor as you come off elevator. There was a dead road on the floor of the room. When I woke up there was a bug on my pillow.

Check-in was slow, hot tip- if you see a business traveler do not ask if they brought their pet

Good wifi access, kinda hard to pull in from traffic.

Overall outstanding location. Slow wifi and printing was extremely slow from the dinosaur pc that they had in the business center.

A friend of mine her daught has Cerebral Palsy and the suite we got was great very easy to accommodate her needs, easy to move her around in the room. It made our night worth it after a long day on the road.

Property was very quiet. Great place to stay. One dislike was, the entrance and exit. It is facing heavy traffic to enter and exit. We had to double back when leaving or entering. Of course theres nothing they can do about it. Other than that. No problems.

Front desk staff very friendly. We were there for hurricane Ida evacuation from Louisiana. The room was listed as double queen beds, they were actually full size beds. This made it a little crowded for the adults. There was also mildew/mold on the ceiling near the vent. Otherwise the hotel was nice. A little pricey for an evacuation, but in that situation you take what you can get.

The only thing updated at the hotel is the paint outside on the building and they say there pet friendly but what they charge you is the price of another room just to house your pet.

This was not our favorite of the 3 hotels used for this trip. Had to be moved to a different room as ours had been deep cleaned. It had a very strong mildewed bleach smell. Our new room also had same odor but a lot more faint. Beds were not very comfy. Chair in room was broken as was the hairdryer. Didn’t need a wake up call as dog next door was yapping at 6:30 am.

Im an travel nurse and needed to stay somewhere, safe, comfortable, and efficient. Room was clean and Spacious, and staff very nice. FREE LAUNDRY AND DRYER on facility which was huge plus for me to wash my scrubs. Small gym on facility that is very clean. The location is great near walmart, Kroger, and nice restaurants. The list goes on about this place! I will definitely stay again.

The room and facilities were very clean! My only complaint was that the sheer curtains were the only window covering we had. There were heavier curtains up, but they were just for decoration.

Convenient

The size of the suite was perfect for our family - plenty of room!! The kitchenette had everything we needed and we could even rent items out in the lobby if there was anything else we needed.

The hotel staff was friendly, the air conditioner in our room stopped working around 3am so it got extremely hot in our room. The hotel needs some updates. Not a bad stay.

Front desk employee at time of arrival was extremely helpful and had great customer service manners. He let us have the very first available cleaned room even though it wasn't time for check-in so we wouldn't be late for our event we were attending. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall good place to stay, beds were comfortable and the full kitchen was a plus. It was a little outdated by not having any USB outlets for charging devices. But still good!

We chose this hotel because of the amazing reviews. Unfortunately for us the feeling wasn’t mutual. The hotel overall was dated. The outside is being updated and for their sake the inside will be next. Although, our room was huge and lacked seating it reeked of cigarette smoke. We brought it to the clerks attention who was willing to move us but after traveling all day we were just too tired. View was scaffolds and unkept parking lot. We travel and stay at hotels quite often and for the price of this room we were sorely disappointed.

Great stay clean room

Hotel is clean, quiet. Room is clean, smells fresh. Bed and Towels are clean. Water is hot. Service is good and front desk attendant is friendly. The hotel outer wall is under renovation, but still has plenty of parking space.

I love the candlewood brand. So far, I haven't found a bad one. This one is no different. It is clean, comfortable, and just nice all around. You can wash your clothes for free and rent their movies or books. We will definitely be back again.

This Hotel perfectly fit my needs. It was clean very comfortable stay and the shampoo soap and conditioner dispenser in the bathroom was a happy surprise and the pilliws on the bed are amazing. Would definitely recommend this location. Another happy surprise was the noon checkout. Most hotels are 11 o'clock check out that hour really made the difference for me.

My stay was gerat! The room was there a nice the beds and pillows were really comfortable.

Very nice people who work at this location. Our room, exercise room, laundry room and lobby were very clean. Rooms have large built-in microwave, dishwasher, dishes, dinnerware, cooking utensils,etc. Plus Watkins shampoo, conditioner and body soap in a grest dispenser.

I really enjoyed this stay. Staff helpful and friendly and safe well lit parking. Beds very comfortable and good workout facility.

We love this hotel. I work down here for now and my wife comes down about once every 6 weeks to see me. We have stayed here twice and had room 227 both times. We love that room. Everything is so nice, neat, clean and accommodating. It is especially nice for the price I paid for the room. We wouldn’t be mad if we get that room from now on, because we are damn sure not staying anywhere else, as long as I’m working in the area.

It was clean, quiet, and the room was huge. Check in took less than a minute. Shower water was hot 😎. It is an older hotel but it is kept clean and the staff was friendly.

My husband works in Baytown, and when he has to work 7/12’s he gets wore out. Because we live about a hour and a half away... my name is Sabrina Fairweather, i am Paul’s wife.. and we have stayed at candle wood suites off of Garth road in Baytown, TX 2 times now... the rooms r perfect and the staff is very friendly and helpful.... the staff are the reason we came back to the hotel... so nice and friendly.. and very helpful
