About Monument Hotel
Located on the fashionable Paseo de Gracia, within 5 minutes’ walk from both Gaudi’s masterpieces Casa Battló and La Pedrera, Monument Hotel offers luxury services including a gourmet restaurant and a spa. Elegantly decorated, all soundproofed rooms have a flat-screen TV with pay-per-view channels, Bluetooth sound system, and a safe deposit box with plug for charging laptop devices. Most of the room types have a private bathroom with a free-standing bath, velour bathrobe and luxury toiletries. Most of the rooms have a balcony with city views. The 3 Michelin-starred restaurant, Lasarte, offers a range of options designed by the chef Martin Berasategui; while the on-site bistro-style restaurant, Oria, serves fresh cuisine following the Mediterranean gastronomy. Monument Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas; regular trains to Barcelona El Prat Airport leave from Paseo de Gracia Train Station, located 984 feet away. Free high-speed WiFi is provided. The hotel is housed on Enric Batllo’s house, an architectural jewel of 19th century that constitutes one of the characteristic works of the Eixample Quadrat d'Or and which gives it the Specialty Monument status.

The Concierge and door men were extremely friendly, polite and gave great customer service. We really appreciated their service. As busy tourist we were out all day and when we came back home to freshen up, there was no water and we never got any notification. We had dinner reservations and we did not feel adequately refreshed. I did not expect this from a four star hotel Very disappointed in how they handled this.

Location, breakfast amazing Staff can more friendly take for ever to clean the room. The roof top loud front staff can be little nicer and more accommodative to costumer concerns

Fantastic concierge . Dennis MADE our time in Barcelona.Bravo,Dennis!
-
Location, modern, staff, relaxing. Breakfast needs to match the 5* market. Suit 501 too close to elevator.
-
Central location. Close to everything. Very friendly staff and great breakfast None

Central location, quiet room to the inside court, modern architecture, very clean, good food No reply to my request for a restaurant before the booking, tiny gym without treadmill, roof terrace and pool was closed for construction and no one told me, elevator noise in the room even though far away from elevator

Clean and well located. Staff were AWESOME It was very pricy

The hotel was excellent. The location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean and comfortable. We especially liked how easy it was to explore Barcelona from here. Honestly, everything was very good and we didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Excellent location, elegant design, very clean rooms, attentive staff, rooftop pool. Nothing

The location was fantastic - in the heart of Barcelona on Passeig de Gracia with 2 Metro stations within 2 blocks, yet it was very quiet. The rooms were spacious with a walkout balcony and housekeeping was spotless.

Very well decorated, very good breakfast and buffet, comfortable beds Just a little too much noise leakage, but it was New Year’s Eve so… ??♂️

Great location and very clean Nothing

Ample professional staff. Very clean and stylish. Lovely breakfast buffet. Central location with many taxis. Small room ok but a bed frame was chosen that had a frame on the far side that my entire family kept hitting a leg on. I’m bruised and bleeding. Ouch. The noise in the room from the subway was almost insufferable. I was not expecting that. We need silence to sleep and having the train rumble and shake the room sometimes every 3-4 minutes was very upsetting.

Great breakfast with lnicev selection of fresh fruit, cold cut , pastry and nice menu for eggs options . Setting in or out by the pool on the rooftop. Pool was cold and in the shade from 3 ppm on .

The room was lovely, large and comfortable. The rooftop bar was fun and the spa was wonderful. The Oria restaurant was amazing. But above all, the staff was superb. At every turn they made us feel we were the most important guests at the hotel. This is what 5 star is all about. Well done!
-
Beautiful building with fabulous restaurants (2 Michelin rated), best breakfast and lovely helpful staff. A true upscale experience. Not a negative word
-
Very nice area and the staff were wonderful. We were in room 105 and it had almost zero view. Wonderful sized room but no view.

Location was excellent, in the best shopping district and just a few steps away both directions to two major Gaudi buildings. Our room was just perfect with one of the most comfortable beds ever in a hotel! Breakfast exceeded expectations completely. The staff are all not just professional but make you feel like you're part of the family. Let me just say everything here was excellent except for the Ceasar Salad. I'm a Ceasar salad connoisseur and Ceasar dressing has to be made with an egg yolk, dijon, olive oil, lemon, parmesan AND anchovies! The one I had was more of creamy blue cheese dressing. They HAVE to change their dressing or call the salad something else. Otherwise the food there is amazing.
