    The bed was too hard.

The room windows were quite small, but each room had its own distinctive color and character, which made the experience more interesting. The bathroom was comfortable and practical. During my stay, there was a conference in the city, so hotel prices were generally much higher than usual. Fortunately, I managed to book this hotel at a more reasonable rate and felt that it offered good value for the money. Most importantly, the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

Location Property could use a refresh.

Very clean room. The shower was good. The room was very dark for sleeping. No street noise. Bed was a little too firm. The room didn't have a window. Lots of noise from adjoining rooms.

neat staff cleaning lady was rude

  • Engine customer May 2026

Good location. Room had no windows or ventilation and AC didn’t work. Rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes. Guests smoked in the hallways and it would drift to my room. Pillows awful. Walls paper thin and you can hear so much noise. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Excellent location if you want to stay in the Gothic Quarter. Good shops nearby if you need a coffee or basic stationary. A lot of cafes around including a Starbucks about 20 ft away. Wifi was good, I was only using it for emails but it checked about 7-8 mbps speed. Bathroom is spacious enough. Very pleasant staff, always willing to help. The elevator did not work for the 3 out of 4 days I was there. The stairs are kind of steep too since the hotel had space issue generally. Not working three days should not be ok. There was a shower gel, toilet tissue and towel as toileries, nothing else., which was ok for me. I know the budget rooms in Europe can be small, but this was way too tiny. If you are alone, it will do. Or if you will be in the room only an hour or so other than sleep, it will do. My room had no window at all, but I was informed about it by the property - after booking though. A second person will be tough. as long as you use it just for sleep and shower, it is ok. but then you can consider all those hostels too for that purpose.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Since April is still consider winter months there cooling setting is shut off and the heater is turned on. With that, it was extremely hot in our room. With two windows directly facing neighboring building we didn’t have any breeze or fresh air. I had to ask the front desk for a fan, which was provided.

Nice, cozy place in a center district.

It’s clean.near to the city.but we get the room front of the lift so we heard the noise if the lift was open and the noise of the people from the lift.good for the price and its near to all shop and the most important reception is 24 hours and outsider cannot come inside. We always used maps in our phone to get back in to the hotel because confusing the street and lot of rounding

Welcoming reception, The lobby and the rooms had a unique and interesting design, good location in Gothic Quarter Small window of the room

Just the location Thin walls, very noise Staff unfriendly and a horrible value for money

The staff was very nice and accommodating when I shared my shock and disappointment with our room. The lobby area is super cute, good aroma therapy, tastefully decorated, so good first impression. But once off the smallest of elevators to the hallway of rooms, it was like a different place. Looked like a low grade nursing home. Horrible smell on the 2nd floor and smallest room with no window, no circulation, AC not working properly, foul odor in our room similar to hallway, no hot water in shower, etc. I asked the front desk what my options were, they moved me and my daughter to a larger room with a window the next day. A clear improvement, but still on the 2nd floor and not the kind of room I would chose to book in the future. I didn’t appreciate the significant difference in the decor and aesthetics of the lobby and the rest of the hotel. The stale, musty odor in the hallways and room were awful. Bedding..I think what is usually a comforter at the foot of the bed was a curtain or table cloth.

Rooms were very warm with no ventilation. Bathroom was small and oddly laid out, which made the toilet hard to use

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

The staff was excellent but the room wasn't great. I was also by an elevator which I heard all night and the window faced a wall and all I could do was crack it, not even open the shades. I wasn't told about this until I was just about to check in. There was nowhere to store food at all either or even ice to keep drinks cold. Also, the water machine claimed to have cold water but didn't. The lack of just some basic luxuries like a washcloth. I had to use toilet paper to wash my face because I was worried about dirtying the towels with my makeup. Also, I basically had a curtain as a blanket and the room was freezing, even with the air conditioning off. I probably should have just stayed at a hostel.

The location was great and the fact that it was possible to leave our luggage at the hotel before our check-in and after checkout was really helpful. Dimmed lights also provide quite a vibe. The rooms are really noisy, constantly hearing sounds from the neighbors, having earplugs is a must! The shower was very bad - low water pressure in the evenings and the water temperature was really unstable, mostly cold. Pillows were really thin and uncomfortable.
