Hostal Fernando

Great location in the Ramblas area. Good breakfast! The afternoon/evening attendant was not very friendly. The hostel is pricey, but this the going price for a decent location in this area of Barcelona.

This was a very central location, which at times felt a little hectic. The room was perfect for my needs and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a very nice, although extra but reasonable charge. Despite the property being in a busy area, it was not noisy at all. While convenient to 2 metro stations and very walkable, this was in too busy of a location for my personal taste. When I return to Barcelona I would opt to stay a bit further out from La Ramblas. Going out for a coffee or evening walk felt crushing at times.

Excellent location. Clean, great breakfast for the value and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend and would stay there again on a next opportunity.

A bit noisy

The WiFi was horrible. Room very small for two people

Probably the noise from outside, but that’s out of hostal’s control. We knew it would be a bit noisy but we still loved it.

Had a special request for the room overlooking the cathedral, they made sure we got that room! :)

Modern design, newly renovated, clean, and a storage locker was a bonus! USB ports in business center didn’t work, and there were no adapter in rooms, so I could only charge devices in the universal plug in business center with one plug I brought, instead of using the many nonfunctional usb ports.

Excellent location and the staff were super helpful and freindly.

Location was great! Was pleasantly surprised with the size and comfort of the room. Staff is all friendly!

Mini fridge would be nice and a bit more thorough cleaning.

Location. Only thing is the taxi cannot bring you to the door. They drop you off and you have to drag your luggage halfway through a crowded street. About a block long. Bathroom is too small.

Amazing bed to sleep in, my room was small but enough for myself, clean and renovated bathroom, great shower, 10/10. I had breakfast one morning and it was delicious, lots of choices which i loved. Great location obviously. Sad to leave Barcelona. Little mini fridge would be a good option

Located within the Gothic Quartier alomg a maimn street with lots of shops Walkable metro stations Staff was great, the person in charge when I checked out at around 5am ensured that I am safe going out, he looked after me because he said there was a bad guy outside trying to get in at the reception just before I checked out. Breakfast has a lot of varieties at reasonable price. They offer discount at their restaurant for hotel client Their restaurant has very sumptuous meals They allow free luggage storage before check in and after check out. I was allowed for an early check in at around 12 noon, i think Very tiny room but not really a big deal. I just came to sleep, leave things, shower anyway. Im out all day.

The location is excellent! Just behind the Barcelona Cathedral. Shopping and restaurants are everywhere. The staff were helpful. They even have lockers to store your luggage on the last day, while passing the time to go to the airport The sink in the family room on the 3rd floor is so tiny, there's no place to put your toothbrush or other toiletries, bathroom is generally tight

There was some noise at night which my mom didn’t appreciate much but I had earplugs with me so had no issue. I believe that’s the price you pay for the great location.
