Hotel Boutique Mirlo Barcelona

The property itself is absolutely beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food was fantastic. The room was lovely and having a sauna, steam room, and spa tub in the room made for a unique experience. The overall atmosphere felt relaxing and upscale, and if you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the crowds, this could be a great choice. Walking into the city was also manageable since it was mostly downhill, and there is a train station about 10 minutes away for those willing to use public transportation. If your goal is to explore downtown Barcelona and spend a lot of time in the city, the location is much farther away than we expected. Taxi rides into town ranged from €20–€44 one way depending on where we were going and the time of day, which added up quickly. Walking back to the hotel was a challenge because of the uphill climb. Our room was located beneath the kitchen and next to a public restroom area, so there was more noise and activity than expected. The sauna and spa area also made the room feel uncomfortably warm at times. The floor in parts of the room seemed slightly warped, possibly from moisture or heat over time. The tub was beautiful but difficult to get in and out of, and while we eventually figured out how to fill it, it was not very intuitive.

The hotel feel like a home rather than a hotel I can’t think of anything everything accede my expectations.

Great location

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It has a cozy feel to it (it is not a big chain hotel). It is quiet and the staff is friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

An absolute gem of a hotel, clean, peaceful, verdant. The staff was so professional and courteous and ofcourse, the hammam was a most enjoyable perk. Nothing!

Very nice boutique hotel with a top service from frontdesk and Julio in the restaurant. The place is situated on a distance from major attrations but well reachable via Barcelona's great transport system. Room was fully equipped, ours with a hamman which is definitely a plus! We were given a room at the first floor with elements for disabled people which I didn't request at time of booking.

I liked the atmosphere and friendly staff. The building is beautiful and homely. It felt warm and was calm. The room was excellent, clean, and the leasure facilities inside the room where a big bonus. Located on the beautiful Avenida Tibidabo. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. All the hosts were professional and helpful. The only point of feedback was the lighting in the room and living room area. I would prefer it if the lighting in the room could have been dimmed. It was either full bright on (all lights), a couple of small dim lights, or all off. A room this size and with different parts, dimmers on the lighting as well as a way to switch lights on and off separately would be better to be able to create different moods. The lighting in the common areas of the main building during the evening were too bright for my taste.

Everything Nothing

It’s a very beautiful building. Neat and very well taken care of. Very nice staff! Maybe just the traffic and the corner entrance to the parking inside of the yard, but I’m not sure they can do something about it. It’s more of a city issue

Answering on behalf of my son and daughter in law. Luggage didn’t arrive until a day and a half later. Staff was very helpful in trying to resolve the situation. Very kind and encouraging. Food at the hotel was exceptional. Beautiful hotel grounds.

Clean, nice friendly staff, bed was awesome, breakfast was great too a lot better than your usual “hotel” breakfast. I really can’t say enough about how nice the hotel was. Only draw back it was not centrally located but that’s not a problem as there is always a taxi within 2 to 3 minutes.

The property is phenomenal. If you like relaxing this is the best hotel for you. There’s a reason why this hotel is 5 star. From the staff to the facilities you’ll get the pamper you deserve. Its also near to Mount Tibidaboo funicular.

Hotel Mirlo is an oasis. It’s so peaceful and relaxing but very close to the city. The room we had was amazing and spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was so good (we ate there 2 nights out of 3), great iced coffees by the pool. It really was a place you looked forward to coming back to after a busy day in the heat and crowds. We stayed here after 3 weeks travelling and it was such a nice way to end our holiday. Nothing I loved it all and want to come back
