The indor and oufdllr pool Lighting in the room needs improvmement

The staff were great, it was in a perfect location as there was lots near. We mentioned that it was poor honeymoon and they did a few bits for us to make it that little bit more special. Excellent hotel! Nothing, it was perfect

The location is wonderful. The building is beautiful, elegant, and comfortable. The pool and terrace bar area was excellent, as was the view. But the best part was how helpful the reception and other staff members were. Special!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 1898 in Barcelona. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The doormen assisted with our luggage, the reception team was friendly and welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was exceptional. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the location was perfect for exploring Barcelona. We felt genuinely looked after and would highly recommend Hotel 1898 to anyone visiting this amazing city. Nothing

The food in the rooftop bar was very good and the atmosphere was fabulous along with the views. Staff were amazing in the heat serving a great selection of drinks. The pool was very welcoming after a long day wandering the city sites in the heat Staff throughout the hotel were very helpful & friendly Not a great selection of hot food at breakfast Coffee machine was limited and slow to use Staff were v attentive though

Location, staff, roof top, spa, everything was excellent Rooms weren't the best but we were hardly in there.

Fabulous location. Beautiful hotel. Fabulous staff The plumbing is complicated in the bathroom. Difficult to work out how to fill the bath!!! My husband couldn’t either. Three taps no instructions. Managed a Luke warm bath - had to go to reception for a bath plug( very helpful staff)

Fantastic hotel, I don't think we could have found a better hotel for the money. The location is perfect, right in the middle of where you want to be for seeing all the sights. The bus from the airport drops you off 5 minutes away and the Hop On/Off sightseeing bus stop is also 5 minutes walk. As soon as you walk in, you know it's going to be great and then you see your room and then the rooftop area and you realise that you won't want to leave. Every member of staff was friendly and professional from check in to bar staff and you would always get a "hola" from the housekeeping staffin the corridor. I would 100% stay here again if visiting Barcelona. Thank you Only a couple of minor things. The air con in the room didn't seem to work and the shower pressure could have been better. The metro also runs underneath the hotel so you would hear this every time a train goes past.

Lift system was not very good

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous roof deck. Excellent food. Glass bottled water in the room. Very strong jasmine scent in the lobby. I couldn’t spend more than a second in there. Also, the lovely water dispensers are taken away in the afternoon. Either have them all day or put more water in the rooms.
