The hostel was very clean! It’s was also in a good location as the train station was across the street. There was always someone at the front so checking in and out was very easy.

The blankets where very thin which made sleeping a little uncomfortamble. The soap they included wasn't golf enough for showering. Eventhough, as an overall experience, we had a great stay.

It was clean and they were cleaning the room daily, the staff was super nice and accommodating, helping us with anything we may need. Overall a great experience :) Our room was right next to the reception so the privacy was kinda lacking

The location was excellent, very close to the metro station. The cleanliness was very good as well. However, the internet was weak and the signal sometimes disappeared. The hospitality services were average, not at a very good level. There was no private fridge in the room, only a shared one, which was not convenient as I sometimes lost my items from it. No private fridge in the room. The internet was weak and the signal sometimes disappeared

The room faces a small closed terrace where the staff are chatting and smoking, not very comfy :)

A convenient inexpensive hotel on the way into the city from the airport, within walking distance of the museums on Montjuic, the port and the Ramblas. Good for a short stay. Nose from other rooms and flats at night as the insulation is thin. Windows look out onto small airless internal courtyard.

Hostal Elkano is budget friendly for tourists. My kids and I traveled to Schengen states. Barcelona is so far the cleanest compared to Rome and Athens. Their metro, funicular and bus are efficient and cleaned daily. The nearest train station to this accommodation is Pueblo Sec. It is 45 minutes away from the airport by metro. It has a community park with playground. 3 supermarkets (including Dia) and a Filipino restaurant within 3 minutes walk. The hostal offer the basic coffee, milk, tea and water. They have shared toilets and shower that are outside the rooms. Currently, when we visit their is a construction infront of the hostal. The owner and housekeepers are so nice and warm. Nothing

Location and staff For the money, you can’t expect mattresses of 40-50 cm. That’s the only thing I missed.
