The rooms with windows that don't face a lightwell are very nice. I was on the top floor overlooking rooftops and it was uplifting being filled with lots of light and having a view. The linens are terrific. The bathroom and its accessories are very fine. (I think they had the largest hotel bath towel I've ever seen ). I appreciated the artist gallery on the main level and the ample breakfast as well. It was nice to step out onto the rooftop terrace. I was first presented with the opposite of what I requested (having neither view, high floor, light) in a room that needed some maintenance. And when I complained, they offered me nothing (at first) I contacted Booking.com that the room was depressing. They reached out to the Hotel. [an hour or two later, on the next shift, a supervisor Joseph reached out to me to ensure I would be a happy customer, and gave me a room on the top floor which I enjoyed very much and is described above.] Their gym only has three cardio machines and a set of lower -weight dumbbells, in a very tight space so it's not good for a weight training workout.

Location is perfect, next to Enric Granados and Diagonal, very convenient. Some guests were loud late at night

Cleanliness, excelente location, the staff was exceptional but specially Domingo who was very professional and gracious with every question we had from start to finish. Nothing not to like

The room was spacious and clean. There was a double bed, couch and comfortable sized bathroom. The location was great with many attractions within walking distance, and the metro access was very close and convenient. There were many very good restaurants in close proximity. There was no view out the window, only onto an inner hallway, but that was explained when I booked it.

Great location, great atmosphere and very clean

We changed our room since the first one was very noisy. Unfortunately, both rooms did not seeing sunlight. Cleaning ladies are very unexpected, since they were opening the room without any notice.

Location There was't a place to sit down comfortably at the hall. The window faced a building. It was very noisy. The noise coming from the closure of doors.

Convenient location It was clean

Hotel Astoria location is awesome. Close to all store, pasterrias and restaurants. Workers are nice and helpful. Room is clean. Wifi is They cleaned our room everyday even I put the Door Tag “Do not disturb”. But even though, overall really Hotel and will definitely recommend for all looking a place to stay at Barcelona. A lot of noise, especially in the morning. A lot of pounding and grinding. One morning, no Hot Water! I guess the noise from fixing the Hot water pipes. WiFi is strong but I suggest TV needs to upgrade to TV that has APPS option. In order for the renters to watch Netflix or YouTube.

Comforter had a large stain and was not changed despite requesting new sheets, bed was uncomfortable, staff did not disclose construction in building would begin at 8am and be loud during stay

When we requested anything from the front desk staff they were very quick to respond. The hotel was centrally located to shops, restaurants and Viator meeting locations we needed. The bartender was extremely cordial and friendly. Our room was super small especially for two people with luggage. Our son stayed in the same hotel at the same rate we paid and his room was easily twice as large as ours. The tub in the bathroom with an overhead shower was extremely narrow to the point you could not stand comfortably in the shower. Your feet would be curved up and it was uncomfortable. I had to stand sideways. It was also awkward that the glass partition did not extend the entire length of the bathtub and that it would move inward. You had to be very careful where you stood to shower so as not to spray water outside the shower area. The breakfast was priced about evenly with a hotel we stayed at in Naples; however, the selection, for the cost was extremely limited.

Location of property is central to most amenities that travelers required. Quiet and safe neighborhood, with several restaurants nearby. The room was clean, spacious with all amenities to. Make a comfortable stay.Breakfast was a great variety of baked products, coffee, juices and eggs and other stuff done on request. Satisfied
