Very little options for restaurants and cafes nearby need to drive a little bit. The sink/wastafel is too high ? and would be best if they have on duty staff in the reception area and reply calls/messages especially when checking in/out.

The wifi is not working good, very slow/not working at all in the room or from the balcony.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean and the breakfast was a real treat with fresh fruit, good coffee and eggs made to order. The staff were kind enough to let me store my luggage before check-in, which made things much easier. Even though I booked a dorm room, I ended up having it all to myself, which was a nice surprise. The place is a little outside of Ubud center, but for me that worked out really well because it was quiet and peaceful while still being easy enough to get around. Overall, it felt welcoming, comfortable and a great value. I’d happily stay here again.

We found it to be truly exceptional. The atmosphere is amazingly relaxing. We were in the room next to the fishpond and could watch the fishes. All the facilities felt even better in reality than they look in the pictures. Also the breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly, which made the two nights there a perfect experience. The driver did not find the homestay and we needed to ask the people on the street. At arrival the was no staff present and to get somebody we needed to pass some barking dogs. Which is not optimal, if you are afraid of dogs.

Just want to give a heads up to other travelers that our bathroom was only equipped with toothbrushes and bar soap. We used the bar soap for both hand and body wash. We brought our own shampoo and conditioner to use. There is no hair dryer. Additionally, it was a bit difficult to flag down staff members when we needed help. However, Kevin was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and would send a staff out for help when requested!

Very nice family business. After few days in Ubud staying close to the center, we wanted a more relaxed and cultural experience. No regrets! They have four rooms available in their family backyard. Everything very private and nicely setup. Cosy garden and common area for breakfast. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff received us very well and information on the breakfast and bike to rent. The breakfast was nicely prepared by the owner's daughter, simple but good. I would recommend this place and come back in the next visit. Nothing much negatively about this place. I can mention that it's bit far from the centre of Ubud, which we knew before. For us it wasn't a big issue as first days in Ubud we stayed closer to the centre and we wanted to relax more. Also we rented a bike which makes things easier. Other small and easy-to-fix things were, no room service (making bed and changing towels), shower head support was broken, so we have to hold it at all times (this was an issue in other commomodations we stayed in Bali as well, maybe it's just how it is) and few rats outside in the garden.

The atmosphere was giving the “Balinese experience”. You are in the nature, it’s calm and quiet. Facilities where good, clean, convenient. This place is owned by a lovely family, always keen to have a talk, and share good activities. They are really flexible. I recommend 100% this place.

Hospitality A bit far from main market

The rooms are gorgeous and there is a kitchen. The garden is also very beautiful. The breakfast was good. In the garden there is a fountain. You can hear the water all night. If you are a light sleeper, you may have difficulties in sleeping. It is also a bit far from the centre.
