Very clean and great location

The location is great since it was right in the Domain. Can walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was great.

It was our 30 anniversary and the staff treated us like royalty. It was a memorable time. Thanks

The only criticism would be the A/C was difficult to control (but that may be operator error?!) and the pillows were too poofy (specific to me)! Otherwise, a great value and nice place!

We had a very short trip, but everything was great for what we needed. Only thing is parking might be an issue because it’s shared with the mall and I was unaware. Other than that I would stay again.

Love the smell of the hotel. Clean room. Extremely comfortable beds, although the olive light blanket (in between the flat sheet and comforter) needs to be replaced, they are full of pillage; and based on the housekeeping carts that have the clean replacements this is an issue for those olive blankets. This is a 4-star hotel, blankets with pillage should not even be seen much less a part of the bedding ensemble for your guests. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location terrific!

The room was clean and very nice. Hotel staff that handled check in was friendly and quick. The only negative experience was at check out. The staff that helped with check out seemed annoyed when I approached the counter, but they did handle my check out quickly, just not very friendly. I would still book a room here again.

This has become one of my favorite places to stay in Austin.

The room was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. The towels are amazingly absorbent while not being scratchy. But what really sets this hotel apart is the staff - friendly and accommodating. And the restaurant (Corrine) is EXCELLENT! Be sure to check out their sourdough toast!!

I didn't use the pool nor did I eat breakfast there.

The location in The Domain is perfect, there are so many great restaurants, shops, and places to explore just steps away, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. My room was comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax after a day out. Overall, everything was seamless and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.

The property was under construction, but this did not cause too many issues. The shower in my room needs repair as the handle is stripped. The fitness center and pool/spa were very nice. The restaurant was a little too expensive in my opinion.

At 4 AM, a massive humming noise from an outside AC unit jolted me awake, making it impossible to sleep. At 6 AM, I went to the lobby with an audio recording of the noise. The night manager, Jessica, completely brushed me off. We were extending our stay, so I asked to be moved and requested one free night for the total lack of sleep. She flat-out refused, offering only a free breakfast, and incredibly blamed me for not complaining before going to bed! How could I predict a 4 AM noise issue? Instead of helping an exhausted guest, Jessica was hostile and unprofessional. When I waved at the desk clerk to give me a second while I walked over to her, she snapped, calling me "rude" for not saying "please wait." I admit I raised my voice out of pure frustration because she was being so completely unreasonable. I gave up and tried to leave for coffee at 6:40 AM. Because valet doesn't start until 7 AM, the desk handed me my keys. I searched the lot but couldn't find my car. It turns out it was locked in a private back lot—something I was NEVER told. I paid $40 for valet, only to be stranded. When valet finally arrived at 7 AM, it took another 20 minutes to get my car! The daytime manager later apologized and offered Marriott points, but it doesn't excuse the sleepless night, the $40 valet trap, or Jessica’s horrific attitude.

Great place too stay

The staff was amazing and so helpful and friendly. Brunch in site was amazing with great service. There was construction on one part of the hotel; however, they put our room far away and we didn’t hear any noise from it! The hot tub was broken but they were getting a part. Nice pool area, comfortable seating and clean heated pool. Close walking distance to everything in The Domain! We even took the train from Downtown and it’s only about a 5 minute walk from the train station and cheap! We would stay here again!

Hotel is in a great location walkable to shopping centers and restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable front desk was very accommodating in answering questions.

I loved everything about this place except the valet. Upon arrival there was a lot of chaos and no one really communicating well to help the flow of things. Additionally, when I was ready to head out at 6am, I found out that valet didn’t open until 7am and my car was blocked in so I had to take a $75 Uber downtown. On a lighter note, I appreciated the quick and easy check-in process. Upon entering the lobby, it felt like a calm space and it smelled really good. Our king size bed was very comfortable and everything was fairly clean. There were two things in our room that I did not appreciate: 1) the iron had something sticky to it so I could not use it for my shirt 2) the duvet was old and full of fabric pills. Overall, it was quiet and they had the restaurant/bar plus an express service mini store. There are many restaurants and shops in the area that are within walking distance.

Everything was nice , however the bathroom was not clean. We had to clean the toilet with disinfected wipes because it was dirty.

You can't beat the location for walkability. A couple blocks to shops/resturants/entertainment either way you walk out the front door. Big box also right across the street include Dick's and Macy's. Nov 2025 parking is a hot mess FYI.

Biggest issue was parking. Lot was so full by 8:00pm that we had to park at the mall across the street and cross the street to the hotel in the dark. Daily parking fee was refunded. Also had issues with hot water.

Building was nice, room was dated and the sealing on the shower was not done properly so water leaked everywhere when I’d shower. The floor would flood in the restroom, they offered to caulk it but I wouldn’t be able to shower again while I was there( I still had 2 days left). They couldn’t offer me another room because they were booked solid.

On my last day, I requested a late check-out, but the receptionist refused simply because I had booked through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel. Instead, I was told I would have to pay $25 per additional hour, which felt unnecessarily rigid. The hotel itself was fine, but the lack of flexibility and the way policies change depending on how you book was very disappointing.

The Westin was a great hotel. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was great. We will definitely be back.

I loved everything about this property. A very nice outdoor pool, a dozen nice restaurants nearby, and a fantastic restaurant called Corinne in the hotel! This is a perfect weekend getaway hotel or for business travelers. The staff was next level as well. Cheers!!

The mall and other restaurants where with walking of the Hotel..Security was very good around the parking lot..and the staff was very helpful my needs. Parking was restricted for only hotel quest so the Gates made it difficult to come and go.

Great stay. I clean because you just never know,but everything was clean except the side of the toilet which had bot been clean. That's my only complaint. Parking is self parking for$24. There is Macy's cross the street...but you might get towed. I didn't chance it 😕.... lol It rained, so no pool... but i had a great relaxing stay.

The air conditioner in the room made a lot of noises.

Tammy at the restaurant was amazing as usual. She made great food suggestions and was patient and kind. The bar staff seemed new and confused. The check in was sinply amazing. The cleaning staff threw away the personal towels i bought for myself. The check-in staff also turned in my daughter's UT class rings she left in the ladies room after washing her hand. We truly appreciated that. Overall it was a good stay.

Additionally, I woke up with a rash on my skin, which raises concerns about whether the bed sheets are being properly changed between guests. Overall, I did not have a good experience, and I hope this was just an isolated incident. Please improve the cleaning standards, as the location is excellent. Based on my experience, I cannot consider this a 4-star hotel. I hope these issues are resolved for future guests. Location: Great

It's clean and well-maintained. I didn't expect too much about the pool because it looked rather small in the photos. However, my family ended up having the best pool day! It's very clean and the water temp is nice.

The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. Oddly, my biggest disappointment was the lobby. Functional would best describe it as it is not welcoming or impressive by any means. The appearance of the lobby and the $7.50 charge for a cup of tea (which must be ordered from the bar) were disappointments; the room and the staff were excellent.

Also, there was a team of 25 mostly unchaperoned boys, 8-10 years old staying near our room. I have never heard more noise!

In the past I positively rated the Westin at the Domain. One of the main reasons I chose to stay there on my frequent visits to Austin is because I wasn't charged for parking. It was a perk that voided out driving back and forth to downtown. Now with the new policy in place of charging a daily parking fee, I will have to review whether it's worth it to stay out in the Domain area. Very disappointed in that change.

Charged twice for incidentals that were never returned. Overall, customer service with this property has been poor. Had to pay for parking. Do not recommend this property.

Great place to stay. Comfortable beds and located on the edge of the Domain. The only item I didn't like, was the advertisement says "Free on-site Parking". That is false. They charge $24 a night to park on-site. You can park for free on the street or at a nearby parking garage and walk.

Great area, walkable shops, exciting night life, plenty of restaurants to eat at. The beds are comfy plenty of room. The bathrooms are clean but the shower water pressure is not great.

The hotel was great and the staff was wonderful!! But we had to call for the robes in the room and enough towels for me and my daughter. I didn’t like the gym/fitness center it was too small and people were way to close together in there. I felt that could have been bigger. There was also no water, the water thing was out of water. Bottled water should have been provided. The only other thing was the information about the hotel on the TV said the pool outside was heated. It was not. That upset my daughter. We would stay there again though because of the staff being so wonderful and the location is great!
