I found the bed comfortable, although the other bed was not, for my adult children., I do always like their check out time. 😌

There was no pool

Pool was under construction though. Would have been nice to have known that.

Check in was slow and the room was dated, but okay.

The lobby and common areas looked quite nice, however when we got to our room the freeway noise and smell sent us back to check in for another room. The only room they said was available at 5 pm was one on the first floor near the lobby. With all the rain and being near the pool (which was closed) the room smelled extremely musty and moldy. It was dark with inadequate lighting and carpeting was well worn and felt damp. Outside the pool was close by so we wondered if the rooms had flooded and were concerned for our health. The first night there were kids watching TV in the lobby and yelling until almost 11 pm. Our room did not have a hairdryer and I had to ask 3 people to get one. They changed our towels which were not drying with all the humidity but only got 2 bath towels - no hand towels or washcloths. We did not partake in the breakfast and went out to get food the whole time there. Will not stay here again.

A comment on cleanliness-Please clean the cobwebs and dust curls from the AC vent and surrounding ceiling tiles over the front desk. They make the hotel look run down and give the impression the AC filters are dirty.

Breakfast was really good. Pool was out of service.

Spacious rooms Pool was not working and we’re not notified, otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else. My daughter was looking forward to pool time.

Staff was excellent. That is the only thing good about this hotel. First room we were in smelt moldy and the entire room was damp feeling. The carpet was wet when we got there. Changed rooms the next day it was better but bed was horrible. Mattress should have been replaced a long time ago. Breakfast was the worst I have ever tried to eat. Got dressed went to the pool gate was locked. No sign anywhere nor were we informed when we checked in. Would probably never stay at a Holiday Inn again after this stay.

Staff was not very friendle during check in or check out. The gentleman who checked us out acted like we were a bother. He said they charged my crefit card although the hotel was prepaid. He said Expedia didn't send then a receipt, turned it that the receipt they gave me was not mine.

The cleanliness stood out to me the moment I walked in! Spacious room, incredible pillows, Dove products in bathrooms, decent breakfast. Staff was accommodating. Certainly my go-to in Austin moving forward.

First I was booked into a room that was already occupied.😕 Given another room quickly---but, still, a hassle. Hotel & room cleaned with heavy scented cleaning products--- & I'm allergic to scents---so not a restful night. Holiday Inn Express on Stassney is much better choice.

We were road-tripping and visiting friends in nearby Dripping Springs. This hotel was conveniently located. The room was very clean, bed was comfy and breakfast good. We got there late and didn't have a chance to use the outdoor pool but it looked nice. Small fridge, coffee maker in room, front desk staff were friendly .

As usual I always stayed at holiday inn when i travelled, a place I can rest my head from long day. However, this hotel made me feel like I’m home, because of the water pressure feels like you have the luxury. Yes, that water pressure they have it’s made the difference. Keep it please don’t change.

Asked for a walk in shower for my handicapped mom and all it had was handicap rails. Also, they "cleaned" the room by taking our towels and not replacing them. Trash not dumped and beds not made

South Austin has really evolved lately in this hotel is very close to shopping and has relatively easy access to downtown via a short drive. The staff was very nice and I appreciated the cleanliness of the facility.. The gym was OK but somewhat limited compared to other hotels. The breakfast was amazing and had many many options. The only downside to the stay or some other guests that seemed to be enjoying some inhaled substances and being loud, but that’s not really the hotel‘s fault.

I checked out 20 minutes after breakfast ended. The manager asked if I enjoyed breakfast. I told him I was too late. He personally walked me to the breakfast area and told me to get anything I wanted. I left with yogurt, fruit and fresh coffee. I appreciated him going out of his way. He saved me $ and an extra stop on my way home. The bed was also very comfortable. The location is in a central area, close to the areas I needed to visit.

Our keys stopped working after one night. The beds & toilet were super low. The room smelled odd, probably because it was on the first floor by the kitchen. The toilet smelled like pee because the connections were dirty. The shower curtain was not long enough to go inside the shower.

Very clean and quiet facility. All staff I encountered were friendly, professional and efficient. Pool was clean but showed some wear and tear. The only drawback was a shortage of towels, but being summertime and pool in use, I can see that could be a challenge if at capacity. We will have reason to travel back to this area several times in the next few months, and I will choose this hotel again.

Alice was so friendly upon check in. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and quite large. Bed was lovely to sleep on.

The hotel was very clean. The lobby and breakfast area was constantly being mopped and wiped down, which I liked. The room and bathroom were also very clean and I felt comfortable staying there.

This hotel is clean and quiet. Right off the highway it is very convenient to get to, however, it is not walkable to many many places because of that. Parking lot is a little small, but overall it was a very good stay for the price.

Clean hotel just south of Westlake and close enough to UT Austin - for the price it was ideal. Breakfast was good - sausage, biscuits, gravy, microwave omelets and the usual continental staples. Everything was fresh. The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. We’ll stay here again.

Short sign identifying the property - luckily there was a second driveway else we would've had to go around on the freeway. Desk chair wouldn't raise but my wife used it as is for her zoom. Cleaning crew does a good job. Front desk is helpful -- when they can get to the phone.breakfast is ok. Sorry if there are typos, my eyes are dilated.

We liked almost everything, disliked that the Tv didn’t swivel left to right for viewing from the couch or even from the other side of the bed was difficult because the tv was in the corner of the room . Odd? Exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work.also had to hold the handle on the toilet for it to flush completely That's about it, minor issues, great place we will return.

The Assistant General Manager Getu is extremely customer focused and exactly the guy you want at the front desk! His friendly demeanor and willingness to help with my accommodations made my stay very enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is lovely.

The room was big and clean, everything worked but the breakfast was lackluster. Some of it was good, the dry cereals and toasted bread, but the hot foods were blah and rubbery. The pancakes were spot on!

No one was at reception desk with a sign saying sorry be right back. Guy finally came & checked me in. Forgot to give me back DL & credit card which I didn’t realize until I was in room so I had to go back down & retrieve. Room has obviously been remodeled nicely but AC Swamp cooler smells dank & moldy.

We booked two nights, July 22-24. The basics were good: the room was clean and quiet. There was some room for improvement: the towels were a bit cheap and scratchy, the Dove soaps were too highly perfumed and the plastic cutlery at breakfast was so small and flimsy they were virtually worthless. But unless you are arriving by Uber/Lyft, I recommend you book a different hotel. On the night of July 22, two cars were broken into in the hotel parking lot. Windows were smashed out, one car was stolen. I saw mention of a car break-in in an earlier Google review before we booked, but felt that the hotel must have taken action to prevent it from happening again. They put up signs stating that they are not responsible for any damage to your car. Or, park at your own risk. We decided not to take any chances and left that day, forfeiting our second night. Holiday Inn, are you listening? This problem is damaging your reputation and will cost you business. Get a security patrol and security cameras.

Great place for my needs - friendly staff, safe location, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast was quite nice too. The location was perfect for visiting my mom nearby.

Service is phenomenal at this hotel. Breakfast had a good assortment and the coffee was surprisingly good!! The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable enough. The hotel is in a convenient location right off the highway, but it is noisy due to traffic.
