The hotel is undergoing renovations, which has led to some cleanliness issues and construction noise. Despite this, guests have praised the friendly staff and convenient location.

Under renovation but our stay was on weekend so no noisy work happening. Beds were extremely comfortable!
- 1.5/5
It was under construction and no pool or gym. And the front desk has no clue what room they put us in and while we were in bed having an intimate moment a make employee just opened our door without knocking and came in asking if anyone was in there. He came in, saw us, and left with no apology. I didn't even stay the second night I was so scared to stay there. Not good. When we told the front desk about it they basically said they had no clue we were in there.

Upon arrival, right as we walked into the main lobby, the breakfast/sitting area was completely roped off due to the property being under construction. 2 of my main reasons for booking this hotel was the photos of workout room + continental breakfast looked great…Neither were accessible. Super disappointing. The pool on property though was clean and we did enjoy that. It was late our first night and when we went to take showers, there was no hot water! The front desk staff were friendly and worked to try and find us another room, but after a few checks of different rooms, they too had no hot water. So they graciously offered us a discount for the inconvenience which was nice. Hot water was fixed by the next morning. The room was excellent, spacious and clean. Clean and comfortable bedding & towels as well. Overall it was a pleasant stay, I just wish there was a notification displayed on this hotel when searching that showed “under renovation/construction” as I would’ve most definitely chosen another option.

Issue #2 : When it came time to shower there was no hot water. During the same conversation about the toilet, the water was brought up. My husband was informed that, the water boiler had to be reset and the maintaince man would not be in till morning. Issue #3: I turned on the shower water hoping we had hot or even warm water and we had nothing but cold water AGAIN. Worst stay I have ever had at a hotel.

I have stayed here before and was totally pleased. This time the hotel has been renovated with extremely clean and modern rooms, lobby and breakfast area. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though this location is near my family, I would want to stay here again if it was not.

I booked a room for 2 nights. The location of the hotel is great as it is right by the freeway and is easily accessible. My flight was delayed so I checked in a little over midnight and that was not a problem. The gym and part of the lobby was under construction so we didnt get to enjoy those amenities but we didnt mind as we only slept there. The room was clean and it looks like it was recently painted. The manager Josh was funny and pleasant. Only recommendation is to have an exhaust or fan in the bathrooms.

small carton of milk handed to us in a paper bag. The coke machine was empty. The property is also not that easy to drive to if you aren’t familiar with the area.

Location rooms were comfortable They were going thru renovations, so some amenities weren't available. Not much of a problem though

The Room Was Nice And Clean.. Everytime We Walked Down The Hallway The Dogs Barked, I Didn't Know The Hotel Was Pet Friendly ...I Am Also A Disabled Lady. I Believe Ppl With Disabilities Should Always Be On The First Floor Not 5th Floor, In Case Of An Emergency...

The property was undergoing a renovation (so they said) so there was no complementary hot breakfast like Expedia website said, instead it was what they referred to as a grab and go, which was a small muffin, granola bar, and an apple. Coffee was available in the lobby only two of the five mornings. There was no TV service for four of the five days. I had to change rooms once because of things not working. The exercise room was closed the entire time. There were no vending machines. The doors to the rooms would not close properly and you could see into the room through the bottom left side of the door. The key cards didn’t work regularly and you’d have to try many times in order to get into your room. Half the electric sockets in the room were dead with no power, and the main desk lamp would flash on and off. The entire lobby was closed off the entire stay.

Property is undergoing renovations and is not complete. Our room probably was not quite ready for occupancy. Grab-n-go bags for breakfast. It should be nice when the renovations are completed and the new owner takes over. It will no longer be a La Quinta.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and staff was great. Lobby, breakfast area, and gym are all under construction and not usable. Breakfast was only a grab and go bag of pre-packaged items and no coffee. None of this was communicated on the booking site. If breakfast, coffee, or the gym are important to you, I would confirm if available before booking.

Location ideal as we were visiting friends nearby. Layout of King suite perfect for us, mother & teen daughter. Liked the toiletries I didn't know it was under construction! ? All exterior doors propped fully open all night (to air out paint smell?) security concern. Countless details missing/rough/unfinished due to the ongoing renovation

No hot breakfast - sack lunch with 1 apple, 1 water, 1 carton of juice & a granola bar. That’s all carbs and nothing else. Paid for a king sized bed and the room we got door wouldn’t lock, switched to a 2 queen beds for 1 night and then moved the next night into a king sized bed again. And our second room with the queen sized beds had wires coming out of the wall in the bathroom… no pool either as they’re doing renovations. Pretty disappointed ☹️

Location was good. Beds were comfortable. No hot water for two days. Under remodeling no hot breakfast a pathetic sack lunch. Laundry out of order , fitness center out of order. No drinking water anywhere, no coffee in the lobby ( all hotels have coffee in the lobby and access to drinking water. Pathetic, cheap coffee maker in room worst i have ever seen. Felt like a stay at a low grade hotel not a La Quinta and its now a Wyndham . Marriott has enough money to close make repairs, upgrades

Bed is comfortable, shower hot, air conditioner working, and room was clean. Amenities lacking but only because the property is in the middle of renovation. Free breakfast was a grab bag offering only sweets and no coffee. Other than that my stay was great.

The breakfast was ok but wish I would have known in advance that it was a bag breakfast instead of a hot breakfast.

Property is under construction so packed breakfast was available. There was a mix up in our already booked room and was given to another guest. We found out when we checked in arriving to room then finding luggage in room. All king beds were taken so we had to be placed in two bed room.

Very friendly staff. The rooms were recently updated and renovated. The lobby was still under renovations when we were there, but looked to be almost complete. We had a great stay!

Convenient location. No gym facilities. The room was dark, other family members had a lamp in the room. The keys rarely worked we had to try several times to get the door to unlock. Stagnant water and hair was left in the shower from the previous occupant. No hot water in the shower and sink on our last day.

The receptionist was very nice and checkin and out was great . The beds were very comfortable. I didn't like that I did not have notice it was under construction. Pool not available or fitness center. Breakfast and dining area closed but did receive an apple, juice, and small Danish in a bag. (They tried) . The TV didn't work at all from checkin to check out. That was a HUGE inconvenience. The technician was called, but the problem was not fixed ?

The remodeled room was clean, spacious, and quiet.

The property had no hot breakfast meal as advertised since the entire kitchen and diniing area was under renovation. Instead, they provided a paper bag with one apple, one small pastry and one honey peanut bar. Possiby the price for the room was a bit lower than if the property's renovation had been completed? All in all, it was a nice and satisfactory room and property. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The location including parking seemed very secure.

There was a lot of construction going on during the early morning weekend hours which was not fun. Also the amenities were all closed due to construction but none of this was information offered to us before booking. TV was tiny and didn't match the description given . Not the worst but definitely not the best. I'd say mediocre at best.

We arrived and staff was great. Upon our arriving in the lobby the two days for our bag breakfast we were told they would not be available due to the kitchen not being open because of the remodel crew messed up the electric the first morning. The the second morning the the remodel crew had done something to the coffee makers and there was no coffee either morning or snacks. Also, the rooms bathroom bath tub was dirty with hair in it. Looked like it had not been cleaned. I understand the remodel taking place. It was just not a good experience at all. The staff on both days apologized for the problems and were sincere. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out the second afternoon.

Property nice Original room key did not work including front desk person key. Switch to different room door handle didn't work correctly took 8 tries to get in thou key card was working. At check out front desk said couldn't give me receipt because was locked out of computer and didn't have code. I would have to go back later to pick up receipt. Later in the day was told receipt would not be possible but luckily I called instead of driving 30 miles just to find that out. Never got a call to let me know this would happen after front desk assured me going by they would have receipt waiting

The hotel is undergoing a big renovation. Breakfast is a go bag (oj, granola bar, green apple, banana nut muffin, water). Our room was clean. The bed was very comfortable, must be a new mattress. Pillows were down filled and too flat for my liking. There was no kleenex in the room. The shower caulking needs to be redone. The space where the toilet sat seemed a bit narrow and the toilet seat was loose.

Breakfast was supposed to be included; however, it consisted of an apple and a muffin in a paper bag. The property is under renovation and there is no lobby! Checkin is via a bored, tired staffer sitting on a chair in a hallway. The door to my room was hard to open and the a/c was extremely noisy. Seriously overpriced given it's current condition. The only reason I would consider staying there again is because it is very near my destination.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. I understand the renovations, but there could of been more that was done for the grab and go breakfast. I am a pre-diabetic and the only thing I ate from it was the apple. Not much of a breakfast.

The hotel failed to mention online that it is under construction. The key cards were not working so we had to be escorted to our rooms. Upon check in to our room it was not made. One of the elevators was not working. Would have moved to another hotel however we were heading to a wedding and were only there an hour before heading out to our event. Seriously disappointed service and La Quinta to say the least. Upon checkout we had paid for a breakfast but were offered muffin fruit and warm coffee in a bag.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were but comfortable. We were not aware that the hotel was under construction. We were put in a room that was only 90 percent done. The elevator only worked half the time and no hot breakfast. Also there was no maid service the whole time we were there.

Website should state hotel is being renovated. Our room was a suite and still under construction (TV not installed in sitting area, bathroom door would not close, square hole in Sheetrock in bathroom, etc) also there was no breakfast. When we checked out, I asked for a receipt and the desk clerk said she couldn’t give me one because I booked room through third party (Expedia). I had to ask how much was being charged to my credit card!!

The worst customer service staff including the manager who banged at my door after the night shift said I can have a late check out. I arrived at 250p and the gal, Emile, said I had to wait 10 mins before I could check in. This hotel is under construction and shouldn’t even be open said from the bad customer serve. The Door handle to my door was flopping, basically not working correctly. I arrived at midnight back to hotel and the doors on the side of building were completely wide opened for anyone to come in! never have I been to a hotel with all around issues including that the tv wouldn’t work, like ot had no internet or something. I should have completely paid the extra 20 to stay at the holiday inn!
- 2/5
I wish there was a warning that the hotel is a hot mess with the renovations. It was super dirty the minute you walk in the door. There was no breakfast buffet. They had a grab bag for you to pickup. What was in the bag was a joke!
- 3/5
Bedding was dirty, no breakfast - sack breakfast (apple, oj, bottled water, granola bar, & packaged muffin). No access to pool and the front due to renovation.
- 1/5
The hotel didn’t tell us they’re renovating, one day we didn’t have water, another day there was no hot water for the shower, and the front desk won’t pick up our calls. It was terrible. It ruined our vacation.
- 3/5
I had reserved a handicap accessible room. There was no accessible room available. The person manning the desk did work to at least get me a room on the first floor, but the shower situation was not user friendly for a person with mobility issues. Very disappointing.
- 3/5
Would have been nice to know in advance that this hotel was being remodeled. Free breakfast was kind of a joke, strong paint smell in common areas, and no hot water in my shower on 2nd night. Will be nice when done but they may consider closing until complete.

The room was fine. They were doing construction work, which made it messy. The room lock was broken, with the handle hanging down. Four times we had to get the card rescanned. The front desk was not helpful at all. Finally I got another room. They made it stressful.
- 5/5
Clean room. Under construction.

Was not warned there was construction going on. Also booked this room so that my grandgirl could have breakfast before her basketball tournament and there was no breakfast. The “bag breakfast” was not even ready when we left.

Location was good. I didn’t like that there was Zero Water Pressure, Didn’t know that whole hotel is getting renovated, fire alarms going off, elevators take forever. NO Breakfast as They say they have!! No front desk that answers and etc…
- 2.5/5
The location was good. There was construction at the hotel. Some inconveniences such as inconsistent elevator performance and bagged breakfast were dealt with. The phone number provided to us to call the front desk was never answered. On the Saturday we were at hotel the alarm sounded. We did not know if this was an accidental alarm or if indeed there was an emergency such as a fire. I called the front desk and there was no answer. Continue on the lack of the phone being answered, we tried to call the hotel after we left to ask if the room could be checked for some clothing that might have been hanging in the closet. Very irritatingly we never had the phone number we used answered. Nor was there any way to contact the hotel through a voicemail or Internet message. The lack of someone answering the phone really degraded our impression of this hotel.

The rooms are nice, recently refurbished. Location is good as well. Comfortable bed. No cold water in shower on day one, just scalding. No water in shower at all second night. Personnel were notified on day 1, and it got worse. No answer when tried to call front desk.
- 1/5
Horrible hotel. It is not as good as it looks in the photos. Everything under renovation including front lobby, gym, etc. They said it’s taken years and still not done. Stains on carpet, one day we had to go to a wedding and right when we were trying the water got shut off to the whole building for 2 hours with no warning. Light in the room was flickering the whole time like a strobe light. Breakfast was just a packaged muffin. Fire alarm went off 2 times within our 4 days there throughout the whole building and nobody would shut it off. Location sucks, it’s right by the freeway so it’s loud but nothing within walking distance. Overall horrible hotel.
- 2/5
not allowing our room to stay cold. Very disappointed that we were not informed of these conditions when booking. Not fair to pay good money for this place. Corporate should have closed down until everything was completed.
- 1/5
There was no notice that this hotel was under renovations when we made our reservation. Otherwise, we would have booked elsewhere. Only one elevator was functional and very slow due to guests, staff and construction workers using it. In our room we had a trickle of water out of the faucet and no water in the shower. We were told that it would be a short fix but the pressure was never enough to be able to shower. There was no hot breakfast due to the kitchen being closed(one reason we chose the hotel) but a "grab bag" would available the next morning with snacks. When we checked out and asked for one, we were told they were out. There was no apologies for the conditions. This is not typical of La Quinta properties but it does make me question ever staying at another.
- 2/5
This hotel was under construction, which I did not know when I made the reservation. The front desk and entry were closed. Instead tables and computers were set up in a hallway beside a side door. It was necessary to use a service elevator, which was understandably often busy. There was no breakfast. The room key had to be rekeyed daily. But on the up side, the room itself was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. It is probably reasonable to expect that these problems will not be present in the future, but they were inconvenient for me during this stay.

The property was in renovation and redecoration and keys weren’t working and the smell of paint was heavy. Our room was aired out so we were able to stay. A staff member opened the door to our room. We didn’t use any of the facilities.

We were not informed that they are undergoing a renovation. I booked this hotel based on the ameneties. There was no breakfast serving area, closed due to renovation. No main check-in. closed. Had to check in using a side door. No gym. No business area for computer work. Our room didn't even have a bathtub. I was told due to renovation. A man came in asking for a room and was told that ther wasnt any, it was reservation only. he stated he called the corporate office and they said the hotel had plenty of rooms. she apologized and stated that corp. had no idea that they were renovating. I felt cheated and lied to, all in the name of greed. I paid full price for a breakfast buffet to save money. Had to drive several miles just to get breakfast. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The staff like talking on the phones, however semi-quietly trying to not draw unwanted attention. The room was a five. very clean. good housekeeping. The renovation and everything else closed was a disaster. If you book a room here here, call the hotel directly to find out if they are still renovating.

Do not stay here while massive construction is being done! The whole place smells like paint, the “front desk” was in the hallway, there was no breakfast only coffee and water. We stayed in a renovated room so it was upgraded but the paint smell gave me a headache and the rest of the hotel was an accident waiting to happen.

Evidently this hotel has been under repairs for years. There were no key cards. There was only one elevator. Any time we needed to get in our room we had to wait for a hotel staff to let us into the room. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the breakfast area was close. They provided a bag of item, but nothing like the typical breakfast. The smell of paint was very strong! There should have been transparency with what to expect and the cost should be reduced if not completely compensated!

Hotel under renovation. Check-in desk was in a hallway accessed by a side door from the parking lot. Hotel clerk informed me that key system was completely down and all guests would have to be let in their rooms each time. Clerk said he would let us in room on 4th floor shortly as he was also helping another guest. The clerk was running all over the hotel letting guests in rooms, trying to check guests in. Our room door was already open when we arrived at our room. Then the room air conditioner did not work. Went back down to the desk and said we were leaving and was informed they couldn’t refund my money, I would have to go through Hotels.com/Expedia. I went to the hotels.com website to try to cancel and was told that I couldn’t cancel. Nor could I find a telephone number on the website. Seems to me since key system was down that their guests were not secure in their rooms especially since my room opened without a key. So how could the hotel rent rooms to guests that were not secure? Not good.
- 1/5
was a mess the whole stay. Keys would not work and we couldnt get in our rooms without a mess. Was told i would get a refund for not staying Friday night but it has yet to happen. should have been told about the construction mess so i would have had a choice to go elsewhere but they didnt.

No running water. We had to go to the Target to go to the bathroom. The front desk didn't seem to care.
- 1/5
No kitchen was available so no hot breakfast. They had a paper bag with an apple, a smashed muffin, a granola bar and a plastic water bottle. We stayed four nights and on night 2, every time we left the room, our card keys would not work, so we had to get them re-programmed. Then on day 3 of our stay, the card key system was inoperable completely and we needed to wait for a staff member could let us into our room. We felt bad for the front desk clerk who would need to leave the front desk to let us in our room. On day 5 when we checked out, the card key and the system were still not working. And to make things worse, the elevators stopped working and we needed to climb four flights of stairs to get to our room. And so did the front desk clerk to let us into our room. I'm sure they had to do this for every single guest that needed to get into their room. Most disappointing was that there were no managerial employees available to answer questions or perhaps discuss some type of credit or compensation or refund for all of the inconveniences we experienced. I strongly believe that there should be some type of disclaimer warning that this hotel is under construction. Very sketchy way to conduct business. NOT UP TO LA QUINTA STANDARDS.

Hotel is under renovations and I was not informed ahead of time. Check in detour was marked well. No key because card reader broken. Had to be escorted to my room. No continental brwakfast, no workout room. Very disappointed that there was no compensation for this. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Ispecifically stayed here for the breakfast and workout room.

No breakfast since they were working on the main lobby. They did offer breakfast bags with a random assortment of snacks and an orange juice. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Hotel was under renovations, that was not communicated previously. They had no breakfast which was included. The entire property smelled like paint and once in the room there was no toilet paper, tried calling the front desk but the phones didnt work. A lot of guests were unpleased and the staff was not very helpful

ONE NOTE-I AM AN ARCHITECT AND THE ROOM WE WERE IN, WHILE NICE, STILL HAD UNFINISHED COMPONENTS. FOR EXAMPLE, TOILET WAS NOT AFFIXED TO THE FLOOR (MISSING SCREWS) AND THERE WAS CUT DRYWALL WHERE I ASSUME AN ACCESS PANEL IS TO BE INSTALLED. MINOR PAINT ISSUES (IE PAINT ON WALLCOVERING) BUT OVERALL NICE.

Property was being remodeled so there was no lobby, no front desk phone, no hot breakfast, and understaffed. Streaming services did not work on TV. We were reimbursed 50% of our room fee but I have not seen it yet. Would not recommend this hotel because management doesn’t seem to have it together.
- 1/5
I recently stayed at the La Quinta Austin South and cannot recommend it. First, there is major, unannounced construction happening on site. The loud drilling made it hard to get work done in the room, and the property smells strongly of paint thinner. Second, they still advertise a hot breakfast, but instead hand out a grab bag with a granola bar and a muffin. Finally, I was explicitly told at check-in that I could check out at noon. On my final morning, they claimed 11:30 AM was the absolute latest, and then tried to charge a $55 fee to stay until 1:00 PM. I specifically needed a late checkout because I had my dog and couldn't access my home until the afternoon. Originally I had considered buying an additional night so I could stay until the afternoon but I was so frustrated by the end that I will not give another $ to this hotel chain. Management needs to be transparent about ongoing renovations and honor the amenities they advertise.

Awful, dirty. Requested a refund!

If the property is under renovation, why do you let people book??? Horrible condition with paint smell, dirty bathrooms, lobby is full of dirt, and bagels felt like they were 100 years old. Please close this lication
- 4/5
Hotel was being renovated and there were old matresses in the wall way. There was a strong odor of paint and other chemicals. A notice prior to booking that the hotel was being remodled would have been appreciated.

Entire hotel was under construction an everything smelled like fresh paint, even our room. Is was NOT pleasant. Fitness center closed. I would not have booked this hotel had I known these conditions. However, the staff was friendly and our room was clean. Thin walls.

Absolutely appalling experience. Under construction and a complete mess. Elevator broken and we were put on the 4th floor with 150 lbs of luggage. Mattresses are lining the hallways. Charged way too much for such poor conditions

Hotel is run down and going through a remodel. They have 20 construction workers staying there who work on the property. Strong chemical smells. They are very loud even when not working, they have TVs and music blaring in there room. When I approached management they informed me nothing could be done. I reached out to Wyndham Corporate and they said there hands were tied since I booked through a 3rd party. Essentially admitting and acknowledging the state of hotel and my experience. Instead of trying to resolve the matter they shifted the responsibility onto Expedia. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Everything is a mess with their renovations going on. I suggest you wait to late Fall of 2026 before booking a room here.

Staff was very accommodating. Especially when we had a very strong weird smell on our first room-they without hesitation switched us. Construction/upgrades are being done but didn’t bother us. It’s an older hotel, but bed were very comfortable and AC was cold which helped with a good nights sleep. Could be a little cleaner in my opinion but don’t effect our stay too much

Room was in good shape, but the facilities were being renovated and there was no ice available anywhere. All vending machines were removed. There was a distinct smell of construction throughout the hallways (drywall, etc...). I appreciate that the renovations are necessary but believe that those who are staying during the renovations should benefit from reduced rates.

The room had a bad smell and was not clean upon arrival. The ice machine was not working, and there was no Wi-Fi available, which was extremely inconvenient. On top of that, the door to our room would constantly stick — you had to push it very hard every single time just to get in. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and we will definitely not be staying here again.

Thr channels.on the tv's guide didn't correspond to what was actually showing. The worst part was the dogs waking us up with their loud barking in the hallway just outside our door since 7:00 in the morning. This was very inconsiderste to the majority of guests at the hotel who PAY to have a restful stay the hotel (maybe designate a section for guests with pets?) and the last straw for me! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

My husband got a tummy ache from the breakfast sausage. Our tub was NOT clean. The Hotel is being remodeled so we didn't expect a lot but a clean tub would have been nice. The front desk people act like we are a pain in their day and offer no extra help at all, had to beg for a printed receipt and we couldn't even get an extra blanket. The front desk clerk that checked me in asked if I had a dog with me? I said not with me. He proceeded to tellme about fines when people try to sneak dogs in??? What??? I just said I don't have a dog with me...

The building was under renovation, but the parts that were completed were sub-par, our shower door wouldn’t stay closed, very thin windows, and ours barely shut, the bed and bedding were old and worn, uncomfortable, old mattress… AND we had our gas tank siphoned overnight leaving us with no gasoline. Never again!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel is a dump. Absolute dump. It desperately needs more than the fresh coat of paint they are applying to the exterior. Should have read reviews before booking but a basic level of cleanliness is expected in a Wyndham property.

Was unaware the place was being remodeled. The check in was strange. I asked to pre-check in and the girl told me she couldn't then I sat down to do the pre-check on my phone and she decided she could???? Then when I checked in later, all was ready but the guy didn't tell me my room number so I asked and he acted like I was dumb because it was written on my paperwork - uuummm... Then he didn't even tell me where the elevators were. He did warn me my card would stop working if it was near a phone or even my car keys (what's with that?) No info about breakfast. No Do Not Disturb sign in the room. No frig in the room (ugh!). The wallpaper in the bathroom was a mess (didn't affect my stay but if you're remodeling, I'd check on that). Just a weird stay - I am coming back in December and hope that it's a better experience. I understand remodeling but... I expected just a little better from la Quinta. The beds were comfortable. No extra blankets or pillows were provided.

The doir to room need to be repaired.

The staff was nice. The room looked clean, but it smelled like animals and there was a smell of urine in the bathroom.

The room was suitable; clean floors, nice bedding, clean bathroom, nice towels, working TV, working HVAC, but toilet seat loose. With ongoing remodeling the hallways, elevator and sidewalks were messy. The elevator was working but appeared in poor condition. Secondary exterior entrance doors were not locked overnight. Landscaping is poorly maintained.

Because of these unsafe and unsanitary conditions, he had to check out early. I contacted Expedia right away to request a refund, but despite multiple attempts, Expedia was unable to reach the property and told me a refund couldn’t be issued. This was a serious health and safety issue, not just a matter of preference. I’ve since escalated this matter to the Better Business Bureau for review. Travelers deserve safe accommodations and fair treatment when properties fail to meet basic health standards.

You can tell it used be fairly nice, but it’s dated for sure. Looks like they are upgrading things slowly. Parking was free. Exterior doors not secured and you could enter without a room key. Rooms smelled musty and moldy. We ended up getting some air fresheners and Lysol—which didn’t unfortunately didn’t help much. The windows in the rooms did open, so that helped most. Breakfast was eh. All the bananas were busted open and the eggs appeared watery and precooked. Probably the biggest disappointment was room service. They only clean the rooms after a 3 day stay, unless requested. We did request a clean, but they said they didn’t have enough staff to clean our room. So we had to take out our own trash and beg for towels. Would not stay here again.

Years-long remodel continues. Fridge was out of cubicle, sitting on the floor. Remote had to be replaced. Half-full water bottle on top of mirror
- 3/5
The room was clean and beds were fairly comfortable. The breakfast spread was pretty good. The cons are that you could hear everything from the rooms/ hall around you. I heard bathroom noises, music, doors slam shut. Also our shower water never got above a lukewarm. Finally they have a VERY strict early checkin policy...anytime before 3 is $55 even 30 min before when rooms were all avaliable.

The hotel is under construction, so it's loud and messy. The renovated rooms have such poor craftsmanship that I had to wedge a cloth into the shower track to keep the door from rolling open, and typical for so many cheap hotels, the sink drain was slow, even though it was brand new. Maybe it will be nice when it's all done, but judging from what I saw, it will just have updated colors. I don't think I will stay here again.

The whole hotel was dirty. Our room was smelly. They looked to be under construction so limited parking. If our room was already remodeled, it was very poor work.

Had to wait on room, we were offered a queen/double room due to not having the room size (king) we booked. Offered to see if they could find one. They were able to find one, yay! However, when we arrived on the floor, the hallway had noticable amounts of drywall throughout. Many doors were damaged, some greatly. It felt as though we were the only people on that floor. We thought perhaps a work crew was staying there and brought drywall in on their work boots. Our room was okay. However, I had specifically booked a hotel that still has a tub option, which this one advertised it would...just a shower. In the morning we learned that the floor was being renovated, which we had not been notified of. I walked out to loud saws and dust from the construction. The dust built up through the day triggering my coughing when I arrived back. We also had a service dog with us & while she did well with her training when passing the very loud sounds, if a sharp item had been dropped while trash was moved from the rooms she may have sustained an injury. Had we known there was construction we may have been more willing to take a different room due to safety of service dog & severe allergies to dust. Staff was okay, not friendly we felt we were a bother.

Short staffed a bit of a delay at the desk but overall the room was nice we seemed to get one that was newly renovated, the new look is nice looking but could have been cleaned a bit better after looked like the Reno team was just in there. The halls and room doors are dusty and dirty due to renovations. Parking lot also had chunks of debris (drywall, counter pieces and tack strips) from the renovations as well so be careful where you park and walk. Overall quiet stay nothing loud or crazy happening and breakfast was good tasting!
- 5/5
Excellent place. Will stay again.
- 4/5
There were a few this in the bath that were kind of unfinished. No TP holder or towel racks. Appears remodeling wasn’t finished.
- 3/5
Dated facility, lacking amenities...must have a car if you need to eat. All restaurants much be accessed by the freeway. Also under construction during my stay.
- 5/5
This hotel looks like it is undergoing renovations. My family had 3 rooms and they were big and roomy. The only issue we had was that only one room had a fridge in it. One nice thing that we noticed about this hotel, even thought we didn't need this service, was that they had washers & dryers on our floor. The rooms were a great price and the continental breakfast was very good.
- 2/5
The entire property was in disarray. Obviously going through renovation, but in the meantime, needs to be shut down due to dirty carpets vomit in the elevator. One elevator not working and total stinkiness.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The remodeling looks good. The rolling shower doors will need to bwe adjusted so the doors remain closed during taking a shower. that is a simple adjustment of the slope at the rollers. We would have used the pool accept thunder storms rolled in at the timeso we chose not to swim.

Do not stay here. It is very dirty. Trash was not picked up daily in the halls. The trash was overflowing. There were people stayimg there that were yelling at one another. I felt unsafe and checked out early.
- 4/5
Ok property, close to downtown and good accesd
- 4/5
It’s was good location, breakfast was great, clean, so far everything was good
- 4/5
Our original room had a door key issue, but the staff at reception immediately moved us to a better room and personally confirmed the working key slider. Breakfast was OK, but fruit and yogurt only came out on the weekend; not weekdays. The 24/7 coffee was a great perk. The pool was clean and accessible. The area was very safe.
- 4/5
The property was very nice. Check in was easy. Large gap in the door to the hallway let in a lot of noise from kids running up and down the hall and the bathroom door had to be slammed to shut it. But it was a good place to stay for a night.
- 3/5
Super bad policy on brining pets. In pre check in you will make the request which will be denied. But it is not true. They says s It’s so you not be double charged. This gave me a heart attack thinking I had to find another place after reserving this one.
- 3/5
The whole facility is undergoing renovations. So, noisy and dirty. Staff and breakfast were good things about the hotel.
- 3/5
Room was clean, comfort
- 4/5
The room next door was playing music which wasn’t bad, but then they started smoking pot. I texted the front desk and they immediately took care of the situation.
- 4/5
The person in the adjoining room turned on the TV rather loudly and woke me up at about 2:00 am and 5:00 am the first night. The next morning, I asked the front desk employee if she could ask the person to turn down the volume the second night. It was a little better, but I was still awakened during the night.
- 3/5
Although the property has a good location the rooms are severly in need of rennovation. Our first room had several broken features: a couple of the base boards were laying on the ground. The toilet seat was broken. There were several "fixes" that were not done well, screws sticking out over 1/4 inch to hold a strip of wood next to the bathtub, silicone oozing out of the sink etc. The bathtub was not clean and had hair in it from previous occupants. The next room we were moved to was a handicap room, the toilet was not securely bolted to the floor and would wobble if you sat on it, the handicap handles in the shower did not seem secure and had pieces falling off of them and the shower leaked from the shower connection. We also killed several bugs in the room.
- 3/5
Hotel was in terrible condition. Dirty, smelly, water tasted bad. Grounds are in need of maintenance.
- 3/5
The room was fine. The lobby had no air conditioning or if it did you couldn’t tell the breakfast was average at best.
- 1/5
4 day stay, and everytime we came back, the room keys were no good. There was even a point we waited 45+mins just for front desk to help. It was a huge inconvenience. Last day of the trip we didn’t even leave because of this. Front desk staff was nice but just took too long for anything.
- 5/5
We love this hotel
- 1/5
The room I stayed in smelled like animals had been in it. Also, someone left their dog in their room and left for hours and the dog kept barking and barking. That is not cool at all. I asked to be put on the fifth floor because I thought animals were on the first floor.
- 3/5
The hotel shows a lot of wear, elevator was old but functioning, room card reader was also not reading room card consistently. It's fine for a quick stay but anything longer than a night, I'd look elsewhere for something newer/nicer.

The room was nice. The communication was poor. The property is very nice and it is in a good spot. However, there was construction materials all over the parking lot area taking up too many parking spaces.
- 2/5
Elevator was very worrisome and has to be reset when it got stuck. Air conditioning was out in the lobby and where breakfast is. They are doing renovation on the hotel so they are working on it but still worrisome with kids.

$30 fee for early check-in was an unwelcome surprise, particularly since the room was ready and we weren't super-early (1:30 for a 3pm check-in). This negatively affects my desire to return to this property and means I'll have to call properties prior to booking to check their policies in this regard.

I stay at this property annually. I like the location because it's convenient to several places I need to go while traveling. I'm glad to see they finally fixed their pool. They were a few issues, two of which I feel are easy to remedy. Firstly, for whatever reason, everyone was placed on the 5th floor. This was extremely inconvenient because as you might imagine, you had to wait a very long time for the elevator in either direction. The hotel wasn't fully booked or packed, it's just everyone was placed on the 5th floor, pretty confusing. I'd requested to be close to the fitness center and my room was just about as far away as you could possibly get from where I wanted. I had a safety scare at 9:30 in the night when somebody tried to get into my room. Made it hard to sleep but I don't blame the staff for this. Finally, the fitness center was missing a pulley on their machine so you could only use half of the machine. I took a photo and I will place it here in the review in case helpful. A small thing I love, is the lemon water they always have in the lobby. I look forward to it every year and I will see you all next year thank you!

There was dirt and random pieces of trash in the elevator. The elevator is absolutely destroyed. The hotel rooms that were renovated look OK in the photos but it’s a complete joke when you get inside the room. Nothing fits or works properly in the rooms, this place is a complete joke.

The staff were efficient and check-in was quick. The room was clean enough, though a bit dated. The main problem with the room was that the carpet had been shampooed and had not been allowed to dry. It was damp and the room was incredibly humid. We ran the air conditioner and flushed the air in the room out several times by opening the window and the door into the hallway. Only at the very end of our stay did the swampy atmosphere start to clear up. Breakfast was very good, with many hot and cold options. I would probably stay there again because there was almost nothing in else in the area that was simple and affordable.

Had nothing to do with hotels.com but this hotel not only charged my card 3 times but 6 times! Then proceeds to say we were lying. And that we should and will be refunded in 7-10 business days. Excuse me that has put us in a negative position in our bank account with over draft fees. I will no longer stay at this location.

It was good overall, however the bathroom did not have a trash can. Breakfast was good and hotel was in a good location close to Austin. I do recommend.

Parking lot was full of shipping containers and random construction materials, limiting parking space nearby the hotel entrance.

We love it. The staff were great.

Shower is hot but the force is too low for decent shower. shower doors keep sliding open while showering, annoying water spraying out in the bathroom making the floor wet!. For a king bed, pillows are tiny… needed extra pillows, they were out! Wall are not probably insulated, I can hear people talking in lobby snd next room. Lobbies are not air conditioned, they do reek old smells. Coffee in room and Breakfast is cheap and bad tasting. Hot water in flask is luke warm for tea.. Breakfast is minimal… compared to other similar priced hotels.

They are doing renovations, but of course they aren't going to give you a room that is torn up. I wish the beds were bigger. The pool was clean, the rooms needed a light vacuum but other than that it was just a hotel
