staff very kind and helpful, breakfast nice and pool not too bad, lovely size room for price, nice toiletries in room, gym facilities but could do with more, area in reception to sit and free flavoured water with fruit and cookies pool slightly on the lower side as it’s small and has no sun beds, location not the best, slightly rough area and nothing around. about a 20-30 minute walk to a nearest store but i expected that as the room was so cheap for 2 double beds for $87 per night

We stayed overnight after a concert at Scoot Inn. There is a Bunch of construction, but it was worth the effort. Breakfast choices were turkey sausage, seasoned potatoes, cheese omelette. Pastries,yogurt, and cereals. Highly recommend. The coffee was great too and available all the time

I have stayed in Holiday Inn before but this property seems little sub standard room condition specifically bathroom.

The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the breakfast ihd in the morning. The front clerk was friendly and approachable letting me know exactly what was needed for my check in. Unfortunately, the breakfast was limited either because the machine to make the pancakes was down or not enough was made causing a shortage for a particularly dish. Additionally, the Internet connection was not properly connecting to my phone or the TV so I didn't have access to it.

The staff were friendly enough. However, the room was not well kept. Their website says recently renovated but not my room. The carpets had stains, the furniture is flaking apart, and the wallpaper looks old. The lighting in the room was not good either. And my bedding looked yellow, but that could have been the lighting. Both my sink and my bathtub did not drain properly. The sink had a massive crack in it. The breakfast in the mornings were also not good. The eggs were salty, the fruit on Tuesday morning looked as if it was from the Tuesday before, & the pork sausages barely looked cooked. The gym was ok but could have been better. Only one elevator was working with no signage. Everything in the hotel just a decade old & falling apart. Not to mention, the hotel is surrounded by gates for construction and directly next to the loud highway. On the plus side, if cookies are your thing, they did have cookies.

The property is in dire need of a renovation. On the last night of my stay, both elevators stopped working, which made check-out the next morning a real challenge (had a larger suitcase that needed to be taken down multiple flights of stairs). The laminate flooring was peeling off the floor and the walls were wrecked—I’m surprised that it’s not under major reconstruction. The room was clean, but the AC was struggling even though the temperatures were not very high in March. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Emily at the front desk was super sweet. Very friendly and check in was smooth. Hotel was quiet, the breakfast was good The WiFi was horrible and the hallway smelled funny. I had to have cleaning strip my bedding because there was a stain on it and the pillow. And all I got was a sorry about that. But it got cleaned

My husband will be contacting the property. Around midnight another person entered our room saying it was his. My husband was in his underwear and l was naked. This is not professional and left us feeling unsafe.

I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT....We always use Holiday Inn Express because we have found that they USUALLY do not rely on chemicals to overcome lack of cleanliness, however, this location did not meet Holiday Inn Express Standards on odors in the room. The smells of odors and the smell of chemicals to overcome those odors were outside our expectations for sure. Everywhere else was fine. The staff was nice.

Internet and TV was not working until later the first night. The elevator never working when we were there.

Breakfast was nice I told them they overcharged me. What I was supposed to pay on booking was different at the checkout and the lady at the desk said she didn’t know why and still proceeded to charge me 199 a night.

Great price through booking at a great location my Then Lady choose but we had escalating prices due to Rodeo Austin the followed by SXSW weekend thst was announced would not happen. A man at the front desk was very difficult to deal with and scared my Then girlfriend terribly by sending the cleaning staff to force her out after I had called from the room to say we were staying and that I would be down to pay after confirming we could reuse our cash deposit. On the last night, my Then Girlfriend’s Birthday, she agreed to pay and got in a rush and went down to do it before I could get her CVC code into my booking.com account and it caused quite a drastic insane rate increase in the price b/c, even though she was trying to be nice, she did not know how to use MY payment system through booking.com and the person and the front desk to pay. Mallory had been great to work with but, The Manager, a man, was impossible on every occasion I dealt with and he forced me out of the room on my THEN Girlfriend’s BIRTHDAY? He refused to let me stay for $500 on her birthday which caused me to have to book a place so far away in San Marcos that b/c of the escalation of price to to the addition of an “OFFICAL UK ARTIST” event invitation, to the announced “no SXSW music. Weekend”, on Sunday that I booked and was canceled on all on her birthday. It was because of my THEN girlfriend’s kindness and confusion on? HER BIRTHDAY, that she LEFT ME and I Have been UNABLE TO FIND A ROOM, since the San Marcos cancellation and stay in New Braunfels. I have been without a room and a a WHOLE BUNCH OF MADNESS, has occurred up off of RUNDBERG, that I am not sure what is going on and need to call CORPORATE ING. Need help, refunds, answers and a solution to my booking.com system of booking rooms that I don’t think will happen by getting her CVC code now that she has Left me. I need help and a place to stay.

Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice. It was not disclosed there was construction. That would have been nice to know. Hard to find as the roads were also under construction and didn’t see the sign. There was a sweaty water smell in room. Floor all torn up in elevator lobby on 4. Was a little surprised.

We stayed one night and had a pet with us, a dog. The hotel charged us $50 for the pet, even though the information in the Expedia page said just $15 per night per pet. Asked to talk to a manager on duty, but according to the front desk, because it was a weekend, there was none on site. The front desk called a manager, but said that it was the hotel policy to charge $50, it didn't matter what the Expedia page said.

The tv didn’t work at first (but they did fix it fast and efficiently), the heater didn’t work without making the fire alarm go off, there was hair like someone shaved there face/body in the shower before even using it, the shower took forever to get warm it also was incredibly hard to pull the tab to change it from a bath to a shower had to wrap a towel around it and use all my strength, the floors were sticky, and I left after seeing TWO different cockroaches crawl out the sink!!! Would not recommend… only plus side was the staff was friendly and helpful.

Terrible staff, everything is covered in dust and the entire hotel, from the lobby to the rooms has a terrible smell between cigar and humidity.

Room had an awful wet mold smell. Sink was super wobbly. Really thought it was going to fall off the wall. Hotel was hot. Breakfast did not have alot of warm food option. We stay at alot of holiday inns and this was very low end.

The lobby lacks air conditioning. The air conditioning in the room was excessively noisy. It was not the best part of town so I was grateful that the parking lot was very well lit, however, also, it was impossible to fully close the blackout shades so the room was very bright from the well lit parking lot.

There is nothing around this hotel to see or do, its just a place to sleep in for one night and move on to something better.

Poor customer service and cleanliness. The first room they gave us smells like someone urinated all over the carpet and when I told them, the front desk said "I know. Let me move you to another room." So if you are aware of that already, why assign that room to a customer?

We jusstay one night, the room was clean 👌, The A/C work excellent, The breakfast was good have varieties, but of course can add other options to getting better because guests looks for that.but yes I will stay there again .I didn't get in the pool but was ok, not to big

I was so incredibly impressed with my stay! The bed was so comfortable. The pillows were absolutely wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean. It was a great cool temperature. We slept great. There was no noise. The bathroom was clean. The water temperature was great and the breakfast was probably some of the best breakfast I’ve had anywhere the quality of the food was Exceptional. I absolutely will return to Holiday Inn in the future. I had an excellent experience.

When checking in they ask for a $100 deposit that’s not shared on ihg website and should be especially when booking 3rd party or even on the ihg app. The elevator was down and we’re stuck on having to get an upper floor going up and down the stairs the whole stair.

Actual check-in was not bad. When we got to the room, we noticed that the door lock was not working. The door could be opened even if it was supposedly locked. We had to re pack our things and move to another room. The bed frame had a metal bar sticking out under the bedskirt and it cut my husbands calf. Fortunately it was not a deep cut. The gentleman who fixed the metal piece stated that he would recommend that the front desk discount our second night stay. That did not happen. The body wash bottle was full but it did not dispense the product. I had to bathe with shampoo.

Everyone was really nice & informative. They answerred any and all of my questions, I had DOVE in the room to use at my disposal which is a plus and the breakfast was hot & plentiful every morning! My only complaint is the parking, its literally not enough spaces. But dont let that overshadow anyone from coming, this place was very clean.

I confronted the front desk and apologized that it's not available because of so-and-so reasons, well in fact she can just told me earlier while checking in; and i already paid for that room. Poor communication towards clients. While the rest were okay.

We took of the no disturb sign before we left. The housekeeping staff did not come and clean. Was a little disappointed to come to a messy room.

I went to check in around 2:30 am after 5 hours of driving. I was extremely tired and wanted rest. I went to my room, the key didn’t work. I had a lot of luggage with me and had to tote it back down stairs. Told the front desk. She went up to check and told me to wait down stairs. She told me all was good just for me to go back up and get again my new keys didn’t work. Again back down with my luggage. She assigned me a new room. Well the new room had one night assigned to it so when I left during the next day, my key once again didn’t let me in room. The room smelled so bad of mold, my AC Kept making noises as if it was rising out side. I really want a refund on this terrible experience. I’ve never had a bad experience with a hotel.

Clean facility. We requested an additional bedding set and front desk delivered it to our room without a delay. The front road is under construction, but it does not stop Holliday Inn delivered good service and accessible area.

I enjoyed the hotel. It was a little noise on the next door at night.

Room smelt like urine, staff was good, rooms were not cleaned properly and the the building is run down and old and moldy

I didnt like all the construction in the area, but the hotel cant be blamed for that. The room was clean. Hotel rooms always smelll a bit musty until you run the AC for a while. The room was clean. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

Under construction. Sign not visible. Bathroom/ shower fauce not working properly. It seemed like the tub/shower faucet was about to come off from the wall. Hard to get the shower running since water would accumulate.

The hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. There was no movie rental capability in the television. The breakfast could have used a few more wheat-free options.

The area around was unsafe. The area around was rundown and the hotel itself needed work. There was a white substance on the wood floors that was there our entire trip. Never cleaned up.

I have no complaints about this property. Everything was nice tidy clean, and breakfast was good.

Staff was fantastic; however, our in room heater didnt work so we froze all nite.

Stayed 3 nights. Only thing I didn’t like was the feather pillows. Once they go flat they’re as hard as a rock! Otherwise a good place to stay.

I was visiting a family member in the hospital unexpectedly and this hotel was conveniently located and well priced. Every employee that I interacted with was extremely pleasant! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well sized.

Others may know this but this was the first time that I had to pay a $9.95 charge directly to the hotel for maintenance(?). Apparently this is for most IHG hotels. Overall a good uneventful stay.

The bathroom tub is very slippery. Wife slipped and hurt both her elbow, thigh and back of the head. Thank God we did not call emergency. Ice pack and Tylenol helped. Complaint about this incident and they said they will lay a slip resistant mat.. Hope they do it quick . Room 220.

I requested a King bed and we got two queens which was okay. BUT the room wreaked of cigarettes and i have asthma. I hated my stay there!

Something I want to mention is that when I went down to grab something for breakfast (since you include it in the price) on Sunday at 9:27 am, there was almost no food left. And when I say almost nothing, it was just cereal, yogurt, and some leftover potatoes. Breakfast is served until 10 am, and several families, including us, arrived around 9:30. The ladies who were ‘cleaning’ the area said there was no more food (with a really bad attitude by the way) I’m sorry, but breakfast is supposed to be served until 10 am. Another thing to mention, the I-35 freeway is under construction, and if you’re coming from south to north, there is no access to the hotel. You have to take the next exit on the frontage road, which, by the way, takes about 10 to 20 minutes because everything is under construction in that area.

Staff at the holliday in were super freindly and inviting to notch service! The room is what you expect at a holliday inn every thing was clean and fresh. The beds were soft and easy to sleep on. For the price its was exceptional!

I drove 7hrs and from the moment I checked in Mr. Neal was welcoming & hospitable & greeted me with a smile. My room was clean & in a quiet are. Overall the hotel was clean and everyone I came in contact with were pleasant and kind.

This property charged me $9.95 for nothing.

I stayed one night and as soon as we walked in there was a wasp nest by the side door cockroaches crawling on the floor and some dead ones in the stair place. As soon as I walked into the room it smelt like pee and it smelt like that the whole time. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming since it was the entire room smelling like that. Couldn’t move to a different room as it was fully booked. Not sure I would stay here again

Was there for a business trip. Lady at the front desk was very nice and professional. Hotel overall was clean, but our room smelled like mildew bad… beds weren’t the softest but overall a nice stay.

They first gave us wrong room, we were given keys to someone else’s room, and there was someone in there. Then toilet made noises annoying at night. The breakfast ended an hour early we didn’t get to eat. Etc etc etc

Room was badly smell . One night we stayed in the same room not available room next day change the room also not satisfactory.

The lady at the counter was informed by my daughter and another guest that there was a smell of gas in the air she brushes it off as if it was no big deal! She tells my daughter that the maintenance man was gone for the day so my daughter informes me of what’s was going on so I kindly walked in from outside and asked her what was she going do about the situation and she give me the same answer about the maintenance man being gone for the night so I informed her that she might want to call the fire department because I didn’t believe it was safe for any of us to be there without knowing what could happen so by the time we made it up to our room the lady at the front desk did indeed called and had the fire department out. I wanted to make sure she called so we called just in case she didn’t and they let us know that someone from the front desk had called it in . 🙏 they stoped the leak and after a while we was able to go back to our rooms.
