    This place is definitely a hidden gem. Not too many amenities (no pool, no breakfast) but the stay was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with our rooms.

    So if you don’t check in before 11:00pm they will cancel your reservation. I had a reservation for a week and was arriving late so I called ahead to tell them. I showed up at about 1:00am and was told that I was charged for that night but couldn’t get a room. They also cancelled my reservation and tried to upsell me another reservation for an extra $100, even though I had called to say I would be late. It was a huge disruption in my plans. I will never do business again with these bait and switch film flam artists. Buyer beware…

    The price is very reasonable and the room was extremely clean. I really liked that the room comes with a small kitchen, which was very convenient—especially for longer stays or if you want to cook your own meals. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it felt just like being at home. I will definitely come back again! 💙

    Cheap for a reason. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, but you will smell cigarette and marijuana smoke from neighboring rooms.

    The staff were rude, they won't tell you anything, but if you want to extend stay, front desk just said the manager said you are not welcomed to stay here anymore. Complete unprofessional, wrote to corp office without any response.

    No dishes or silverware, but that makes sense. I bought .50 bowls and spoons at the Walmart and I was fine. The refrigerator was new, clean and cold. The microwave and stove top were spotless and functional.

    The staff was amazingly sweet and helpful (especially the lady at check in at night she went above and beyond). I had requested rooms of my friends and I to be on the same floor and she put us on the same floor. Rooms were clean and stocked. No complaints, will stay here again on my next visit!

    It was comfortable for the 8 days we stayed. The staff were nice. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the water pressure in the shower. The only thing I can complain about are the towels that were provided in the room. When room service changed the towels out, they were replaced with stained white towels and another persons hair engrained into the fiber of the towels. Other than that, we had a good stay.

    I never give reviews, especially negative ones. Unfortunately, this time it feels necessary. We showed up to the hotel tired and after a late flight + some delays, only to find out that they booked somebody else in our room. The guy at the front desk was nice about it, but that’s still completely unreasonable. We then had to scramble to find a different hotel and ended up having to pay a fortune because it was busy and last minute. I also lost my deposit that I put down on Expedia to secure my room and haven’t been able to get it back. Overall this place was a complete scam.

    I was originally suppose to stay form Friday to the following Saturday. I had intended extending my stay (for work purposes) long term, paying per week. On Thursday of that week, I requested to extend my stay. I was quoted almost double what my original rate was. The front desk clerk told me that didn't look right to her and to come back tomorrow. So Friday morning, I went back and same thing happened. Friday night after being at work for 15 hours, same thing... I was told to come back in the morning. I explained that I had to work 15 hours that day so I really need it taken care of first thing in the morning. Friday night around 11:45 pm, my hotel phone started ringing and woke me up. The lady from the front desk was very rude and demanded that I leave the room immediately or pay almost double what I paid at check out. She then made me come down to the front desk to prove to her that my reservation was until Saturday at noon. She stated that she had no record of me paying so then I had to prove to her the payment cleared my bank. After all that she then still tried to charge me almost $100 to go back to my room for the night. She said in their system I was suppose to check out on Friday.

    The staff is unfriendly and uncommitted. I stayed for 3 weeks. My car was broken into and two times I had bugs in my bed. No response from the management. They refused to provide video recordings to the local police after I filed a report. For 10 days the only elevator in the „hotel“ was out of order. I happened to stay on the 4th floor. Total disaster. The stuff was hiding. The laundry is a dirty filthy place. The front loaded washing machine was full of dog hair and even after me complaining wasn’t cleaned. Stay away from this place!!! YOU DESERVE BETTER.

    Great and helpful customer service from friendly front desk guy (Cedric), who helped me work through a problem that befell me (my arrival was delayed by a day because of a minor emergency, and he helped me troubleshoot my reservation when I needed to re-book because of the delay). The location of the hotel also was great because it sits at intersection of two major highways. Great place and competitive price for extended stay, with a big-box store within walking distance for essentials. The room was cozy and included everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. All in all I was very pleased and would definitely stay here again when visiting Austin.

    Honestly, it was one of the better hotels i have stayed at. Altgough a little overpriced compared to others in the area, it was worth the money. It was clean and quiet and very spacious and homey. One of the front desk clerks, Crystal, was eapecially nice and helpful and made it feel more homelike and not just another hotel stay. I would recommend this hotel to a friend for sure.

    We had a guaranteed reservation for F1 weekend, which we had made weeks in advance. We selected this hotel because it was near our off airport rental car com9any as it was impossible to get a rental car reservation. We arrived at hotel around 10:30 pm, they say they have no record of our reservation. No apology no nothing. We call hotels.com to complain they call hotel which takes a while because they aren’t manning desk. Finally they get through and hotel says they are overbooked. No apology no nothing they couldn’t have cared less. It’s a busy weekend with the race and there are no hotel rooms anywhere and the prices are jacked sky high . Yuri at hotels.com did the best he could to fin$ us a place. The rat3 was double what we paid and the place was not as good as the hotel we booked but at least we had a room. Hotels.com covered the difference in rate. Meanwhile at the useless uptown suites, they wouldnt even let us use the bathroom due to covid. This is in Texas a state where no one wears a mask. The attitude of th3 staff was disgusting. Their over booking cost us hundreds of dollars extra as we had to take Uber’s to the new hotel and then back fo4 the rental car. Do not waste your money at this hotel.

    There was pee splattered on the floor around the toilet. The room had a weird musty smell. The AC kept turning off even tho I set it at a low setting and at constant. I don’t think I’ll come back again

    The staff including the manger were VERY rude. After booking my room at least a week in advance when my family and I showed up they said they didn’t have any rooms available but yet I had a confirmation email in hand. They gave no explanation and didn’t really want to talk to me. I will be filing a complaint with their corporate office as well as the Better Business Bureau. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    What I liked was the property was affordable and clean and quite. The staff except for the housekeeper need to work on there Attitudes; very Rude belittling some of the customers. System was down they seem as if it was the customers fault. I give this business 3of5 stars.

    Loved the room. We had to switch rooms at first because when we tried to watch tv the network wasnt connected and the maintenance man had left for the day. Other than that everything was amazing.

    Was not able to check-in, even though I reserved a room in my husband's name. I am awaiting an ID from DPS, and the photo copy of my ID that was mailed to me was (as told to me by Uptown Suites staff (a Hispanic Male and a Caucasian lady who said "they" were the manager)) was not acceptable to use to register as a guest. I was humiliated and embarrassed as a result of this experience. I had caught a Lyft to Uptown Suites with a lot of bags and was eventually told to vacate the premises or APD will come to escort us off the property since I could not "properly pay.. or produce correct documentation to present upon checking in". I was upset and totally disappointed. And, I was still charged outrageously.

    They cancelled our reservation—the day of our reservation. When I asked the front desk clerk she said it was about 2pm when they cancelled. We tried to check in at 4 pm. No reasons given, just that corporate cancelled it. No one at corporate would pick up the phone. Or return phone calls. Aside from all that, the location is crazy hard to get to with two freeways and construction everywhere.

    Great hotel, with a great gym and laundry. Room was clean, internet was fast and everything in the kitchen worked well. Location was OK, 2 buses minimum to get downtown. Window in the room didn't open, and it would have been nice to be able to open it for some fresh air. Kitchen didn't come with any cutlery/crockery/cookware - apparently it's $40 for a kitchen set, but we were able to find the few things we needed at the Walmart down the road.

    The only thing I found a bit odd was there is a kitchen available, but nothing to use in that kitchen (ie crockery, glasses, cookware etc) which is something I would expect if it's listed as being available.

    The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the facilities were very good; it was quiet and comfortable. What more could you ever ask for in a room? There was wonderful amenities with a coffee maker and microwave and refrigerator and we were impressed and intend to stay here again when we come into Austin. We come to Austin frequently.

    Price & size of room was decent for what we needed. Had we been planning on hanging around the hotel now, probably would have chosen something different but it was decent. Wasn’t explained the WiFi process very well when we checked in so that was a little confusing but heard someone else explain it the next day when someone else checked in and it was better explained.

    There is a highway right around the corner so I asked for a quiet room from the other side. "All rooms are quiet and you cannot hear the highway at all" they said and got me a room from 4th floor highway side. Yep, a lot of noise especially early in the morning when big lorries try to go uphill the highway! Additionally the AC makes a lot of noise and the fridge was one of the noisiest ones. All in all a "nice" week among all the noise. Additionally, the cleaning person visited only once during the whole week

    They did not bother themselves to find a solution either. People at the desk keep repeating the same words and said that there was nothing they could do to fix it. Basically, they said us to leave and find another hotel. Strange thing was when we were sitting in the lobby and tried to find another available place to stay, one family came and faced the same situation that we faced. However, after some discussions (apparently they were better than me at this!), they got a two bed room which has never been suggested to us. Before this, I specifically asked to manager if we could have other room options in their premises and they said "NO" for couple of times. Due to bad management and careless reception, I would recommend everyone to stay away from this "so called" hotel!

    First impression lasted throughout my stay. The reception was very hospitable, the location centralize for downtown Austin and closeness to the airport, new hotel and description that matched. I am planning to stay there againn next time in Austin.Thank you Miss Christy and staff.

    Only thing I did not like is that they have a very nice kitchen in the room but 0 utensils.. we went for a long weekend holiday and looked for a room with a kitchen since we like cooking but guess what. No pots pans knifes forks plates.. nothing. And the ac unit is super loud. Other than that it was lovely

    I have to say that the Uptown Suites is my new go to hotel in Austin. Very affordable, location is great, the staff is wonderful. They go above and beyond to accommodate the guests. My experience was a wonderful experience. The room is great for all of your personal items and the decor is amazing.

    My stay has been five stars the room was clean the bed is comfortable it comes with a full size refrigerator the cutes kitchen. The t.v. is huge and clear multi phone charging outlet manager Natura is great the staff Chicora, Nick and Fernando professional. I stayed a month felt like family very accommodating the location is mins from downtown this is the place to stay pet friendly. They have a great gym this is my uptown suites north by the way the price was reasonable my kids enjoyed their stay as well as myself. Vivian

    The Free internet is the fastest I've ever experienced in a hotel! Download speed was consistently 20+ Mbps. There is also a laundry facility on site at $1.75 per wash. This is my new go to place when in Austin

    They are a fairly new property just open for a few months. Their checkin process was very lengthy, they go over basically everything you could easily read online. A shorter welcome would suffice. We had already been waiting in line in a hot lobby so it would’ve been nice not to have to listen to a paragraph long script especially when they show the amenities through features on the tv in the lobby.
