Everything was great except my room was along the hwy and the noise made it hard to sleep. Also the AC was so loud everytime it turned off amd on.

Clean, friendly staff, great view from our room. Difficult to get to because of construction and one way streets.

The garage is very dirty. The walls in hall ways are dirty and paint is chiping away. Elevator has grafity ingraved on metal walls. The room has a weir smell and carpet was torn where it meets the bathroom floor. The worst part is there was no hot water and water was not draining in tub. When i told front desk they did nothing about it. So i took a cold shower. The pictures of website does not match the property.

It might be old but very well maintain and clean rooms. Centric location with easy access to nearby highways and the popular nightlife

Please do not stay at this hotel!! I had a cold shower because when i woke up there was no hot water. After my day I rushed back to take a hot shower and again no hot water. I called the front desk , but they tell you anything to get you off phone, they told me they would send an engenieer to my hotel room, but he never came. Please do not stay here if you like showing with hot water . The bar attendant was very nice. That was the only nice thing about the hotel. Defenitly run down.

Stayed two nights for a concert and the stay was great. Clean , spacious and close by to moody venue. Had a nice stay and would definitely stay again, if we have another concert in the future. Was very clean and the rooms were great and comfy.

This is an excellent location. Steps away from Town Lake and Raney Street. The free parking was a bonus. The hotel is a little dated, but clean & the location was fantastic for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

The pool and its opening hours and breakfast buffet were nice. We had a room on top floor above the garage, the view was nice, no noise from outside in the room, carpets in the room were comfortable and nice touch was that all the cosmetics provided was from Dove. The room was fairly large, bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were so nice I would love to have them at home. Complimentary parking in the parking house was very convenient. As a European, I was surprised about the minimum of vegetables in the breakfast selection, but is probably not hotel specific. The hotel is located near the highway, which is very practical but when in the pool or on the terrace, you hear all of it.

This is our second stay and we continue to enjoy the hotel. We asked if there were any lake view rooms available and were told that would be an extra $40 a night. I don't remember that from our previous stay. Great breakfast, friendly folks....the only little bit of a downside is getting in and out of the place is a bit tricky until you get the lay of the land. We will be back. The price is fair....and good.

Maddox was a pleasure to work with on the staff and the rest of the staff were helpful also only complaint was the bed had a hole in the mattress where everyone was sleeping on one side so I had to sleep on the opposite side they should flip the mattress every so often and also the walls were quite dirty

We had a room with a lovely view over the lake, and a good view of the daily sunsets. We didn't appreciate the Staff being petty when serving food and drink; after paying for breakfast it was galling to be told if we had a glass of fruit juice we shouldn't really be having coffee too! Especially when there was a coffee machine right there with, seemingly, help-yourself cups right beside it.

The hotel was okay during my stay. There was an incident where the fire alarm was pulled and several guests including myself had to descend the stairs on floors up to level 11. Check in is late as I could not check in earlier unless I paid a $50 fee. I typically use Holiday Inn for hotel stays, but this trip missed the mark. The staff was friendly which was what highlighted the best part of staying here.

It was a good stay for a few nights though did not appreciate the early knock on my door asking when I was checking out when I still had 3.5 hours left on my stay. Every moment of sleep was needed for my long day and long drive back home but that didn’t happen and the trip home was a struggle. If I’m there after checkout please harass me , I get that, but if I’m paying for a place to sleep…let me sleep.

The frontdesk reception was kind. The shuttle to the airport ran every half hour. The pool closed at 10pm. There was no sauna.

Public transportation is also available and I was able to get to the hotel from the airport for $1.25 on a direct bus. The staff is incredible. They even organized a free ride to a concert at the Moody Center with their airport shuffle because the driver didn’t have anything booked at the time. The pool overlooks the beautiful lake and green space. I really enjoyed my time here. Bed was comfortable. A+++

Hotel is outdated, so the photos online look much nicer than the rooms/common areas. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The road noise from IH35 made it difficult to sleep. A staff person did find another room further back, which was helpful.

There’s so many hotel’s in Austin that you can choose but , This is my favorite hotel since I’m from Austin! :) I love the area. I can just go walk out directly to the river and the downtown/rainy street area and everything is close by.. I’m familiar already in the area and this hotel😄

The hotel near the lake had a beautiful view from the big windows. We had a wonderful breakfast as we had a variety of choices. What we love the most was the courteous manner in which Arron the waiter in charge made us feel welcomed and served us coffee. We selected our breakfast and he came back to have small conversations and made us laugh with his sense of humor. He made sure to go to everyone to help make breakfast like we were at home.

It was a wonderful stay. Great location. All staff were great and attentive. Beautiful lake view rooms. Pool view awesome. Great parking. The only thing is, they don't have a complimentary breakfast and $15.95/pp is a little much, especially for a family with little ones that will probably only have a bowl of cereal that I witnessed and so therefore he didn't eat breakfast so that his 4yr old could eat her breakfast.

We stayed for a concert for 2 nights. The room was clean, we didn't use the pool or workout room, but did enjoy the river as it is walking distance. Overall the place is good for a weekend getaway.

This was my second time staying here and I had a room with the view of the river. I absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it! The room was nice and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and well taken care of and the hotel staff were extremely kind and patient with their guests. I’m looking forward on returning for my next trip to Austin in the future 👍

The area around the hotel is dirty. That’s not the fault of the hotel staff so I didn’t downgrade them. I would prefer breakfast included. But I recognize that’s not the case and again I don’t fault the hotel.

I have a series of photos and videos from my room, and am appealing for a full refund given the state of the hotel, numerous features of the room that did not work or were damaged. Here are the formal complaints: The hotel WiFi did not work My room's TV did not work The shower in my room did not drain The towels in my room had frayed edges and were falling apart The wallpaper was peeling There was an unknown black, flaky substance on my bed sheets

Around 3 a.m., I woke up and noticed a large puddle of water on the floor, almost as if someone had just stepped out of the shower and walked across the bathroom dripping wet. It was really odd because me and my boyfriend were sleeping. The most unsettling part was that when my boyfriend went to the bathroom around 3:30 a.m., the water was completely gone. The floor was totally dry, as if the puddle had never been there at all. I’m not sure if it was something paranormal, our imagination from being tired after traveling, or if this room has some kind of story… but it was definitely a very strange night. 👻

Room had multiple hairs in shower, on toilet and sink and check in and the toilet is running. I asked 2x for the shower to be re cleaned and the toilet looked at. Guess I’ll just hear the toilet all night.

Older building in comparison to others in the city which is very clean and has been well-maintained. Easy access to the highway and the river/lake adjacent to the south. Restaurants/bars on Rainey Street within a 5-10 minute walk. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking a big plus.

Was okay not worth it

The room was clean and well appointed, but even on the 11th floor the noise from IH 35 was prevalent. The hotel has a pool, but it is not heated, so we didn’t use it.

We’ve stayed here before, front desk is always great, this time they were especially helpful! Kudos to Nicholas! The hotel is conveniently located.

The room was lacking because the sink had ants coming out of it. Which got on my brothers clothes and bit up his back. We didn’t notice until the next day which was too Late….

We went to bar after seeing a show and ordered some dessert. Went the piece of cheesecake arrived we immediately noticed that it had mold on it! The bartender immediately took it away and did not charge us for it. We sat and talked while watching a game on TV and the bartender delivered some cheese sticks as an apology for the dessert mishap. They were good. He was extremely apologetic for everything and did not charge us for anything. The hotel's location was perfect for our visit, close to ACL, which was our primary reason for choosing to stay there. Overall, our experience was good.

Clean room & friendly staff

The rooms need updated. Pillows are terrible, tv old. Furniture very old and out dated

We also barely got any sleep because we could hear a baby crying all night. Of course, this isn’t the parents’ fault, but it felt like the baby was right in our room — the sound insulation was that poor. Lastly, the room door had a noticeable gap that let in light from the hallway, which also made it easy to hear every footstep and conversation outside.

This facility was on the West side of I-35. Very easy access off of Southbound highway and just as easy transitioning to Northbound I-35

The room was clean and comfy, staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Hotel infrastructure looks dated, however its location is fantastic!!! Easy access to parks and highway.

Rommwas was good size, but bathroom was a bit compact. Lighting in the shower could be better. Front desk staff very helpful.

Clean. Pretty simple restaurant, but all you need for a few days. No room service, but they make it up for you downstairs very nicely and you just have to take it up the elevator yourself--no problem. Good parking set up in a very very hard to park area of town. Yes, it's a very old building, but it met our needs, clean and functional in all ways we needed. Only negative was one of the elevators was out, but we never had delays getting up and down to 7th floor.

For the price we paid ($500) I would not stay again. Hotel is a bit rundown. Could really use some renovations. Rooms have a bit of a smell.

While at Breakfast the stafff -Maria was not so friendly. Not the best start to my day. I paid extra for breakfast. When I asked for a coffee she pointed me down the hall. As I sat and watched her serve all other tables coffee and juice. Very rude. When you pay over $300.00 a night for a room you expect a little friendliness.

Close to downtown and Town Lake. Homeless people hanging out in front of the location was not very welcoming.

Body lotion is expired, they should clean the bottles often so this doesn't happen, I put lotion in my afec and immediately smelled the lotion was no good anymore, please this could damage peoples skin etc

We were there for a Tx Longhorn football game. This hotel was in a great location and very convenient for us. Everyone was super nice and check in and out was super easy. The rooms were comfy and clean.

Needs to be remodeled. Not worth the daily rates. The fifth level smelled as you are finding your room.

and larger selection of dishes in the restaurant/bar. The service was outstanding for both the bar and the waitress for the breakfast they were really nice and helpful.

Unfortunately they had a power cut the day before so had no A/C and it was very hot however, they offered a discount which I’m still waiting for Expedia to refund me for. Hotel staff were lovely

The power went out for about 7 hours one of the nights I stayed here. The rooms got to be so hot and dark. Staff was great and handled everything the best they could it was just extremely inconvenient and unfortunate.

The power went out , no elevators and nine floors up was rough. Apparently there was a fire and the fire alarm went off but we didn’t get it on the ninth floor , so not good! Ended up checking out at about 11pm and driving 21/2 hours home instead of suffering through the heat. We were fully refunded but honestly that doesn’t make up for the fact that the alarm didn’t work and driving home when we expected to have breakfast and stay in the area a bit. The free shuttle was great though, took us anywhere within two miles. The staff were very nice, so even though we had a bad experience they handled it well and I wouldn’t rule out staying there again.

The property is tired! Could use some renovation. Close to the Lady Bird Lake but also very close to the highway. Walking distance to a few cool spots. Staff was nice.

My room faces the highway and it was a bit noisy. Otherwise, no issues with my stay. Great location as it's walking distance to Rainier Street where there are lots restaurants and bars.

This was a great stay but the food is not great very little breakfast options.

We chose this hotel for location and complimentary parking. This was an older hotel. It was in remodeled shape, looked nice and clean. ALL staff was SUPER friendly. Location was great for walking along the river and to Rainey St. Enjoyed our stay.

Easy check-in, free parking. Convenient to venues downtown. Only drawback is they didn't have usb ports for charging.

It was very loud and we were given a handicap room which was very uncomfortable in the bathroom

The room was clean,staff friendly the parking is a little tight as not many spaces. Breakfast is $14.95 which I did not try. Typical sausage bacon , eggs , potatoes, French toast buffet style.

The room and the view was beautiful. The room was clean I have no complaints other the. The fact I feel the staff was not that friendly but other than that it was a great stay.

I've stayed in this hotel a few times before for business and it was phenomenal. Unfortunately this time was not great. I brought my family to take advantage of the super convenient lake access for paddleboarding. First impression, there was opened food left from previous guests in the cabinets, the bathroom floor tiles were broken and loose to the point of shifting catching your bare feet when you got in and out of the shower and there was no hot water. Then the second night we had no A/C or hot water. I finally asked to change rooms but the entire hotel was experiencing significant issues. We were put in a slightly smaller room on the other side of the hotel for the final night, but when it still was not cool enough to be comfortable, we left early. Been happy before so maybe they were just caught off guard by the multitude of issues. The front desk staff was very apologetic and helpful but it did force us to cut our vacation short.

Pool are not in great condition, towels are in the laudry. Breakfast optional at 14$ is too much for sure, the selection is very low. AC is too loud and the bathroom really small.

I go to Austin regularly and I always stay here. I love being right next to the running trail by the lake as I run everyday and sometimes I also bring my bicycle with me and use it on the trail as well.

We came to Austin ti bring grandson home and decided to spend the night found this hotel downtown and very easy to find and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room clean hotel was quiet. Need to upgrade to USB port in the room other then . Everything was great

Everything was great! The room was clean, there was no wait time for check-in, and the staff was super friendly. The only thing I could complain about was the air conditioning. It was really poor quality and dirty inside, which made the air dirty and not good for health or breath.

Had a top floor lake view room. It was outstanding! The morning breakfast could not have been any better. Been staying at this hotel since the 70's. It's amazing how well it has been maintained. Will be back.

Check in/out was great. Breakfast staff was so nice and helpful. In the room though, there was barely any hot water, shower smelled like sewage. You can not connect to the “ smart TV” only watch local channels, microwave & fridge barely functioning. The pool was nice. Charged an extra $50 check in as deposit (still waiting for that back) and breakfast $14.95 a person

Walls were banged on. Sprayed with chemicals so bad still coughing. Hit with DEW and male receptionist mocked by symptoms and would not let me change rooms. Still ill from my stay and seeking medical attention.

Was dealing with harassment from nearby walls and DEW attacks that gave me a migraine. I tried to change rooms and bearded older gentleman working front reception was not only rude to me but made fun of me for having a migraine and essentially told me I could not change rooms. Also stalked by some of staff. Really creepy experience. Maintenance staff were helpful in changing the AC. Getting stalked by other staff and having my walls drilled into was creepy and disturbing and hit me with DEW hard enough to cause severe neurological symptoms and difficulty seeing.

Close to city and river path

The hotel was right next to our kayaking trip on Lady Bird lake. All the staff was very friendly and nice. The hotel was very clean. Darryl our shuttle driver was amazing. Close to 6th st as well. Will definitely stay here next time we are in town.
