Nice hotel for short stay.

This hotel was a perfect distance to my sons’ apartment, and it would be perfect if they didn’t charge $15/ day for parking. The place needs new TV’s as well, which they are working on, but the staff and service was excellent!

Nice, Quiet off Substantial Neighborhood. Use Maps to find. Be Patient. Well Worth it

Alexis was amazing customer service was amazing me and my man had a wonderful time

Location was off the highway but almost hidden in a neighborhood. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The toilet could have been just a little cleaner but other than that everything was great. Could use some lighting that wasn't so bright but I just turned on the bathroom one when I needed that.
- 4/5
The area. I don’t believe the air conditioner was working but the fan was. I didn’t like paying for parking or breakfast. We ate out.

Will definitely never stay at this location again.

It’s more on a residential area not that many restaurants around it. Staff is really friendly. Bar was good, bartender friendly too. Breakfast was good could be a little better.

The bad thing is that the parking and thre breakfast are not free unfortunately

Alexis and Nia at the front desk!! I had to interact with them quite a bit because of problems with our room and they both were friendly and very helpful We were two seniors and one required oxygen 100% of the time. There was a phone in the room, but the line was dead and maintenance couldn’t fix it. This was disconcerting because our room was very far from reception. The fan only had two speeds: high and auto. It was hard to regulate the temperature and when the fan was on it blew hard straight onto the desk where we sat a lot. The room was ok but crowded for two people and two beds since we stayed for multiple days. The bathroom didn’t have as much counter space as I would have liked. There were more issues that I’ve forgotten by now (a few days into my return trip). But when we checked into our hotel in north Texas the next night the difference was dramatic! The cost was the same but Doubletree was lacking a lot in comfort.

The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was amazing. They comped the parking fee since the room was not available. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are spacious and will kept. The restaurant and bar are very nice. The pool areas is small but no one was in it. They have a small area where you can get snacks and drinks. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Nothing you can do about this but you can't walk to any coffee shop or cafe.

From arrival, the hotel is in an obscure part of the Arboretum and for the price, I would have expected much more from a Hilton property. We had to change rooms 3 times upon arrival due to cleanliness, and I am not overly demanding, but nasty is nasty.

The location was great, the staff was amazing, the hotel itself was pretty great. The only thing is the toilet had a black rim but otherwise, it was great!

The hotel was nice and in good shape but don’t plan on being able to sleep in. House keeping started knocking on the door around 9 and knocked every 30 minutes until I finally checked out.

Older facility in need of refurbishing and better maintenance. Still a good value.

Upon checking in the toilet in my room pretty immediately started gushing. It actually leaked through the ceiling to the reception desk below. The staff was very nice and did their best to take care of it. They quickly moved me to another room. The property wasn't very clean or in great shape.

Staff is very nice and accommodating. I stayed 4 nights. The condition of the room could’ve been much better. It smelled and my eyes and nose ran the whole time. Might be moldy. The A/C was so loud when it clicked on you could not hear the tv. Although very convenient location I will not stay here again.

As I sat in my room, I heard the lock click, and the door opened - I had the safety latch on, so they were not able to get inside. I immediately went to the door, and no one was visible. I called the front desk to investigate and was told it was a maintenance person who accidentally went to the wrong room. This behavior is not acceptable under any circumstances. Any worker should knock on a door and identify themselves before trying to access a room. They also should not run away when they realize a mistake was made. If this were truly what happened, my expectation would be for the person to remain at the door with their identification clearly displayed to explain who they are and why they were attempting to access the room. After calling the front desk, I would also expect to receive a communication from leadership letting me know the issue was documented and escalated, and assuring me there was a plan in place to reduce the chance it could happen in the future. Definitely not the response I expected from a Hilton facility.
- 5/5
I was worried about my car being stolen. The parking lot that you have to pay for does not seem secure.

Ha. Nickel and dime everything and the hotel was dirty. Broken stuff. Not happy. Said hotel was 4 star. I looked up on Google it was 3 star. It wasn’t even 3. No amenities and it was dirty. Gross.

Just an fyi-tv channels are sparse and what is on does not match the channel it says (example-tv said it was mtv but it was a weather station, said hbo, but was some sort of sport). There were several channels that were not available (Freeform, tnt, tbs). I spent my first evening watching friends reruns on Nickelodeon. Could not cast from my phone either.

Very outdated hotel. It needs major updating. Furniture is like from the 1990's and very dated. Looks like they have not done anything in 20 years. I would highly recommend that the management redo the rooms. Maybe 30 years ago, this was a nice hotel but they let it get rundown

The room was okay, the bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure was terrible, which was a big problem. The housekeeping staff was the loudest I have ever experienced. They were loud and obnoxiously talking with another from different rooms. The door to my room was not sealed at all which made it difficult to sleep in after 8:00 am. I had to put on my earbuds with loud white music just to drown them out.

Nothing Dirty flatware found on the floor in my room. Dirty table tops and counter tops in my room. The pool was filthy with garbage floating on top. The front desk staff was completely clueless, didn't know how breakfast was served; didn't know how the gate to the pool worked... The restaurant wasn't open because the cook was sick. Breakfast bar items were cold, stale and mislabeled...

Behind the sink is very dirty. The windows and curtains were also very dirty. Parking being $15 per night is insane. $20 per person for a very small breakfast buffet when the apples/fruit were greasy and old.

The room was clean but outdated and mediocre. There were a number of things that were less than ideal. The hotel gym was less nice and functional than it appears in the images: one of the two treadmills didn't work, the yoga ball was deflated, the water dispenser was out of water for all 5 days I used the gym and didn't get fixed when i mentioned it to the staff, there were no mats available (hard floor). My sink had an issue, I couldn't open or shut the drain. The shower had really poor water pressure and on two days I couldn't get hot water- when I mentioned this to the desk the person said they do sometimes have issues with the hot water and said fi i run it for like 15-20 minutes in advance its more likely to work...who plans for an extra 20 min to wait for the shower to work! The staff was always nice and friendly, but overall it was kind of meh and didnt turn out to be as nice as it was depicted online.

The room looked like it could use some help infrastructure wise. The water was cold and never warmed up, which happened to be on the coldest day of the year thus far. When I told the front desk about the issue, her response was lacking any empathy and explained that the shower may needed to have been running for 5-10 minutes BEFORE it warmed up. This has by far been one of the worst short stays that I have had in decades.

There was a constant stale smell in the room for the time of the stay. The drains in the tub and sink, were drained slow. They should be snaked regularly to remove clogs. The counters were sticky, I had to clean as best I could and lay napkins down on the surfaces near the television and desk before placing any of my person items there.

We started off the evening with checking in after driving all day, we go up to our room only to already find there was somebody IN that room. I’m saying their purse, wallets, food, everything was still in the room. Thank God we are decent people and I rushed my friend out the door telling her the room was occupied. Can you imagine? A vile person? If another person would’ve stolen that’s guests things? Money? Etc? We go back to the lobby and explain what happened and all we got was a simple I’m sorry and a “I thought that room was free” and that was it, here’s your new key enjoy your stay. When I asked about complimentary breakfast the employee just informed me of the hours and that was it. Leading me to believe it was included in with our stay or because of my hiltons honors. Well fast forward to Sunday and we consume said breakfast and we’re then told we would be charged $20 each for it. The manager on duty was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive to my friend, they DID not acknowledge that their employee made a mistake and still charged us for breakfast didn’t even apologize sincerely or correctly for the check in incident, that could’ve been a bad situation. Everyone carry’s in Texas what if that person staying in the room acted before asking questions to someone randomly walking into their room? The hotel didn’t care for our feelings or safety. Overall it was just the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at. The manager even tried to give us an HR business card for our complaint.

We will not stay at this hotel again. The location was fine, but we had to pay to park in an open lot. It should be garage parking if you have to pay. Also, the shower curtain rod was installed wrong so the curtain kept slipping into the middle of the shower, so it was basically like not having a curtain at all. When the AC kicks on, it is very loud and doesn't even keep the room cool. We didn't have an outdoor view from our room, so we looked out on the lobby/breakfast area. Very strange! I guess we could have waved at people as they eat their breakfast. The furniture in the room looked like it was from a thrift store. There was plenty of room to put a small sofa in the room for seating, but it just had a small chair in the corner. The staff was friendly.

Horrible experience. Hotel let a group destroy the neighboring room causing 4hrs of construction volume noise until they finally destroyed the room enough they flooded their room, hallway, my room, and all adjacent rooms below me. Guests were reported 3hrs before this happened. Water damage to my computer and weightlifting sensors that will cost me over 3k$ to replace.

This was a Lovely place to stay, my son flew from Nashville and we drove to Austin from Beaumont, TX to visit with him! Lots closer than Nashville! We enjoyed the stay. ALEX in the bar/restaurant was especially cordial and the front desk clerk, don't remember the name, it was the night clerk, not the female but the male. Thanks we will consider this location next time we are in Austin!

I was booked in a room facing to the interior courtyard arboretum which was not great. I think hotel would have been fine if booked in a room on the outside walls of the hotel. The interior of the room was nicely furnished, clean and updated. Hotel in general is dated but has been up dated. I would only stay there again if on an outside room.

Top of the list as the worst stays. First room had a loud constant water pouring sound and loud other noises in the walls. Staff was nice and switched rooms. Second room was better when it came to the noise overall look of the room a 4. The bathroom a 1 and there was bugs running across the floor the next morning when i turn the lights on. All of our food was ruined because the refrigerator wasn't working and the next morning I realized the coffee pot nor hair dryer worked. At that point I just checked out and left that place to continue my trip.

Odd place. You have to pay to park in a surface lot at a hotel that isn’t close to downtown. Why pay $15 to park in a lot that is 1/4 full? No coffee pot in the room - that’s circa 1982. Minimum expectation is coffee in the room. And don’t go ask the lobby. They said that when they are out of coffee in the morning. They don’t make more. Oh and no small fridge in the room. Expect so much more of a doubletree.

There were fake eye lashes and hair on the night stand. Therw was a nicotine wrapper on the counter near the tv. The remote had a hardened white substance in that had to be removed before use. Not to mention I minght not have been able to find another room, and I didn't want the hassle. Extremely disappointed. I forgot to mention I also had to pay for parking!!!

While doing the reservation, there was no indication that the parking was a paid parking, there was no one at the reception desk upon arrival or when checking out. The room temperature and thermostat was not operational, the tub was not draining properly after taking a shower! Overall it was a disappointment stay at a hotel with the Hilton name attached to it!

Pool was lime green. Checked in on a Thursday…when I asked the front desk what was up, they said that the pump was broken and that a replacement was expected on the next Wednesday (I checked out on Sunday). So there went the swimming. Also…ice machine was broken. When I asked the front desk, they gave me a bag of ice. So there went that. Lastly…the mini fridge did not keep ice cream cold/frozen. After about an hour, I essentially had a pint of a milk shake.

Front desk staff was great, but I didn’t like the fact that we didn’t have room service clean our room after we requested it three times. We didn’t get clean towels by room service, we had to call the front desk and get them ourselves.

We didn't like having to pay for parking when you have a parking lot. This was unexpected and seems unnecessary. Other than that we enjoyed the one night stay while travelling.

Why a hotel has an outside company charging for outdoor, not supervised parking makes no sense. Charge 10 more for the room. Ridiculous

Rather than included in the room charge they charge you separately for parking. That's an additional $20+ per day. In addition booking on Expedia did not include breakfast as advertised. That's another $20 for an a la carte breakfast. Had I known about these additional charges I would not have booked here

Room was ok it was clean at least. Rest of hotel not so much. Large roaches in hallways. Very dusty especially by the bar area. Pool was dirty and no chairs at the pool at all. Double tree has great properties but it seems this one has been forgotten! Front desk African American lady does overnights she’s terrible. Attitude to go with it as well!

The lady at the front desk was excellent on checkin and check out. Two things let the stay down. The place smelled of weed in the elevator, in the entrance and even in our room. Second $4 for a bottle of water in our room!

The hotel is being renovated so as can be expected there was dust due to construction. The hotel is indeed in need of renovation as it is quite outdated. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Given the circumstances, I would rate it an overall good. The snack bar is very overpriced. A small bottle of wine was $27! A small bottle of ice ta was $8.50!

Will not be booking with you guys anymore I booked a room some how not on my part got booked for the next day . Guys showed up and we had to purchase a room( which we already paid for. So instead of just moving the day I had pay for another room and didn’t get my money back so there’s that

This place is under renovation and it is a complete mess. A folding table in the torn up lobby is sporadically manned as the front desk. 2 times I went down to inform them of the lack of hot water in my shower and I couldn't find anyone. There were exposed wires in places, and the view from my room looked like a bunch of frat boys or a degenerate 80s rock band had trashed the place. I tried to cope by hanging out at the bar, only to find that most common liquors weren't available as, according to the bartender, "Someone keeps taking my stuff. " A broken vent in my room would rattle loudly every time the air came on in my room. I turned up the thermostat the first 2 nights so I could sleep without the annoying noise. Unfortunately, the 3rd night it was pretty hot, so I needed the air running. I couldn't sleep with the rattling noise going off every few minutes. I finally gave up trying to sleep and decided to leave early. I went to the "front desk" at 3:30 am to check out and tell them a few things. The man at the desk was busy watching a show and didn't even look up. He mumbled for me to drop the key in the box. I could forgive a lot of things, but there is the further nickle and diming of $15/day for parking, and $20 for breakfast, and the $50 deposit for "incidentals " (which I'd better get back) Seems like they could make a few concessions during the renovation.

This property is undergoing some renovation. Lobby, elevator are all dirty looking. Does not look anything like the pictures. Hair in bathroom sink, empty body wash container in shower.Charges for parking in spite of being located in an open area with plenty of parking, to make matters worse they add service charge to your parking fee. Booked hotel because of the 4 star rating but this hotel is 2 stars at best.
- 2/5
Front desk said there is free water in the room. There was no water bottles at all. Lol Bed was ok and. In the sink - faucet was not screwed tight and was turning sideways when i tried to change temperature. Some black gunk or mold in the shower. You make your own mind if you want to stay here
- 1/5
Website didn’t say this place was under renovation. I understand construction, but it looked horrible and disgusting.

Very helpful staff, great breakfast, clean rooms, conveniently located.

I didn't get the room i payed for and also the shower was clogged up.
- 3/5
Hotel was not up to Hilton standards. Things were clean, but room was sub-par. Poor paint. Drywall dust under sink. Maintenance panels ajar. Tub drained poorly. Toilet water line gobbed with silicone. Poor fitting door and lower wall trim.
- 5/5
Pay parking no good
- 5/5
The front desk was extraordinary. They went above and beyond.
- 3/5
Had to report an active leak in bathroom. Water wasn't warm enough for showering. Limited dining.
- 3/5
Water temperature in shower difficult to control.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was awesome. A/C in the room didn't work 1st night, but they got it fixed for the 2nd night. Only having a miniature ironing board is unacceptable.
- 1/5
Overbooked, did not honor the reservation. No where to stay!
- 4/5
An older hotel but lovely decor . Front desk girl was very sweet and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast could be improved greatly although the attendant was lovely and hardworking. There were no working laundry facilities which is why I chose this option. Things arise but my honest opinion on this matter is that there are corners being cut and it didn’t appear they had a lack of guests . For the beautiful place that it still is it lacks quality and the respectful atmosphere it deserves.

Our AC went out during the early morning which made it uncomfortable. When we left to start our day, we notified the front desk. Upon our return to our room later that day, it was nice and cold again. Our overall experience was great for a weekend getaway with friends.
- 4/5
The staff was unusually wonderful... very curteous.
- 1/5
I walked into the room and the AC was blowing hot air. I took my bags back to the front desk and requested a new room. Asst Mgr Becker requested that I stay in that room and maintenance would reset the AC. The Tech came to the room with major attitude, reset the AC, it blew cooler air and the Tech said it would be cooler in 30 minutes. I had a fitful night sleep the temp went from 78 to 76. At 5 am it was back to 78. I requested a refund but was denied. I cannot recall a worse hotel experience in my life.
- 1/5
I reserved an upgraded room, got bumped to a lower grade room upon arrival. Thermostat in room didn't work and had to be replaced. Cooked the first night I was there. TV remote barely worked. Room was on the bottom floor and loud and faced the parking lot. Second night the fire alarm for the hotel goes off at 11:30 and everyone has to exit the hotel until the Fire Department clears the hotel. No compensation or apologies from the hotel. The condition of the hotel is blausey. You can tell it's a refurbished property and they are trying to make out like its a five star resort. I've stayed at better Motel 6 hotels. Parking was not free and there was no indication that it was paid parking until you arrive at the hotel. The nightly rate was $15.00 dollars. What a rip off. Parking should be at least free in this location. I would not recommend staying here. Location is good and that's about all.
- 4/5
My main complaint is that they charge you to park your own car per night in their massive parking lot.
- 3/5
Surprised by parking fee for a suburban hotel.
- 2/5
The room hot and the air conditioner ran all night. The thermostat was set at 65 but did not go below 74 which lead to it running all night. It was annoying and loud.
- 3/5
The heat did not work in the room we had, even when it was on 80 it kept blowing cold air. We were told maintenance would come but the never did. Overall the staff was very respectable.
- 5/5
They have security in parking lot.
- 2/5
No one available to answer questions. No cups or glasses in hotel room except a $4 plastic water bottle. Reservation says breakfast included, but breakfast billed at checkout. Fitness room full of non-operational equipment.
