Loved this place! Affordable. Great staff, pool and hot tub were perfect. Free cappuccino and foose ball in the lobby was nice. Has cool vibes all around the property. Short drive to downtown.

Great stay we were coming from the Aiden which has amazing reviews on here (9) but we weren’t happy with the air not working. We came to the Hampton Inn and got a much better experience. There’s street parking in the back so skip the parking fee if you don’t mind walking half a block (50 ft). Everything is close enough and the parking situation was the cherry on top.

Lovely hotel but it needs some TLC ans theres a musky smell throughout. Staff were amazing throughout and very helpful. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7 which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was lovely but it could do with changing up to help give a bit of variety - it was the exact same the 2 days we were there. Overall lovely hotel and close to the Interstate and local attractions.

My daughter and I were in Austin for a concert downtown and were looking for a place Friday-Sunday that didn’t charge sky high parking fees. Aiden has free parking AND is close to downtown. The pool area is super nice and relaxing! The staff was excellent our whole stay, the breakfast selection was great, and the whole atmosphere was just a great artsy vibe! Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Austin!

Usually don't like hotel pools because they are so boring, but this one was fun and cool, felt like you were somewhere tropical instead of just at a basic hotel. The breakfast was great and had something for everyone.

Everyone was great and breakfast had a great variety, there’s even a section near the lobby where you can serve yourself coffee any time of day.

I had scrambled eggs, bacon and oatmeal. glad it was warm buffet style. staff was good at refilling before empty - beautiful pool/ jacuzzi with Buddhist statues all over. --- vibes !! 9 am -10 pm... the pool temp was perfect & water smooth. 1.5 ft- 8 ft? Depth range. As a mom, I appreciated the sectioned off shallow area - Guided meditation and music link on nightstand-- vibes ✨️ - Parking lot/ navigation confused me upon check in . Appreciated there was a sign late night acknowledging that the side entry was intentionally closed, & provided the simplest detour to get to the entry gate again. 4 WONDERFUL staff 1. Raul shift< 4 pm - the call before / during arrival he tried to accommodate an earlier check in without unnecessary charges 4 me 2. > 5 pm staff Called 7 min after check in to check on room. He made time to assist me with the mess i unnecessarily made myself. while balancing others' needs. Conversation starter despite mild attitude from me 3. Sushi bar staff member, Bella willing to trust my word to help me with a difficult accommodation/request that literally set the tone for the night/purpose of my stay. 4. Overnight lady (blonde hair) was definitely accessible @Front Desk like previously said. Escorted me to gym @ 1 am to help how lost I looked with her verbal directions. Of course I love the wall

Really clean room, comfortable beds. The room has everything you need, even a coffee maker, which is very nice in the morning. I can't call these significant drawbacks, but still. 1. The rooms have nice balconies, but you can't use them. Even going out to drink coffee in the morning is forbidden. 2. The windows also don't open, there are limiters. 3. The drain valve in our sink was broken, so we had to constantly pull it out of the puddle to drain the dirty water. 4. Breakfast until 9:00 am. Yes, it's a weekday, but everyone has their own schedule. We were one of those many people who rushed out of bed (on the street, not the corridors!) to have breakfast. It's inconvenient. In the morning, you couldn't enjoy either waking up or having breakfast, everything was rushed. It would have been nice to extend it until at least 10 am! But despite this, we are glad that we chose this hotel and will return to it if we have the opportunity.

The checkin person told us and other guests the brekfast was till 10am and a lot of us showed up at 9:15am and breakfast ended at 9am...not sure if that is there default or genuine oversight. The property is clean even though it is off of the highway but in a safe and good neighborhood with free parking

I started staying here last year when I would go to Austin. It's the best. Small quaint hotel. Full breakfast every morning. Rooms are clean and showers are perfect. Will be staying here every time I'm staying on Austin.

The hotel was located very close to the venue my kids were going to for a concert. The hotel sits right off I-35 and there is plenty of close quick spots to eat. The hotel has a 'cool' vibe, very colorful out by the pool area. The room we stayed in was technically an outside entry but within the interior perimeter of the hotel so there was not a feeling of it not being safe. The rooms are a little older but very clean. The beds were comfortable and both me and my kiddo enjoyed our stay. Updated bathroom-but that's trivial. The door to our room could be a little more sound-proof as I could hear people passing by when walking past our room but nothing overly loud to where we couldn't sleep well.

Wanted to find a hotel with free parking that was close to downtown and all our other planned activities, and honestly this place was perfect. It’s so close to drive anywhere in Austin I would recommend it for the parking and location alone. Hotel rooms were clean and I have a VERY high standard of cleanliness. Not sure how often they are supposed to clean the rooms but nobody came in to ours until we asked on day 4 for new towels and a sweep of the floor. Breakfast was free and quite convenient. Make sure to have the fruit it’s exceptionally good being that far south. The layout of the hotel is insanity but it was always hilarious trying to find our room. Good thing they put up markers outside the stairwells to help guide you (you’ll see). Would stay here again.

Great for what I needed— the restaurant smelled weird and the breakfast was not good but otherwise I was happy with my room.

We only stayed one night. There’s an all you can eat sushi restaurant and bar attached to it for $40 a person. We didn’t eat there, very crowded- seemed very popular. The arrows on the signage is confusing and so are the room numbers. The room numbers are layes out like home addresses instead of in order. There is a pool area that seemed like a cool spot for couples to hangout. The hot tub was out of service. The hotel is pet friendly. There are two Tesla chargers, I have a EV but not a Tesla so I couldn’t use them. Parking is very tight. There seems to be homeless that hangout nearby at the gas station across the street. I had to drive around twice because I missed my turn. Hard to get to. We paid $325 for a Saturday night and $50 for our puppy to stay. For a little more I could have stayed at the Hyatt. Decent hotel but a little too pricey for all that I mentioned.

We had an overall good stay. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided great service throughout our visit. The amenities were also very nice and added to the experience. While the room and overall cleanliness could have been better, the positives definitely stood out. The restaurant on-site was excellent — great food and outstanding service.

It was mostly quiet and clean. When checking out a roach crawled across the lobby floor and no staff noticed. It smelled a little off. A little musty and mildew.

The room is all right, however the air conditioning is loud, and the double bed is too soft for me to have a good rest! The breakfast is very good, which is the best part.

The clerk checked us in early. The breakfast was included and had tacos, biscuits, cereal, waffles. The room was comfortable. Another clerk loaned us her charger overnight. The bathroom was a little outdated.

This was our 3rd visit to the Aiden. I prefer the feeling of this property over "big box" hotels; especially the relaxing courtyard with pool, spa, seating areas and greenery. Breakfast offers many choices including "Texas" waffles. There is a convenient espresso drink machine in lobby that is always available. Although not walkable the hotel location is very close and convenient to many sights. Staff was friendly and accommodating and hotel did acknowledge my room request at time of booking.

Loved the eclectic vibe and colorful exterior. It was near our concert venue and some terrific eating places. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay again!

Our stay at Aiden Austin hotel was fantastic. We had a nice and clean room with very comfortable bed. Our fridge was perfect for storing our groceries for the week. The hotel is located in a great spot close to everything. The pool was nice and lots of lounge chairs available. Towels were also available at the pool which was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

I was greeted by the lobby staff with a warm welcome and they provided detailed information of the onsite facilities, amenities, etc. You HAVE to check out the pool area and the all you can eat sushi bar - 10 out of 10! And the complimentary morning breakfast is one of the best I've had, with a great variety of options and refreshments. Highly recommend this stay and we will be back!

For Austin, the combination of location, character, free parking, and useful amenities makes it a very good stay. This is not a four-star hotel, but it is a very good value for the money and much better than some more expensive options with less to offer. I really cannot say anything wrong about it. Just remember that it was once a motel, not the Ritz, and it is right by Interstate 35, so traffic noise can be part of the experience. Judged for what it is, it delivers very well.

I have nothing negative to say about the Aiden! The staff is awesome, the breakfast and sushi restaurant are awesome, and the pool is great!! We come to this hotel every year and its always a perfect stay.

The room smelled like mildew. It was on the very back farthest exterior hallway from all the amenities and we soon found out that there was a leak in the bathroom pipe that leaked water over the floor

I had to ask for my upgrade. The elevators are very small, barely fit 3 people. But when I asked for my upgrade it was given to me.

This missed the mark for me. Room was not clean. Pluming needs major upgrade. Vending machines all out of water. To be fair, I have a high bar and had I known this was actually a best western I would have not stayed here.

We enjoyed our stay here. I liked that Breakfast was included. The staff were nice and helpful.

Price hike for an event in town was ridiculous. Refrigerator didn’t work so our food was ruined, no compensation was offered. They offered to swap the fridge but it was late when we figured that out and we were leaving in the morning so there was no point. The AC was loud and when it was on the room was freezing, if we turned it down even 2 degrees it was stuffy and hot in the room. Couldn’t find a good middle in the 2 days we stayed. Walls are very thin so we could hear people walking to and from their rooms, kids running, people talking, etc.

Additionally, it has the typical smell of a motel, likely coming from the carpet. The elevator is quite small, accommodating only two people with luggage at a time. If someone posted similar detailed reviews like above, I would not have chosen this hotel.

The breakfast was ok not a great selection. The bathroom had a bad smell and the floor needed to be swept before we checked in.

Bathroom was seriously so dirty. Behind the toilet paper roll was disgusting. I had hair piled up beside the bed and when a pillow fell on the floor, after I picked it up it was covered in dust and hair. Staff was chill but I asked for room cleaning after a few days and it never came. Won’t be staying here again

Broken elevator forcing awkward path to hotel room

Attentive staff, clean rooms, hot breakfast. We were not too fond of the LOW toilet.

Cockroach and tick in the room, left the property immediately. Staff (Jose Lopez) unhelpful, claimed I was lying even after I showed him videos of the bugs. Room was poor otherwise - small, poorly lit - much better options in the area.

Lady traveling alone - I DID NOT feel SAFE!!! Room smelled like mold. Floors were not swept. An old, 3 story motor inn with the doors facing the parking. Area in front of doors was caged in. Very strange. NOT a 3 star by any stretch!!!

The noise at night was crazy. It sounded like someone outside our room was building a shed at 3 am. The guests are what make this place a never again, for me.

This MOTEL is terrible. Disgusting. Toilet was overflowing when we showed up, water and waste everywhere. They wouldn't give refund either. This place is awful. You have been warned.

Loved how there was a resturant in the hotel and breakfast served every morning. The coffee and eggs were really bad at breakfast. There seemed to be someone smoking marijuana in their room close to mine or right outside the doors to the hotel.

The hotel is large and is easy to get lost in, but has so many access points that so long as you get outside you can usually find your way. Great stay, would do again.

The bed sheets were visibly creased, and the rooms felt quite dated. The room also lacked a fresh scent, which made the overall environment less comfortable. During check-in, the manager was on the phone most of the time and did not make eye contact or engage with us until it was time to request a card for the deposit. Overall, it was not a very pleasant experience.

Fridge and microwave in the room was a big plus, as was bathtub. Bathroom was compact but very clean. Im a snob about stuffiness bc I have allergies. room was fresh, bed & pillows were very good. I picked into the fitness center, it was a couple basic machines and equipment like you would expect, but at least something if you wanted to burn off some energy. I was most impressed that there were good quality Coin Laundry available! I love that option when traveling Plenty parking & a few convenient ways to come into the complex directly from the lot It was within a few minutes of several different types of restaurants, easy to get around & maybe 10 minutes easy drive to UT.

Noise around the back of the building kept us awake a lot during the night. Trash being emptied etc...

Room was fine. You can hear the delivery trucks in the middle of the night. Water pressure and temp was horrible. Cute pictures and art throughout the hotel

Great value. Clean hotel with Austin personality. Would definitely stay here again. Convenient location off the highway. If you're planning on driving around the Austin area rather than hang out in the downtown area, I'd reccomend. Breakfast staff was actually surprisingly very kind and helpful.

The room was clean. The nighttime guy at the front desk was really cool and nice and also gave me some recommendations nearby. The hotel was quiet and close to downtown. The ac works fast only thing is, it made me really stuffy overnight.

The shower took anywhere from 20-30 minutes of straight running the water before it became hot. Also, the shower itself was kinda difficult to turn on. Mine took multiple attempts before the knob would catch and switch from bath to shower. The mattress was extremely firm and not very giving.

Breakfast is basic. What you would expect from a Best Western. Unhealthy options and a couple healthy ones. No complaints. Bed was very comfortable and I slept good. Sounds do come through the ceiling from above of other guests. Beautiful pool and garden.

Was disappointed in sushi restaurant walked in at 9:31 pm and was told at 9:30 was last call. No exceptions so we had to drive out for food.

Pool was a little cold, but for the time of year it was expected. Our room was also pretty noisy, we could constantly hear the people above us. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Everything was fantastic! The staff was so so helpful and kind, the hotel is super clean!! The pool area- gorgeous! Great location with sidewalks to walk down the street to a local park.. My doggy loved that! Great Breakfast buffet! And the gym was really nice! All of the equipment was updated, clean and in working order which can be rare at boutique hotels. Will absolutely stay at Aiden Austin again on trips to Austin and wish I found it sooner!

I’ve stayed here often and this time it looked a bit “not it’s best”. The hotel outside looked a bit unclean and the inside looked like it could use a cleaning. Outside walkways could use a power wash. Elevator was dirty, floors and mirrors. Our room smelt like body odor. Staff was very nice. I hope this place cleans up. Won’t be staying again if not.

The staff was very nice and loved that they were pet-friendly. On the other hand, they seem to have a bug problem. There was a silverfish in my bathtub on day one and a huge cockroach on the curtains day 6. Also, outside at night they are everywhere.

Property, although on a very busy area is well located. They've done a good job remodeling and decorating what was a very old highway motel and given it new life. Service is good (very attentive), linens are nice and the pool is ok. Unfortunately the rooms are old and even with fresh paint and new floors they "smell old".

Honestly one of my favorite hotels! Yes it’s an older property but everything was well maintained and the amenities were awesome! We especially loved the nespresso machine that could make us hot chocolate or lattes on demand! And the sushi restaurant attached was 5 star. We are definitely coming back asap!

I've stayed here many times and never really had an issue, but this time I noticed a damp, moldy smell in my room and there was a cockroach that I had to kill. Common for Austin in the summer, especially after a rain, but you should expect the hotel to show it's age. Always great staff and service and the new all-you-can-eat sushi bar was pretty solid for the price. Great HH prices on the weekend, so worth checking out if you're on a budget for cheap drinks and decent sushi, noodles, apps, and tempura.

Beds were a bit a small- but other than that staff, amenities and property were great! Definitely updated, but felt like the Austin I knew from 15-20 years ago. The pool is GREAT!

We booked one night for a staycation, and it was perfect! The décor was beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, and we just stayed in and relaxed. Ordering dinner from the hotel’s restaurant was so convenient. 10/10 recommend and we’ll definitely be back for our next staycation!

Cozy bed , smart tv, Keurig coffee maker and fridge , the pool was awesome ! All staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a gift bag and waters . Sushi restaurant was yummy ! We did all you can eat special for my birthday . The breakfast was pretty good and the lady working was very nice . The Aiden won me over during the big freeze of 2021(?). They honored my in-laws rates without hiking up prices and opened up bookings with the same price for family and friends. Class acts! Since then I’ve had lots of family and friends stay for the low price in great proximity to every thing plus free parking and free breakfast. Rooms are neat and clean and beds are comfy! Can’t beat it for the great price and hospitality

Overall the property is a good value however it is showing its age. If you want towel service or the room refreshed you need to let them know the day before, otherwise the employees are really nice and helpful.

Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel. Easy check in. In a safe neighborhood. Near expressway. Property is very clean. Nice pool and hot tub area. Breakfast was pretty good standard continental. Only issue we had was the housekeeping. We put the do not disturb sign out the first three days and we appreciated them not stopping. However, on the fourth day we took the sign off, hoping for bed turndown and fresh towels - that didnt happen. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Half of the rooms in this hotel room are run of the mill motel rooms where the entrance is outside. Our room smelled like mildew and there were cockroaches. There was no elevator to my room and I had bags and a toddler. The front desk was nice enough but they took a long time and made me stay at the desk while he read an entire sheet of paper to me that he was giving me and I could have read myself while my toddler was fussy and needed to go to sleep.

If you’re looking to actually get some sleep, stay far away. Our room was on the first floor with excessive stomping on the floor above (until 2am) as well as by an exit door that slammed frequently and literally right by the laundry/maid quarters and ice machine, of course. It was quite possibly the worst location and room on the property. It also felt very unsafe as the door and casing is cheap and the lock felt broken and insufficient. Staff was unfriendly as well and maintenance and maids were up early making so much noise and had zero courtesy for sleeping guests. Stay far away if you value your time, money and rest while on vacation.

Breakfast is good, try waffles, coffee machine in lobby has good coffee. Room is big, bed very comfortable and cozy. Parking is free and secure. Place close to SOCO.

Front desk personnel are awesome! They are friendly, helpful and explain everything in detail. Room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the pool was a bit dirty, but a nice gentleman got the net and scooped up as much leaves as he could. Also, the jacuzzi does not work. Water is hot but no jets. :(

The Pool was awesome and the Hotel was unique.

Friendly staff with reasonably good facilities though because of the different blocks to the building it was hard to navigate and you always had to remember to take a keycard with you to get round. Pretty well situated for discovering the area.

We have stayed at the Aiden several times. We’ve always found it to be nice. Tonight was a huge disappointment. Check in took 20 minutes. I was the only guest in the lobby. After finally receiving my keys and making it to my room keys did not work. I returned to the desk and was told they forgot to program the keys. 10 minutes later I finally had access to my room. Only to find it was very hot. I called and asked for a fan, but they did not have any. They did offer to allow me to move rooms, but my elderly parents were not up for another move. Next we discovered that the keurig did not work and the sink did not drain. I’m so bummed! I’ve always enjoyed our stays here in the past. After a long hard day this was not the evening I was hoping for.
