R Nite Star Hotel

I called to see if I could check in early. The person I talked to said I could check in at 1pm instead of 3pm which I thought was helpful since my son and I took a red eye and we were hoping for a nap before a meeting in the evening. We showed up at 1 and the room was not ready. Ok, we went to eat and came back at 3. There was construction on the side our room was on, that doesn’t bother me either but there was a car with window broken and bags covering. The room was not clean with some oil or something on the floor next to the bed, the comforter had stains and there was hair in the bathroom. Staying with my son, I personally didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying so we checked out within 20 min of arriving.

Disappointing stay. It definitely felt like a Motel 6 but was not priced accordingly. The room was clean which is huge for me and the staff we spoke with were nice enough. Aside from being overpriced for the type of hotel, the TV was in and out both days we were there. It seemed the WiFi was not strong enough to stream anything reliably. The first night I was told it was due to the weather and the second day someone came out and got it working but later that evening it went out again. They suggested we use our hotspot, but I suggest when you say at a hotel, the least you should have as a working television.

For an older property, they did a great job renovating and decorating. Staff was super friendly and helpful. And the pool side luxury chairs were soooo comfortable and in the shade, so an automatic nap. I highly recommend, great for the money.

Great staff If you go on a vacation drip with your family or one by yourself, RNITE is the place to stay. The breakfast is very simple and clean. Fresh juice, milk and goodies. That is all you need. The hotel is family owned.

We only tried the breakfast once and it was late but the selection wasn't great when we got there. The room was clean but needed some cosmetic work-tile work that wasn't quite finished, the outlet by the sink didn't work very well, I would change the shower curtain to a lighter color-I felt like I was in a closet when I took my shower because it was so dark, add another light somehow to the sink so you can see to put on makeup, etc more easily. The outside area was clean and well maintained.

No hot water 2nd morning. Check in process was not smooth.

Pool was fun, with some minor floating dirt. Room had a sticking bathroom door. Got a good nights sleep. Staff were excellent.

Great location close to activities and shopping.

Got a room at La Quinta. So much better accommodation: bigger, brighter room; very nice sized bathroom,; and they offered round trip shuttle service for $8 per person, but it was good for the entire day to many locations!

Don't let the first visual fool you. This is a hidden gem in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. By time you leave the staff will have made you feel like family. Give the lounge a try, you won't be disappointed. Very affordable as well.

The beds were awful and the keys only worked half the time we needed 3 keys and only 1 worked. Staff was great though.

Room was clean, and staff was very friendly. Super convenient to Six Flags. Be careful when you show up because there are two driveways and the motel is on a one way road. The first driveway is for the motel, so if your gps sends you to the second one, you’ll have to loop around and come at it again.

This property was nothing like the pictures on the site. It was nasty and not a safe location. The floors were dirty and bedding wrinkled and smelled. After we walked in to see the room we turned and left. I wish we knew before we paid in advance. Pay more and stay at a Hampton or Fairfield. Absolutely dirty and unfit for even one night. I am sure they rent it by the hour!

However, I'm upset because I was charged twice. Once through Expedia, where I booked for $138.28. When they asked for my card in person, they mentioned the security hold which is understandable and still pending on my account. But I was also charged for $88.59 I would appreciate a follow up.

We didn't stay long enough. We walked into the room, I found blood on the back of the bathroom door and we didn't feel safe. We were in the room no longer than 3 minutes and checked out.

The manager is awesome and accommodating as well as the whole staff. My room was comfy and quiet. Eateries are from walking distance. The bar is close to the pool. I found this place to be relaxing. I will stay here in the near future.

Ti was so pleasant and sweet when we arrived. Check in was seamless and the room was spotless. Honestly, it was the perfect overnight for us.

The noising for the highway was so bad. Not let me feel comfortable to sleep plus the mattress is so hard as a rock. But the lady, she helped me to change the room to get some rest. Breakfast was, for me, it's awful. I don't eat the X looks soggy, not good no. Cheese just toast and muffin with a small bag of Syria, melk and orange juice, frozen Pancake and waffles.

Very friendly staff. TV’s in room are a bit tiny but otherwise everything else was good. This place had delicious breakfast each morning and has a bar with karaoke too.

The best thing about staying here is location. Very close to the Arlington Sports Complex. The second best thing is the staff. Very nice and accommodating. I also enjoyed that it is a smoke free property. The room was comfortable and clean. Looks like recent updating. I would stay again for sure.

The worst motel experience ever. Was shown rooms with stopped up plumbing that smelled like sewage, a bug in the bathtub that I now think was a palmetto bug, a room with a muddy floor and the one we eventually agreed to stay in because of exhaustion, which turned out to have two water bottles stuffed between the mattress and headboard (one empty and one half full. We ended up removing their sheet and covers and using one of our own blankets to sleep on and another to cover up. We checked out next morning instead of staying the other two nights.

I didn't use the Internet so I can't comment on that, but my room was clean the towels were clean and very white. There was a mix up with my room cause I reserved it on hotels.com app and it took her a few minutes to find the reservation, and when they did it turned out to be the wrong room. They gave me a 2 bed deluxe room but I reserved the studio room with one King size bed, they corrected the problem and everything worked out.

The neighborhood surrounding the area isn’t the best but there were never any issues. They have a nice little bar inside near the office and it was a cool little spot to chill and have some drinks. The pool looked nice and clean as well. It was too cold to swim but the area was kept well. Overall it was a good experience

Let me first say, I LOVE this place! But this trip wasn’t as enjoyable. I was placed in the back in the corner where I didn’t feel safe as a single woman traveling alone. AND the bed was HARD!!!! The hotel’s parking lot appeared deserted so there were rooms available.

I did an upgrade/change in my reservation and I got charged for 2 rooms on the same night. I felt scam and I didn’t feel anything but used again.

The room was clean. All of the staff were very friendly. They had just painted all of the sidewalks and it looked really nice. The WIFI was decent for online gaming. I enjoyed the easy access to local attractions. I would come here again.

The front desk said give it a minute to heat up because apparently front desk controls the heat. We waited and still nothing. The manager said to get space heaters and extra blankets but did eventually end up moving us at 1AM. (Mind you it was 16 degrees this night) I had to wake t he baby up, get him dressed, and moved downstairs. Some type of discount would’ve been nice but of course th manager declined. The front desk lady was new and she was a sweetheart but she also hinted the hotel had plenty issues.

That seemed to make the manager happy. He didn’t ask me if I had a copy of the Dog documentation. I informed him that that was illegal to ask for, and that I have it in my car. He looked at me very strangely… And almost puzzled. And then he said “oh I am only asking because we have to have it on file you know?” in which I informed him that that was also illegal. Anyway, got to the room and it looked nice. But there was dirt on the toilet. I went back to the manager, and he inspected it. He then gave me a new room. Which was good. And I was happy with that. Overall, the rest of the place was clean. It was just made unnecessarily awkward. The shower was also cold, but it did heat up after leaving the water run for about 10 minutes.The breakfast was fine. The breakfast room was very clean and nice. Options were limited, but not bad. Better than I expected. Coffee was delicious… I’m gonna admit that.

The workers were very friendly and the parking was very easy and accessible. Close to many attractions. It was very poor quality hotel. The beds were low to the ground and hard or uneven. Some plugs and lamps didn’t work. We had mini travel shampoo bottles given for hand soap. Ice machine was broken or empty. The floor was uneven. Very poor breakfast area. With no breakfast options. Furniture in lobby and rooms was either very old or cheap or junk looking. People were fighting and screaming outside our room at 2 am. The walls are very thin. Tv woudnt work at first. WiFi was terrible. Lobby isn’t open at nights. Hot water was minimal. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was in the room when we got there. Literally cried the night we arrived cause my family blamed me for how bad the hotel was… don’t trust other reviews. Believe me.. my tears are real.

The room was nice and clean inside, including the bathroom and wash area. It was easily accessible and has a good location. The price was great. Nothing really. I had to leave early so I was unable to try the breakfast. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

I Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was spotless. Addition, the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent hospitality. I also really enjoyed the karaoke and the bar. Definitely I will be back.

The manager Ti Thanavadee was extremely accommodating when asked for the first floor at check in because my husband uses a cane to walk. The location is a quick and inexpensive Uber ride to AT&T Stadium and Texas Live. A good value for the price. The food quality for the buffet breakfast was poor. The room was easy to maintain at a comfortable temperature.

The rooms were way better than we expected! They were clean and had bee re-done. The rooms smelled clean and the Linens smelled clean when we pulled back the blankets. Bathroom was small but nicely done. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be staying there again in the future.

The hotel was excellent, and the staff was even better. We had such a great time staying at this hotel, and so much fun at the karaoke lounge. The location put you so close to everything, such as Six Flags, AT&T, Stadium, and nightlife. The price of the room was well worth it and we can't wait to get back here.

Ti, the manager, was amazing — she went above and beyond to make our stay special. We requested adjoining rooms, and she made it happen. Ti even let us check in early so we could decorate my daughter’s room and surprise her. The hotel itself feels more like a boutique resort — clean, comfortable, and full of charm. There’s a great pool, a fun little bar with karaoke, and it’s super convenient to Six Flags, which was perfect for our trip. Ti truly went the extra mile for us — she even surprised my daughter with a birthday cake! That kind of personal touch is rare these days. We’ll 100% be coming back and highly recommend R Nite Star Inn & Suite to anyone visiting Arlington.

My wife needs a wheelchair Be sure to book a 1st floor room near the wheelchair ramp. Our room was clean and spacious enough for her wheelchair. There is a refrigerator, coffee maker with a small desk for computer and TV has cable. I wish it had one nore lamp near the refrigerator. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was basic with scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal etc. Overall a good basic overnight stay. We will reserve again.

It was right off the highway, gotta be quick on that exit there… didn’t hear noise it was great, wish I had time for the pool!! It looked amazing. Nice setup. Shower was great, just what I needed for one night seeing the Rangers play. And we swept the Brewers! Didn’t do breakfast, they did give you a checkout call AND knock reminder an hour-ish before checkout but I was in the shower…only thing was the AC could be better. Thank you for the good room!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. I did see one roach crawliing on a wall. The highway is very close & can be loud at times. It was otherwise peaceful. The bar & pool area were nice.

This was a great experience. It was clean, 4 minutes to every main event, it was clean,comfortable and tje Host/owner wa very hospitable with an excellent attitude. Customer service was number 1. Thwy even have food, karaoke, and a bar with all sports on every tv woth swimming pool

Front desk lady was one of the nicest hotel staff I’ve ran across in quite some time! The bed was comfortable but the springs popping had me worried at first. Really liked the shower. For being right off a major highway it was really really quiet.

This property is older and in need of some cosmetic repair outside, but clean rooms and comfortable bed.

The ladies were SOOOOO SWEET! The bed was AMAZING! Probably the best I’ve ever slept in a hotel room. The deadbolt to our room didn’t work but we never felt unsafe. The shower, water pressure and temp were all wonderful after a long hot day. We booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 2 more because it was so centrally located. We’ll definitely stay here again!

The place looks like it’s being renovated in some areas. Breakfast was not the best but that’s okay. I would stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly! I loved the pool and the side bar area they had by the lobby and pool area.

Shuttle was convenient, room was nice (A/C was on point), and the breakfast was decent. I didn't get to take advantage of the bar or the pool :( . Overall, I would recommend this place :) . Thank You for the welcoming stay.

The property is located close to many amenities. If you are looking for a place to sleep, this is it. Our room was mostly clean except the bathroom- we had a dirty towel, hair everywhere and it needed to be swept. The bed was also overly soft. I like a soft bed, but this one tries to eat you it is so soft. There was also something strange with the electrical and when you turned on the bathroom light, the hairdryer would come on. It was very quiet, but that could be because it wasn’t busy.

It was nice for my first visit I would definitely come back and visit. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

Nice room clean and quiet

Location was great, very small bathroom, it took almost five minutes for the water to get hot. Chair in the room was not a rolling chair. No microwave.

I couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The place has been there awhile but the upkeep on it was great our room was clean the shower had plenty of pressure and hott water our shower had a rain shower head which was great. The breakfast although was not much to choose from was still decent enough to fill you up. The pool was always opened on time and they are open till 10. I can't say enough about the staff and how amazing and friendly they are you are treated like a big chain hotel without the price. They were even very accommodating when we had an issue with our debit card. I will definitely stay with them on our trips to Dallas and works definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

Bed was comfortable but pillows were very thin. 2 pillows make one pillow. Had to go get another one form office. The doors hard little hard to open and close. Our wood floor wasn't level. Please watch the bed because you can stub your toes because the legs of the bed

This was an older hotel that has been remodeled, and it was a nice place to stay. I can't say enough about how helpful and gracious all of the staff we encountered were. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. We enjoyed the pool area a lot. We were able to utilize their shuttle service to get to our concert, which was very convenient (and included). While it would have been nice had they been able to pick us up afterward, we did know ahead of booking that they don't run that late. Our only disappointment was the extremely limited restaurant menu, but there were plenty of other options nearby, including a good pizza place that was open until 2 am. We would stay here again!

Needed a room for a quick over night trip, had a room booked somewhere else but it was horrible. Found this one & was so impressed with it. Front desk attendant was super nice and the rooms were so clean.

I am so glad I picked this place to stay. It was close to Six Flags and had a lot of close dining options. The mattress was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on. My family all said the same (we had 5 rooms). The staff was super friendly and if there was a problem, they immediately worked to fix it. We were all impressed and my kids and their SO’s all suggested we do this again here soon. I highly recommend!

Nicely renovated older hotel. Clean and reasonably priced for the area

I didn’t stay. I ended up eating $181 for 2 nights. The property was not well lit. When we got to our room, it had no lock on the door. The room itself had a really dark heavy feel as well. We saw another customer in the parking lot and told her we are leaving because there is no locks on the door. She said,”yeah, some of the rooms don’t have locks, but if you tell them, they will move you to another room.”

It was a good quiet stay for a night. Fair price.

I want to start off by saying the staff was amazing! They were so very friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The property itself is a different story. Pictures are deceiving. It’s could use updating. The bed was uncomfortable and pillows were awful. Our bathroom door popped so loud every time you opened it. Needless to say, we didn’t rest well at all. The staff was by far the best part of the stay.

The shower/toilet area is quite snug. If you are needing an early morning breakfast before heading off for the day not an option the lobby doesn't open before 7 AM. For the price I would stay there again

The staff was absolutely amazing! Only one small hiccup with our tv but was fixed immediately, the rooms are clean, bed is super comfy. Sad we had to cut our trip short due to work, but we will be back soon enough!

Love this place!! Mgr TI is awesome! Place is family owned and run very well. Very clean! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! I was only in town for 3 days to see family. They made it a great stay! One thing that was completely out of their control was I was so looking forward to the pool! Was not usable due to rain. Very highly recommended!! ❤️

It was good and comfy. Only critique I found with the place was that in the shower if you close the shower curtain, there’s little to no lighting since the lighting is outside of the shower curtain.
