Too expensive for not even a free Continental breakfast. AC was loud. Two lamps for lighting? Really!! Why have a desk if you can't see

We just expected more out of Hilton. The building seemed very generic and cheaply built. It did not give a feeling of luxury. It reminded us of a lot of hotels that the foreigners will be owning in 10 years after the Hilton‘s done with them. Our room had extremely high ceilings, which was OK except for echoed really bad. Very disappointed in Hilton. I think I could’ve done better at the super eight.

The handle on the toilet was broken. The sink has a crack.

We got to the hotel late the lady in the front was rude & didn’t explain the $50 hold on my car. We got the room door doesn’t shut right with out it slamming there was trash under the bed not cleaned up, the roof next to the window was full of bird poop & bird eggs. There was a fire alarm off the wall w wire exposed.

The pillows were horrible and the air conditioner/heater didn't work properly.

Good price and clean. The hotel doesn’t match the same experience I had with different Hilton Garden Inn hotels I’ve stayed.

I was extremely disappointed in our stay. Our room was not cleaned well. We found an empty wine box on the floor when we walked into our room, the beds looked like children made them, and we were lacking in both towels and pillows. We booked a room with two queens and were given 2 full size towels. Each bed had 2.5 pillows on them. You may be curious at the “.5,” and trust me, so was I. I guess the pillows were so broken down, they folded them in half inside the pillowcase to make a half pillow. All of the pillows were crap. They were like the suggestion of a pillow, like an idea of what a pillow might be one day when it grows up…the la croix version of a pillow, if you will. The beds were uncomfortable too so we can’t leave them out. One was more uncomfortable than the other which we later figured out it was because the bed or the box spring was busted underneath. The other bed was just old and worn out. The staff who checked us in was helpful, but it stops there. At one point, my husband went to the front desk to ask for additional towels and was told “well, I’ll see if we have any” with quite a bit of attitude. At one point, I received a text asking us to rate our stay from 1-5 to which I responded “2.” I then had someone on staff respond asking if they could discuss with me, we set up a time, and they never called. So I don’t think it mattered that much to them. I would have changed hotels if not a huge hassle. I just won’t ever stay here again. Pool was nice though.

Not super clean. Check-in was a nightmare because apparently to open the door to your room you have to pull the handle up….unlike any other hotel and somehow the employee at the front didn’t know that. I was informed by another guest. One elevator was down and the other sounded like I should have been down.

Everything was in within distance, which was perfect

Room had a crack in the sink and spraying drain water on the floor ie your feet. After notifying staff, they said they were aware and didn’t put the room out of service, or move us.

The restaurant and bar closes much wo early for travelers arriving later in the evening. They need to stay open until at least 11 to allow others a chance to eat. The prices of the rooms seem a bit high for the off season with nothing going on.

Computers weren't working properly when we got there at 11:30pm, after a 13 hour drive. Was woken up at 6am by loud footsteps above me and doors slamming shut around me! We had 5 rooms at over $700 total for a geand stay of 6 hours!! Extremely disappointed and will not stay at a Hilton hotel again!!

Breakfast was good after I was finally able to get it. I paid for the service but was originally denied by the front desk. I had to pull my original booking to prove that I paid for the breakfast. There was an ant or some bug in my bed and I got eaten alive while I was there. I asked them to change my bedding but my bedding was never changed for my 3 day stay.

The front desk clerks were very friendly and helped with a speedy check-in. The location was very convenient as I was traveling back home and wanted somewhere close to the I-40. The hotel and room looks like it was recently remodeled with new furniture, which was nice. My room A/C unit fan would not turn off with the thermostat, so it ran all night no matter what the temperature was set to. The bathroom in my king bed room was disappointing as the shower had no hot water, but the bathroom sink did. I called the front desk and she explained it was due to the storm (I stayed the night before it was supposed to arrive, so no storms in the area), and offered to email maintenance as it was after 10:00PM. I declined due to the time and I was tired from driving all day. Back to the bathroom, it was cramped between opening or closing the shower door or bathroom door, the door barely cleared the toilet when you closed it, and the paint was chipping/peeling off the bathroom doorway, and the sink faucet fixture was loose. Not the presentation I expect from a Hilton brand hotel. And no, I did not pay extra for breakfast.

My son and I picked up several bed bug bites. Praying we didn't bring them home with us. $75 pet fee for a one night stay is absurdly high especially since there was dog doo all over the grounds.

The place was clean. Room was big for a one-bed. The hot water in the shower was only lukewarm. Bartender gave me a bill that was overcharged. Thankfully I caught the error. I hope it was just an error. Staff friendly.

I've worked in a hotel in the past and you guy look pretty good and i was very impressed by how the lobby looks to the hallways with the different color carpet and the rooms were excellent. The sink in my room was cracked, and the bathroom was extra small with the bathroom door crowded to the shower door. The check-in staff was excellent with exceptional customer service, while the check-out staff was nice, but obviously very busy. The lobby was very inviting.

When reporting the issues at checkout, the staff offered reward points to make up for their terrible room, not any kind of refund. They promised maintenance would fix the issues - but the damage was already done. Will not be staying here again.

The room was a little banged up, but it was a pet friendly room, so no worries. It was on the first floor floor, which was very convenient. The most fabulous thing about the hotel is the offering of food light into the evening. It’s very nice to come in and get decent food instead of hunting around the neighborhood

He corrected my address which I did not realize I had never changed. The air conditioning never got really cool intil early morning. We had a view of the front area of the cupola and AC units to the building. There were pigeons everywhere and a dead one. The AC Units cover was off which might explain the warmer lobby not our room though. As we were picking up our things snd making sure nothing was left in the bed we found a couple of tiny feathers in our bed. We hope from a pillow… Other than this the stay was nice. The front desk clerk did not seem welcoming. There was another couple who came back to get help accessing their room. She was on the phone dealing with that while checking us in. The room was comfortable but will not return. We’ve had better experiences with Comfort Inn.

My only complaint is we were supposed to get a digital key we never got it so my husband went in to see what was up and the lady there said your room is probably not she never checked or anything. We checked in on the app the day before arriving saying wed ne there at 3 and check in time is at 3. This lady was off at 330 and she was very rude when my husband approached her to ask her about it, it made him so uncomfortable that we waited for the next lady to clock in to get our room.

Asked for an accessible room with a walk-in shower but got a tub without any seat. It did have grab bars thou but no place to sit !! No apologies and said I should have called the hotel directly. Rude but honest.

The service and personnel were excellent. The room was comfortable. The shower was a little bit dirty, but partly because it was old.

Our stay was perfectly fine except for one issue. The bed was not comfortable. You can tell it was a pretty old mattress. I'm no expert, but I don't think you should be able to feel the individual springs. It wasn't terrible, but not great either.

We have an overnight stay here regularly on our way back to Dallas from Colorado. The rooms are clean and spacious and having a restaurant and bar allows us to not have to go out for dinner after driving all day.

The staff were very nice, 5 stars on them, the room was fine...clean, but had to call maintenance to fix the fridge. My problem w the hotel was though they advertised as pet friendly, there is not really anywhere to walk your pet for potty purposes except for the back of the hotel which is NOT maintained, is unlit, feels unsafe in the early morning or after sunset. The entire back area has dog poop everywhere, one small area by the dumpster is designated for dogs but there are no poop bags in the stand meant for them. You sign a pet waiver upon registration that says you"ll pick up after your pet, so I realise if owners actually did that it wouldnt look like that, but the grounds still need to be maintained.

The room was so comfortable and clean, the bed like a cloud after the day driving, the shower (while lacking the water pressure I prefer) was spacious well equipped with shampoo conditioner and body soap and was large enough for 2. The bartender (sorry no name) was so friendly and suggested the bbq chicken flatbread which was delicious along with a cold glad of white wine. Checking out was a breeze, drop your key and get an email receipt. I definitely would recommend this hotel. If ever in Amarillo again I will be back. Thank you Pamela King and the rest of the wonderful staff.

The heater and the keurig did not work. Thestaff were very helpful to find me a other room, but i had to do without coffee. Why doesnt the staff check to see if things are working properly ahead of time.

What I didn't like was you pay for breakfast that wasn't to good at all,the cook was coughing and wiping his nose and face with a lil cough with no mask,and in his phone at the same time,my omelet was not cooked properly all my vegetables were not sauteed and he put tomatoes in my omelet when I didn't asked for them and don't eat them

Customer Service was great.

One of the washcloths had a earwig in it and the one sheet had an ink stain. Other than that it was clean. Front desk was very nice and helpful. No vent in the bathroom. Very close to shopping and food.

Nice place to stay. Excellent, friendly staff. Dogs allowed. Miss the Continental Breakfast. Easy access to everywhere.

There were a few long black hairs in the tub I noticed when I went to take a shower. Also noticed no hair dryer available. Other than that, things were fine

Everything was great except for Carlos in the back of the kitchen!! Wow, fire this guy. He clearly hates his job! Why work back there if you are upset that you have to cook food for other people. Attitude is annoying! Definitely need training on customer service

Receptionist was great. Breakfast crew not so friendly but did the job.

Our room looked nothing like the photo and the view from the window was a view of a homeless camp just on the other side of the privacy fence. The restroom in our room smelled of urine, and there was a dark brown stain under the sink. When I used a towel to wipe the stain with my foot a yellowish brown stain was left behind on the towel. Not sure how long this particular Garden Inn property has been open. It did not look like it was undergoing a remodel. But it seemed more devoid than usual of artwork at elevator stations and in the corridors to the rooms. Coffee stations and bottled H20 were great. Did not see the usual lobby carafes of water (w/fruit). Gym was adequate, although it could have used a half-Bosu ball and mats / exercise bands.

Peacefull quiet

Room was ok. It had been “updated” with paint, but you could see the rust/water damage in the bathroom like it had been painted over. Ac worked good in the room, hallways were hot. Breakfast looked nice but we did not eat it. Front desk lady was very nice.

I asked for a first floor and was told we had it. When I arrived they said they did not have one available. The gal on the phone told me that she gave me a first floor. Her English was not good so she may have not understood the request.
