Was fine

The hot breakfast was very good. Room cleaning service had to be requested. Room furnishings were old. Bed had a plastic liner on the mattress which didn’t allow body moisture to wick resulting in a sticky feeling. AC had its issues. Staff was very pleasant.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and overall great people.

One of the beds smelt like the sheets hadn't been changed.

I have stayed at this hotel probably 10-12 times over the years and have recommended it to family and friends. It was my go-to place to go in Albuquerque: it was cheap, it was in Old Town, and it was well maintained. Based on my most recent stay, I will not be returning. My room was filthy (long hair all over the floor, cockroach....pieces in several corners of the bathroom, the fridge smelled rank), the TV wall mount was missing at least one screw causing the TV to lean about 20 degrees, and the room had an unpleasant chemical smell on entering. I do not expect a lot from a cheap motel as far as amenities, but I do expect cleanliness, and that room was in no shape to be offered to guests. I have never checked for bedbugs in a hotel room before (thankfully, there were none that I could find). I had booked a non-refundable return stay a few days later and I ate the cost rather than stay here another day. On the bright side, the young woman at the front desk was kind, but that is about the only positive I can think of for a hotel that will no longer be getting my business.

This hotel is close to Old Town Albuquerque. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. Good location for the price. The floor looked as if it had not been swept or mopped. The hot and cold water was reversed and until I figured this out the water was scalding hot. The ice machine was broken. The hotel just needed some basic maintenance.

I like the fact that everything in the property was in working condition.

Comfy rooms The room next to us partied all night and we could not sleep With the the noise Motels should be for guests not from Albuquerque who need a good night sleep!! The pool and hot tub had a funky smell !

This hotel is just perfect. I paid less than a 100$ for the three of us. The room was clean and well equipped (fridge, coffee maker, microwave). The breakfast was small but freshly made and phenomenal. There's a pool too which we didn't use. The location is one block from the old town plaza. It's rare that a hotel gets it right on all fronts, but this one did it.

Noisy street but close to the Old Town. Wall is too thin. Could hear someone next door snoring. Someone played music at midnight. Staff said they would check but nothing was done. Trash was found around the stairs and railings at the balcony. Bathroom side wall was nothing more than a piece of plastic. Though they have kept the original hardwood floor in the room. They also use real plate and silverware for breakfast.

We wanted a hotel and filtered the search for hotels only. This is a motel so felt bait and switched. Older property and not a great neighborhood to be in.
