Courtyard by Marriott Addison Midway

I fell in love with the bed and pillow. Even though the property was older it was a good location and met my needs for a night. I actually have stayed here twice.

When you walk in, the fragrance will captivate you instantly!!! The staff is eager to clean the rooms as well. The parking is nice and easy to get. The staff overall is wonderful. We didn’t get to try the breakfast, but I’m sure it’s great too! 10/10 servicez

Loved the fact that the hotel was very clean from walking into the lobby to the room itself.

Near the train station and otherwise very reliable. Nothing really special, but no surprises is what is so nice about it.

The lobby and gym were nice, but the rest of the experience felt very uncomfortable. The hallways were dark, had low ceilings, and didn’t feel especially clean, and there were many older-style rooms with sliding glass doors opening directly to the parking lot. Unfortunately, the deadbolt on our room door also didn’t work. We felt unsafe enough that we quietly left and booked another hotel instead — without even requesting a refund — simply because we no longer felt comfortable staying there.

I loved my stay here, stayed 2 nights. Not big on breakfast so I didn’t check that out. Lots of restaurants near hotel. Parking was great, no worries about your car. My room was nice and clean, ac/heat worked great. Plenty of towels stocked. Housekeeping does check in on you to make sure you have what you need. Staff was very nice and friendly. Easy check in and out. All amenities was accessible for use. Felt like a small apartment with the patio areas attached. Also late check in is before 2am. Will return.

Loved everything about the hotel except the shower. Towels were kept in a separate room and the shower glass doesn’t extend the length of the shower. Only goes partway so the air was cold and water got all over the floor.

I had to hold the handle down.

The hallway noise, thin walls, tiny refrigerator. There is only one ice machine on the 1st floor and it was on the far opposite side of where our room was. The shower layout is set up so you have to walk into it to turn on the water and get sprayed with cold water. Then there is only a half shower door so water sprays out all over the floor creating a really dangerous and slippery situation. The patio door was broken and we had to have maintenance come fix it. The air conditioner makes these strange, loud noises like someone is banging on the window.

We were stuck in Dallas due to Winterstorm. Finding the property and checking in was matter of minutes. Flawless operation during a chaotic night. The property and the operation outdoor and indoor was clearly prepared in advance and was not effected by the Arctic storm front, it could not be said about DFW metroplex municipal authorities.

Location great. 6-minute drive to my job site along with the great amenities. There was no shower door. Had to clean water up every time I showered. Hallway was always freezing like air conditioning was on.

It was the nicest and quickest check in ever! Found out I am an Ambassador status. Breakfast cooked was fast and tastey. Liked the bar opened for happy hour. Room was perfectly located for easy come and go.

I like the fact that the property was very quiet and it was a great place to rest. What I didn’t like from the stay is the fact that there were ants in my room where we sleep I took pictures also the sofa seats were uncomfortable and hard another thing I didn’t like was that on Thursday August,14,2025 there was no warm water to take a bath in room 232 I had to take a bath with cold water and it was not a good or warm experience. For what I payed I think that we deserved better other than that everything was fine.

Property and the room were clean and well kept. The only suggestions I could offer are to include grab bars in the newly re-designed shower for safety. Also, older-style commode could be replaced with a chair-height unit for greater comfort.

Second time staying here and just as pleased as we were the 1st time, last year. Quiet, clean and love how different the property is vs a traditional looking hotel. Courtyard is beautiful. Feel safe here. Front desk is very attentive.

What was making about the property was the spacious room with the walk in shower in addition to the king size bed. The room came with fresh towels and my name was on the tv, which was my favorite part of the entire room. The hotel staff was very accommodating, especially with providing me with complimentary tooth paste as I left mine at home. It felt just like home, maybe even better.

Only stayed for one night but it was a good stay staff was friendly room was comfy the only thing i wasn't a fan of was the whole glass door on the first floor luckily it is covered by a sheet.

I only stayed for one night. The place is old and has a bit of smell. The room was fairly clean. Very little food options nearby.

We were there for place for our son to get ready for his prom. So glad when the limo arrived and we could leave. Didn’t even bother to stay the night.

I wish there were more/better food options at the hotel so that I didn’t have to travel for food. The cafe had very limited hours and the food offered at the self serve kiosk was subpar. There was a sandwich and two chicken ceasar salads in the fridge that were expired, unless the date on the sticker was prepared on (it was 4/4 and the sticker said 4/1, usually these stickers indicate sell by or perishable by date). It was a lot of junk food frozen options. Would like to see more variety offered and better coffee in the rooms. Otherwise the room was very clean and comfortable.

Property was clean, a little noisy. Food was delicious, but they charged my breakfast to my room that I already paid for with a debit card (the transaction went through my bank account). They tried to tell me the cameras showed no payment was made. It was on my oninne banking as a transaction, so that could not be disputed. They wouldn't take it off, even with proof. They told us we had a poolside view with the patio/balcony, but our room had a view of the back parking lot with construction. Phone didnt work. Advertised Starbucks coffee, but that was only until 10 am, even though they told me it was "all day." Not a happy customer.

room wasn't clean, had to switch rooms because it appeared to be flea's or something of that sort on the bed sheets in the first room. The staff downstairs never answer the phone and when they do, they put me on hold several times back to back. My last night staying there the air conditioner went out around 8:30 pm and they didn't have any maintenance or anyone available to come look or fix the AC.

The staff assisted me at check in was unbelievably unprofessional. Took her twenty minutes to give me a key to a room, which turned out to be occupied (I tried opening the door but the latch was on, went back to the front desk and upon checking she confirmed the previous guest didn’t check out.). Then it took her another thirty minutes to get me to a second room. By the time I made it to my room it’s already past midnight. No apologies no nothing whatsoever. Horrible service considering this is a Marriott property.

We stay here when visiting family in the Dallas area. It’s clean, comfortable, and convenient for a reasonable price.

Only 1 working elevator. Which made it extremely difficult ( I have both knees replaced and left hip replacement) booked for 2 queen beds, I received 1 king bed and a pull out couch. Bed pillow case was nasty and not replaced from former reservation. Was told and booked for breakfast vouchers, which I didn’t receive on Saturday morning because we left for the day before 7:00 am. Was not told breakfast was not served till 7:00 am. Air conditioner cluncked VERY loud when it turned off all night. Hotel is being renovated and not user friendly. Will not stay here again, ever.

The staff was GREAT, room was great, location and cleaning was fantastic. One observation that could improve, as a gift at check in I was given a water battle and a little bag of nuts, nice, but that is something that could be available in the room with a couple of bottle of waters complementary, knowing that a water bottle is around 10 cents, so a gift at the desk of 10 cents its not that impresive. If you give a gift for being a member of the hotel, something like a cookie or something a bit more valuable (dont have to be much) but a nice cookie might at a nice touch to it and not a 10 cents bottle of water. Besides that we had a great stay and will definitely book the hotel again, this was just more of a suggestion.

This place was not the usual high standard I would expect from courtyards . The place was dirty , carpets stained and trash left in stairways. AC unit was nosy so it was hard to sleep.

When you first walk into the lobby, it looks so nice. You think you’ve hit the jackpot! But, don’t be fooled like we were. Once you get around the side or back and enter the door to the hallways, you’ll see immediately what it’s really about! Floors and stairs are filthy and stink. Ceilings and walls have water Damage and mold. Multiple room doors look like they’ve been broken into. The entire place stinks so bad and they try to cover it up with strong air freshener. The room that we had looked nothing like what you see in the pictures on the website. It’s very outdated, very small, and not clean. We also had a leak from the refrigerator we believe. There was a cold wet area on the floor the entire time we stayed. The balcony is so tiny, dirty, and bug filled, it’s useless. And the supposed “courtyard view” that we had was terrible. Nothing nice to see at all. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. In all honesty, I could’ve paid way less at the motel 6 and probably had a better experience. I can’t believe that Marriott would even own and operate out of a building in this bad of condition.

Wish we knew property was being renovated -- the renovation noise was an issue.

This was an awful hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again. When we arrived at the hotel we checked into our rooms the floors in the lobby were nasty and smelly. It was disgusting. We didn't receive room service until the second day. We had to ask for service. I am very dissatisfied with this hotel and the service.

Only complaint would be the musty smell from the carpet was worse in the hallways than in the rooms, but could still smell it in the room. The carpets need to be replaced or just removed. Everything else was great!

Staff were helpful and efficient with check-in & check-out. Room was clean & cool (which was great, as it was blazingly hot outside). Rooms seem well-insulated for sound - one of the nights I had some pretty noisy neighbors, but between the insulation & the white noise from the A/C, that pretty well drowned them out. Shower was hot and had good pressure (always important!) Overall the same good stay I generally expect at a Courtyard. (I did not check out breakfast/pool/other amenities, so no notes on those.)

The property is right next to a noisy construction site. They start doing construction at 7am and woke me up. Would have been nice if they assigned me a room that was not right next to the construction.

It's a very dated hotel with 1 elevator that we had to walk a country mile to reach, the balcony were full of spider webs & the only way to contact the front desk is to go in person because no one answers the phone from your cellphone because there's no landline phone in the rooms...oh the mini frig on It's highest setting does not chill anything unless you're staying a week or more...smdh
