Willa Amicus

The place is beautiful, staff super nice everything clean and very close to an exceptional hike (polana strążyska). The breakfast delicious and also one day we had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. It is up the hill just to keep in mind if you are planning to walk in winter for the snow.

All was good, no issues.

The room was incredibly cosy and clean which was super comforting. The food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing and probably some of my favourite dumplings throughout the stay! Staff was incredibly friendly and even helped us book a cab! The temperature in the shower could do with being a tad warmer!

I chose this place because of the location, It is very close to the Tatrzański park entrance and It is next to my (recently) favorite restaurant in Zakopane. The willa has its own restaurant with the huge outside terrace. Instead of going to the restaurant I had planned to, I decided to try the facilities's food. In Zakopane I usually distinguish bad restaurant form good by trying my favorite dish of this region which is regional grilled cheese called "Oscypek" with cranberry jam. And hell yeah, it was good in this place, 3 pig pieces with bacon for fair price. Chicken soup and beer were great as well. So, the place earned my trust from the beginning. Moving to the room, it was clean and comfy. In one word, it would be a nice place to stay for a couple of days. However, I was there only for one night and I'm telling about 1 person room with big bed and private bathroom. Also I saw a huge private parking which is a big plus. In addition, I liked that breakfast was included in the price. The only thing I didn't like was the price. Yeah, it is good location, good food, included breakfast and confy room. But still, to be 100% genuine with you and fair in comparing it with the market, I would say it is 30zł overpriced. It would be ideal for 150 and that's why I give it 9/10.

I liked the design of the room I did not like the smell in the hole. Also the neighbor's ventilator and dog are close by building kept us awake at night.

Overall, Willa Amicus is a peaceful and nice place to stay in Zakopane. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast spread was excellent, as was the dinner we ordered at the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, even if a bit warm.

The hotel is located near the national park. We could reach the citycenter by foot in 20 minutes. The staff spoke English as well. There were free parking spots. The room and the bathroom was quite big, there were some places for the clothes too. It was good to have kettle, mugs, fridge. The bed was comfortable. The WIFI was teribble (in the room and in the restaurant as well). The room was really noisy due to the kitchen and the restaurant from dawn until night. Out room was above the kitchen. There was a little drain smell in the bathroom.

Very good location in not crowded area of Zakopane, comfortable and clean room, fantastic breakfast included, convenient parking area and very friendly staff. Restaurant located on ground floor offers really great, tasty lunch and dinner ?

The hotel was amazing, furnished with style, very cozy and smelled great!

Exceptional

Location was perfect for hiking. Breakfast was ok. I specified in my booking that we wanted 2 single beds but they gave us only one double bed. Thankfully they upgraded us after we told them about this but the drain in the room smelled really bad. The room was also no cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed.

Staff were very supportive and nice. None.

Mountain view, very good smell at the room, wooden floors, nice interior and what a great breakfast with national polish food and tasty desert!!! We have no no disappointing experiences.

Modern mixed with old, traditional style. Room could be slightly bigger.

The view from the window to the mountains was really nice. We had a problem but the staff solved it immediatly by moving us to another rooms. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms very nice. In the new rooms wifi was great. The biggest problem was MOLD. The whole hotel has a slite smell of mold although in the corridors everything seemed fine. We noticed black mold in our room so they moved us to another rooms. One of the new rooms smelled so much like mold although no black spots could be seen. If you have allergy for mold, do not choose this place. The breakfast was more or less the same each morning: for a family you get a plate of ham and cheese and some vegetables, as well as a bread basket. They would sometimes give eggs but they were cold. There was no coffee machine for the breakfast (although there was one behind the bar and you should pay extra for it). Not many fruits: one tangerine for each person. Wifi in our first room was non-existing. We told staff about it and she said it was due to too many people in the hotel. Even in the middle of the night it still did not work. In the new rooms wifi was great:)
