LEGOLAND Beach Retreat
About LEGOLAND Beach Retreat
LEGOLAND® Beach Retreat isn't your average family vacation - retreat to this spacious, lake-view resort where the vibe is relaxed and easy and your kids can enjoy more fun in the sun! LEGOLAND Beach Retreat is a non-traditional hotel that features a village-style layout with 83 beach-themed bungalows offering 166 separate rooms, each with whimsical LEGO® décor inside and out. The brightly colored bungalows are grouped into 13 sections, each named after a popular LEGO Minifigure including Shark Suit Guy, Ocean King and Sea Captain. Each centers around an outdoor play area with fun and challenging elements, all within view of the bungalows' shaded private patios, where parents can put their feet up, kick back and relax while kids play. The Lighthouse towers more than 45 feet over the first-of-its-kind vacation resort, a centrally located icon that will be home to Sandy's Castle Restaurant, Brick's Beach Bar, Palm Tree Traders retail store and a giant sandcastle-themed LEGO® building area for kids. The largest themed pool at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort highlights an outdoor oasis filled with a sandy area perfect for building sandcastles and a giant play structure for kids. Around the pool, regular activities will include (as examples) dance parties, bean bag toss, hula hoop contests, volleyball, Red Light Green Light, Hot Potato, chalk art competitions, sandcastle build show-and-tell and “Master Builder” competitions with large LEGO® soft bricks. Please check with the reception team for specifics during your stay.

I recently stayed at LEGOLAND Beach Retreat with my family and was extremely disappointed by the condition of our room. The biggest issue was cleanliness. Upon entering, the room had a strong urine-like odor that immediately made us uncomfortable. For a family resort, especially one carrying the LEGOLAND name, I expected much higher housekeeping standards. Beyond the unpleasant smell, the room felt worn and poorly maintained, giving the impression that cleanliness and upkeep were not priorities. It’s difficult to relax and enjoy a vacation when you’re concerned about the condition of your accommodations. Customer service was another disappointment. While a few employees were polite, many interactions felt dismissive and unhelpful. When guests have concerns, they should feel heard and valued, but that was not our experience. The LEGO theming and colorful atmosphere were enjoyable for our child, and the location is convenient for visiting the park. However, those positives were overshadowed by the cleanliness issues and lackluster service. Families pay a premium to stay at a LEGOLAND resort, and with that comes reasonable expectations for clean accommodations and attentive hospitality. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the cost. The resort has a great concept and plenty of potential, but significant improvements are needed in housekeeping, maintenance, and guest service.

The rooms were small but great place to rest for another busy day at Legoland.
-
I loved the front porch and the playgrounds right outside of the rooms. This was the most family friendly place we've ever stayed.
-
Clean room, but ac didn't work, fridge didn't work, the pool opens at 11 everyday not giving guests the right to enjoy before checkout is preposterous.

Every single thing

Our first room was extremely hot, which was especially challenging for me due to health issues. The staff moved us to a second room, and while the temperature was better, it still felt a bit warm. Unfortunately, the second room had a very strong cleaning-product odor that reminded us of carpet powder. The smell was quite overpowering and difficult to ignore. One bright spot was the complimentary breakfast the next morning. We really appreciated that gesture, and the breakfast itself was enjoyable. The service at both the bar and restaurant was friendly, but slower than expected. My biggest suggestion would be to refresh the main lobby. For a resort tied to the creativity and excitement of LEGO, the lobby felt a bit dated and could use more color, energy, and interactive elements to create a stronger first impression. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location. While there were a few issues with the room and service, there is a lot of potential here, and with some updates and attention to detail, the experience could be even better.

When i arrived they said i did not have a reservation, i literally had to throw a tantrum to get them to call the manager. I had to provide bank statements, emails, reservation email, reservation numbers and more it was so humiliating as the line behind my car became impatient. I was at a window with a gate. All of this happened in front of my kids who were getting really stressed out after such a long journey. It was 7pm before i got a room key.The worse part was the pool and resturant closed at 9pm . There was no opening times on the pool gates. So basically i had 2 hours of resort time!!! It was silent and pitch black. No one was out , in the middle of no where..there were no activities and i had 2 boys 7 and 9 years old in a room, all we could do was go to sleep. We basically paid $300 to use the resort for 2 hours. RIP OFF!!! Never again!!!

Hi the only problem we had were ants we came back in our room they were on our food and birthday cake. They kindly move us to another room but the food was no good after that!

I loved that this property was so family friendly. My kids loved how “on-theme” it was. Lego everywhere! They even got a free small Lego set on their pillows upon checking in. The pool was great, with a fire pit and you could purchase smores kits for nighttime at the fire pit. It felt very safe as well as quiet. Families all around us, but it never got loud. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

Excelente lugar cerca de LEGOLAND. Ideal familias.
-
Maravilloso lugar, satisfactorio al 100%, por el staff super amable, locación y el cuidado a los niños es espectacular

Ant and spider infestation in rooms, dirty linen, had to keep most our luggage and any snacks for our toddler in the van and have her eat in there. Asked several times for someone to come clean or for a different room but no help. Will not stay again and don’t recommend. The main hotel however did appear to be clean and maintained.

The room was awesome and also the breakfast area but one thing that happened was that in the bunk bed we found strands of hair on the top bed

We love this resort! Our only issue was a leak in the room but we were given a different room and they responded very quickly.

One small pool, activities were at the bigger hotels not beach retreat, beds uncomfortable, not enough towels when room cleaned - no hand towels, no wash cloths, only 3 towels and four people in room
