Aloft by Marriott Waukee

The room was clean but light switches were in odd spots for the shower and vanity area. We booked a king room with two people, yet only received one complimentary water bottle. Also for the price a complimentary breakfast should be included. Hotels right across the street were the same price per night but offered a free breakfast. Also, it was a beautiful night so my wife and I sat outside on the patio area only to get our clothes soaked from extremely wet cushions. I would suggest bringing them in if it rains. Luckily, I wasn’t going out for the night as my clothes were soaked. I’m not saying that it wasn’t a nice hotel but I am not sure I would return unless a breakfast gets added to the stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. Nice big tv Why are the hallways so dark? I have night blindness and if it wasn’t for my friend I would have had trouble getting to my room. And I don’t feel safe in dark hallways in a hotel. Big turn off for me. No exhaust in the bathroom and didn’t care for the two sliding doors to the bathroom. It was beautifully decorated and modern but too dark!

Very impressive, clean and extra contemporary. We were not that comfortable with the table and L shaped bench in the room.

Good room layout. Very comfortable. Location to theatre next door fab. Parking easy. Quick to get onto highway No restaurant though they do breakfast at a high cost. There is fast food behind not recomended and a mexican behind nothing else in walking distance. Bar has no atmosphere was always empty . Had to walk entire building on way back from show as door keys didnt work. Also happened earlier

This was our 1st time staying at Aloft. Great place for a single person or couple. The room was truly a "loft". Very unique!

The vibe of the place is fun and modern. I loved the booth-style seating in the room, and the wallpaper was unusual in the best way — it fit the theme perfectly. Everything was super clean, easy to navigate, and felt fresh. I didn’t try the food, but I did stop by the bar and the service there was great. Check‑in was quick and smooth. The outdoor area had a really cool setup, and while I didn’t use the pool, it looked very inviting. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to others.

I was in town for a concert this hotel was literally next door to the venue. Very accommodating, very comfortable beds. Easy to get to real close to I-80. Also had Amazon prime available. I would definitely stay here again if I am in town. I liked everything about it.

The bathroom door kept coming open

There was a 10-12 year old softball team staying near us. Slammed doors till midnight.

Great location near the interstate, concert venue and walkable to a couple food places The only issue was the shower didn’t have a privacy. It sits out in the room.

The only minor thing is the room doors are very loud when they automatically close.

Went to concert at vibrant music hall, this hotel is very close, could walk there. The bed in rm 201 could use some help, a little soft and lower in the middle, so 2 people roll to center. Dining options nearby.
