Views of lake & snowcapped mountains. Quiet. Morning sounds of birds. Well maintained gardens of eatables and local plants. Furniture and furnishings are right out of designer magazines, and all is coordinated and comfortable. No excess. No clutter. But lots of it and all fits together. Hostess is personable; well-traveled; and proficient in the art of conversation. Days later in our travels we met again with other guests. They said out-of-the-ordinary tips and hints from the hostess about places to see and things to do enhanced their visits.

We were lucky to find Alaska's Lake Lucille B&B. Located about an hour north of the Anchorage airport, we were looking for a place to stay on our way to Talkeetna. Our room was charming, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend this B&B to other travelers.

Carol has a beautiful B&B. The yards are manicured and such a lovely setting. It is so peaceful down by the lake or in the back yard. Breakfast was fabulous. She goes above and beyond.

Charming old school B&B with hot breakfast! Host super friendly and accommodating. Surrounding mountains have plenty of trails and stunning vistas. Great stop if you’re coming up from Seward. Denali is doable from here if you’re on a budget.

Excellent place to stay that feels like home. Breakfast was way better than anywhere. You could buy food locally. The host is amazing and great company. Location is perfect. Definitely will be staying there again.

Tidy, clean, and full of love. This bed and breakfast is the perfect place to stay when visiting Wasilla. The morning breakfast was delicious, the views of the mountains from the dock that sits on the lake are spectacular, and the room was very cozy and clean. I will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a great time. The suite was clean and had everything we needed. In the morning, the breakfast was delicious and served by our host. The property exceeded our expectations. We felt at home, comfortable, and well taken care of. We had great conversations with our host and other guests. We would highly recommend staying for the night or a few days.

The room was perfect! Comfortable bed and plenty of room. I also had my own bathroom which was excellent! carol, the owner of the B&B is the sweetest person and the breakfast meal and coffee were fantastic!

Highly recommend, a beautiful house and cozy rooms, perfectly situated at a romantic lake. One could make a fire to sit around with other guests, talking and watching out for the northern lights. And above all a perfect and lovely hostess!

Properly was well manicured and had access to a beautiful lake. Inside the home was super clean and welcoming. Our hostess, Carol, was very attentive to our needs and made a wonderful breakfast each morning. I highly recommend this B&B and you will not be disappointed.

This was a 5 star lodging. Just wish the bed were a little bigger. I believe it was a full size bed.
