Solid, long-standing option run by two professionals with experience in the tourism industry. Good representation on webpage and booking.com; you get exactly what you see on the pictures. Location is excellent, staff very friendly and the car park close by is efficient. Housekeeping could be improved somewhat. E.g. soap container in shower was empty, guests are asked to keep the kitchen clean, but there is neither a kitchen nor a paper towel. Small metal trash container in bathroom is broken.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carinthia Velden and we reccomend it to anyone who wants to stay close to the center and the nightlife. Not much! The hotel building is almost 100 years old, which shows the way the doors and windows in the room open and close for example, but that just gives an extra patina/shine to it!

You can use the card for many discounts around the lake. The room was great with a view to the lake, large enough, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, clean , there is a Nespresso machine(bring extra if you enjoy more coffee throughout the day ). A great location overall. Free parking for guests and even after you check out and prefer to enjoy the city before leaving you can leave your car in the parking lot. The decorations in the hotel were very nice for being an "old" place established in 1929. Elevator to get to your room. We enjoyed it very much. Nothing to complain about it.

Great location. Old world charm. Large rooms, high ceilings. Double doors. Yet all the conveniences that you could want. And parking. We loved it ❤️❤️ There was only two coffee pods
